Jane's Recap: Episode 15637, March 25, 2009

Pay Back

Cute scene with Jeffrey, Reva, and the wet baby Henry! Now Natalia and Olivia, looking at photos. Natalia tells Liv, she is so beautiful. Nat took the photo, not Ashley. Bill is at the mansion acting like he doesn't know who Hilda is. Hilda is confused. Lizzie and Bill are continuing their charade. I find it pretty boring. Hilda has been with the Spauldings for 10 years (future trivia question!). After they explain it to her, Hilda says she is just trying to help, and warns, No kissing on the second date, that's what Hilda's mom always told her. Dinah is yelling at Frank to make him arrest Dinah. He just wants a statement. Then she gets to go home and he will call her back in. She won't leave until he arrests her. (Dinah really needs a lawyer. I don't understand why Shayne doesn't mention that! He seems amused.)

Only Love can save the world!

Dinah makes a big scene and Frank finally arrests her for disturbing the peace. Shayne laughs. I didn't enjoy that scene. It was stupid. Lizzie and Bill on their 2nd date isn't much better. She says she is into Karate. He takes a call. Dinah was arrested. He can't come down to the station because he is on a date. They stop the date while Bill explains it was Frank. Lizzie doesn't want to think about the kidnapping anymore. They can't keep the world from crashing down on them, she says, but Bill says they can build a moat. Tomorrow is her dads trial. He is going to tell Frank they can't help him out. Josh gave Jeffrey a master class in diapering. Reva and Jeffrey are babysitting. Josh asks how she is feeling. Reva says one day at a time. They are monitoring baby growth daily and will have the c-section as soon as big enough. Josh leaves a gift. Call if you need anything. Reva says Thanks Josh. They are alone, Reva says she is the babysitter and Jeffrey is the boyfriend who came over for a visit. Blake! Blake talks to Frank about this woman and tries to fix Frank up with her. He already has one of those. Blake wants to know who and so he won't tell her. She is a lucky girl, whoever she is. Natalia finds the website Olivia was looking at, looking for a place to live. If Nat and Frank get married, they would be in the way. If Nat says yes, Liv wants to be prepared. Nat can't tell her what to do. Olivia leaves to look at a great place. Blake is going to show it to her. Natalia is upset. Liv asks her not to be so sad. Liv says she will always be her family, just in a different way, but she'll have Frank and his family. Natalia looks devastated.

Blake and Liv meet at Company. Natalia comes to the jail and finds Dinah in jail for disturbing the peace. She is bitching about not being able to pay for the bad thing she did. Nat says that actions have consequences. She wants to be the woman who is good enough to be Mallet and Marina's friend. Like going to confession without all the candles. Nat says she will light a candle for her. Dinah asks if Shayne was out there. No one was out there. Dinah says so much for "I'll be there." Reva and Jeffrey look at the baby and talk about their baby. Knock at the door and Shayne comes in. He is there for Jeffrey because Dinah needs a lawyer. Jeffrey says he is babysitting. Reva asks what is going on. She says he is grounded and can't play with Dinah any more. Shayne tells Jeffrey she is down at the station making things worse for herself by the minute. He trades babysitting hours to get Jeffrey to save Dinah from herself, as Reva says. Hilda shows up at Company saying the police are looking for Mr. Lewis and they might not answer the phone, so she brought the message. She loves Miss Dinah so much, no matter what she does Hilda falls in love all over again. Hilda got across the moat.

Lizzie tries to get Bill to go to the police station and deal with the Dinah situation, tomorrow the trial, then they build a moat. They can do this. Nothing is ever simple when Dinah is involved. He doesn't have a white horse, but he has a dog and a credit card, and she feels better already. Dinah is not happy to see Jeffrey and Shayne. Charges have not been field. Shayne talks to her. Jeffrey leaves. Natalia shows up at M&M's where Reva is babysitting. Natalia brings a casserole because they don't have much time to cook. Nat says she should have some and Reva says great! I'm feeling peckish. Nat is trying to get a feeling of being a part of their family. They are a great family. That is one of the things she loves most. Reva makes her admit she is dating Frank. Frank is a great guy, who deserves a woman like her who cooks for him and appreciates him. Nat asks Reva not to say anything, they are trying to keep it low key. Olivia and Josh at Towers. She is flirting with him. He says Reva and he don't fight anymore. Olivia says you can't count on anything. He remembers her rolling olives around in her mouth. How could she forget. She takes his drink and says he is looking for trouble. He says how about you. She says yes. Be careful. You just may find it. (Hot scene!)

Bill and Lizzie show up. Frank sends them back to the jail. Frank wants to know what they want to do. Lizzie wants it behind her. Frank says go talk to Jeffrey O'Neil and come back and let him know. Frank calls Reva to see how things are going, she says she needs him now. Reva asks Nat to babysit and heads to the station because Jeffrey needs help. Liv and Josh are footloose and fancy free, but Josh says he doesn't believe her. Why is she here. He really knows her. He wants to cut her off when she talks about marriage being simple. Lizzie says she will not file charges. She won't serve any time. Bill says what happens to Dinah is of no concern to him. Jeffrey leaves. Dinah still won't leave. Lizzie comes back to talk to Dinah and sends Shayne out to talk to Bill. Lizzie says she will never understand why Dinah did it. She wants her to know that the person she hurt was her brother. Dinah will pay with every lonely moment of her life. Her nightmares will fade, but she has Bill. Dinah is alone.

Josh and Liv talk about no feelings equals no stress, no morning after analysis, because you know what you did and you enjoyed it, no guilt, and its aerobic! Josh wants the real thing, Olivia says Me too. Frank comes to the house and finds Natalia. Reva set up Frank to be there with Nat. He is starving, she has it covered, stroganoff, green beans, and brownies. Reva and Jeffrey at Company discuss Reva being a matchmaker. She arrived with a stroganoff and baked brownies for Frank, that is love. Lizzie and Bill meet up after Lizzie said her last thing to Dinah. It is over. Dinah is gone, a weight has been lifted. Dinah almost cost him his life. They almost kissed, then stopped. It is only their second date. They are going to see a romantic comedy. She wants candy, not popcorn. She wants to sit up close. He wants to sit in the back. He puts a move on her and she puts a Karate move on him. Dinah and Shayne look on and she says he looks happy. She wants him to be happy. Shayne offers to take her to a movie. Sit in the back row. She wants to be alone and leaves him standing there.

Next. Phillip wants to make restitution. Nat tells Olivia ( or thinks it) that she makes her happy.

Easter candy commercial! Seems early. :)

Finding The Truth

Bill tells his side of the story to Phillip about Cyrus. Phillip goes to Alexandra for the truth on both Bill and Cyrus. Jeffrey has a celebration planned for Reva but she’s not much in the mood. Buzz finds out Coop had a will.

Previously - Lizzie telling Cyrus she needs an ally in the Company. Is he willing to step up to the job? Cyrus is more than ready. Buzz wants to take out Alan and use Phillip as a weapon. Phillip is dangerous why not use him.

At the SPD, Phillip is quietly reading his newspaper when a visitor shows up. Phillip looks over and smiles. He wondered when Bill would show up. Bill has been looking for him. Phillip knows that. It seems that Bill climbed a mountain to find him. Phillip knows that. He knows a lot about Bill. Bill loves Lizzie. Phillip says true but he also kidnapped Lizzie as well from what Phillip has been told. Bill says he knows who did it. Why would Phillip believe him? Phillip agrees to go along with the game. Who is this mystery man? Bill says that this man is using the kidnapping to his advantage to weasel his way into Lizzie’s life. Bill has figured it all out by himself. Why not go to the SPD? Bill doesn’t have proof yet. Phillip admits he’s intrigued about who this mystery man is.

Just then Cyrus is answering his phone at Spaulding. It’s Grady on the phone. Cyrus tells Grady he can’t call him there at work. Grady questions how much longer. Cyrus says that this type of plan takes a lot longer to flesh out. He needs to get Lizzie to trust him then they can fleece the Spauldings. It’s a long range plan. Just then Lizzie enters and Cyrus covers saying he’s telling the press to buzz off. Lizzie says thank you for dealing with the press. She’s tired of them asking how she’s doing with her mentally deranged father back or the fact that her mommy was with her ex boyfriend. Cyrus tells Lizzie to go home and rest. Cyrus can do the work. They can even push back some of the deals. People would understand that she is under stress. She can’t do it all alone. That is why she hired Cyrus to be her right hand man. He’s the only person she can trust right now.

Reva is behind her desk at Cross Creek when Jeffrey enters. Jeffrey asks how she is doing. Not great. She’s trying to write a condolence letter to Buzz but nothing sounds right. They all sound cliché to her. Buzz was a lot more than just a good friend to her at one point. Jeffrey suggests going to Company and seeing Buzz in person. Reva says that is good idea. They also need to go see Daisy as well since Dylan is MIA and Harley is not coming back to town. Jeffrey says fine then it’s Buzz, Daisy and then his surprise. Is he going to tell her? Nope. Billy says seeing Daisy is a great idea. Since her parents are nowhere to be found it’s time for her grandparents to step up to the plate. Josh says the can tag along as well. All this loss is bringing up bad memories about Lara for Shayne. Billy says it looks like all roads lead to Reva. Jeffrey says sorry but that road is closed today. Reva looks at her husband. Billy suggests they all have a cup of tea then all go see Buzz together. Jeffrey just shakes his head.

Buzz walks into Coop’s room. He sees a picture of Coop, Buzz and Frank on the table. He sees the books as well. Buzz gets angry and tosses the picture. He regrets his burst of anger as soon as it happens.

“ Only love ….”

Buzz is still in Coop’s room walking around. He sees reports and story ideas. He looks over and see the Stanford campus marked on the map. He picks up the picture with the broken pieces of glass and opens a drawer. He goes to put the picture in and notices an envelope. He picks it up.

Cyrus and Lizzie are working at Spaulding. Cyrus is impressed with all the files in front of him. It’s all of Spaulding’s most lucrative cases and biggest accounts. Lizzie remarks that there is stuff here that they don’t even show the IRS. Cyrus is impressed. Can he handle this? Of course. Alexandra walks up and sees the closeness between Cyrus and Lizzie. Cyrus remarks that his ex wife looks well. She makes a remark that he’s a smooth as ever. Cyrus says that is in the past. Alex needs a word with Lizzie alone. Lizzie says that Alex can say it with Cyrus in the room. Cyrus gets the clue and says he can leave. Cyrus closes the door. Lizzie asks if her great aunt has a problem. Yes, and his name is Cyrus Foley.

Bill gives his version of Cyrus’ past in Springfield from being married to Alexandra then almost engaged to Marina while having an affair with Harley. The affair is part of the reason why Harley is still in Greece. Phillip is impressed. So Bill is certain that Cyrus kidnapped Lizzie yet he has no proof. Bill really needs Phillip’s help to get the proof. They have to protect Lizzie. Phillip laughs like Lizzie would let him do that since they have such a great relationship right now. Bill is desperate. Phillip says fine but he wants the whole story. Phillip wants Bill to start the day that Lizzie was kidnapped.

Mel is on the phone with Felicia at the boarding house. It’s still such a shock about Coop. She sees Buzz inside Company. She will call her mother back. Buzz unlocks the door for Mel. He locks it again after she comes in. They are not open today for business. She is so sorry about Coop. Mel brushes tears aside. Buzz says it’s good she is there he was going to call her. She’s surprised by the news. How can she help? Buzz says that Coop made a will. Why would such a young man make a will? Buzz needs Mel to read it. Mel hugs Bill.

Bill squirms around at the SPD and starts to tell the story but stops. Bill again says that he loves Lizzie. Phillip says enough tell him the whole story. Bill says they were doing a huge presentation for Spaulding. It was the cusp personally and professionally for them. It was a big one for Decker. Bill looks out into the bull pen of the SPD before he continues again. Lizzie was supposed to meet him when she didn’t show up he thought she had flaked out. Bill was pressured to do the presentation. It was a huge success. He had no choice but to do the presentation. Bill still didn’t understand why Lizzie didn’t show up. He went up to her room and she was not there. There was none of her clothes either. Bill assumed she had just left. Then the note showed up first for $50,000 then for $ 5 million. He didn’t call the police? Bill went to do the ransom drop but the crook was spooked. There was a phone call then. Bill went to the SPD to tell the police about it but he lost the signal. Bill started drinking then. He started drinking will Lizzie was missing? Bill continues on. He was just walking around and low and behold found a white van. Inside the van were Lizzie’s earrings. Bill would recognize them anywhere. He saw an oil leak and started following it. It lead to the old cannery. He went inside and found Lizzie tied up in a corner. So Bill was the one that rescued Lizzie? If Bill was the one that saved her then why does she think that Bill is the kidnapper? Bill did something stupid and took the van when he rescued Lizzie. There was an accident. Bill was in a coma for a couple of weeks. That gave the crooks plenty of time to plant evidence. He awoke in the hospital with Lizzie there. Before he could talk to Lizzie, Frank came in and arrested him. He was told stuff. Why did Bill just not tell them the truth? Bill was fuzzy on his memories. Every time he answered questions, he looked more guilty. Phillip asks the obvious question, why is Bill not in jail? The evidence warehouse burnt down. Phillip says that is convenient. Lizzie started to doubt him after that. She was going to go to the press and say she still did when Bill told her that he had no memory. It was then that he went to search for Phillip. Phillip says he needs time to process this information. Bill tells him to think fast. Lizzie is in trouble. Bill is telling the truth. They both have to protect Lizzie from Cyrus. Bill leaves. Phillip sits perplexed on what is the truth and what is not. He has to find out what the truth is.

Alex can’t believe that Lizzie is sharing so many Spaulding secrets with Cyrus. She can’t do that. Lizzie trusts Cyrus. Did she forget what he did to Alex? Lizzie knows. They all have lied. Alex says they are not the same type of people as Cyrus. Alex is going to go see Buzz to pay her condolences. Maybe Marina can tell Lizzie what Cyrus is really like or even Harley can call and they can have a phone conference. Lizzie says the truth is relative. She lied to Coop about being Sarah’s father so he would marry her. What if she had told him the truth? Coop may not have died. Alex says it was an accident. If it wasn’t for Lizzie he would be alive and she could be with her daughter. She can’t trust Phillip. The only person Lizzie can trust is Cyrus. Alexandra leaves. Lizzie tries to pour a drink but her hands are too shaky.

Mel and Buzz are talking when there is a knock at the door of Company. Mel says she can tell the person to come at a better time. Buzz says it’s fine. Buzz opens the door and sees Jeffrey and Reva. Mel is going to go make some coffee. Jeffrey says he’ll help because secretly Mel makes horrible coffee. Reva sits with Buzz. How is he doing? Whatever he needs, Reva is there for him and so is Jeffrey. They are all there for him right now. Reva wasn’t sure about coming. Buzz questions why. Reva’s little guy is safe in her stomach and Buzz just lost his little guy. Reva hugs Buzz.

Phillip is inside the bull pen at the SPD. He’s handcuffed to a table. He tells the person on the phone that he needs their help to sort out the truth.

Phillip is waiting in his jail cell when Alex shows up. Alex kisses him. It’s so good to see her nephew again. He’s home. It will be alright now. She came as soon as she could. Has he seen Rick? Phillip says that is complicated. So he’s been filled in on what is happening around town. Phillip chuckles. Yeah, everyone’s been telling them their versions to place him. He’s not sure who to believe. Alex still can’t believe about Beth and her affair with Coop. Phillip is not worried about Beth right now. He wants to talk about Lizzie. What does Alex know about Cyrus Foley. Alex chuckles and sits and talks about her ex. What Phillip has heard and probably ten times worse. The problem is that Cyrus is so adorable and charming. He can worm his way into your life so quickly. She’s thinking that he’s doing that to Lizzie right now. Phillip was worried about that.

Josh looks at Reva and says he tried to call Dinah but no answer. Shayne may be with Edmund. They should go over there and look for him. It has to be hard with Shayne because of Lara. Jeffrey gets annoyed and says that Reva is not available to do that. Reva is sick and taking care of her baby. Enough is enough with Josh interfering with her life. Josh has to start creating these emergencies so he can put his family back together. It’s not going to happen. Reva has a lot to celebrate tomorrow. Buzz says right. Buzz says he can still get the dinner together. Jeffrey says that is fine. He’s made other plans. Reva questions about tomorrow then remembers that tomorrow is her last chemo appointment. It’s an important hurdle in her cancer treatment. Buzz doesn’t have to do anything. He has enough to worry about it. Reva is not sure about celebrating with everything that is happening. Buzz tells Reva to celebrate. Life is precious. When she makes a toast tonight, have him in her prayers. Reva hugs and says she loves Buzz.

Phillip tells Alex that she is confirming pretty much everything that Bill told him about Cyrus. Bill as in Bill Lewis? She’s not sure how much Phillip can believe out of Bill’s mouth. Phillip questions what he doesn’t know about Bill. Bill is following in the footsteps of Billy with his drinking. He’s become almost a drunk.

Bill arrives at Spaulding and sees Cyrus and Lizzie working closely. Bill steps back outside and pours some booze on himself. He walks in acting like a drunk. Is there some big meeting today? Lizzie isn’t impressed at all.

Bill continues to play Cyrus and Lizzie. Did he interrupt a big meeting? Isn’t it a little early to be drinking. What is the big problem? Coop just died and Lizzie’s crazy daddy is back. Does that ring any bells? Bill is sorry. Cyrus says enough. He’s taking Bill out of there. Why is Bill doing this to Lizzie today of all days? Cyrus says he should just put Bill back in that gutter that he climbed out of.

Phillip asks if Bill has been a problem since he got back from Venezuela for Lizzie. Alex says there has been good and bad moments. Does she think that Bill was the one that kidnapped Lizzie? Alex is not sure. Lizzie seems unsettled lately. It worries Alex. It reminds her of another person that went down a dark path. Beth ? No how Phillip was acting out before…Lizzie is heading for trouble.

Reva and Jeffrey drink a cider at Towers. Reva thanks Jeffrey for this. Jeffrey says that it’s o.k. to call Shayne if she wants if it will make her feel better. It wasn’t Shayne she was thinking about. Then she can call Buzz if she wants. Reva says it seems weird celebrating her last chemo appointment. The last chemo is a big deal. Reva is worried that he will say she has cancer again. It’s unfair that she is doing good and Buzz is dealing with Coop’s death. Reva knows how lucky she is to be alive.

Buzz is Coop’s room when Josh arrives. Josh wanted to say goodbye. Buzz thanks Josh for coming. Josh says that if there is anything he can do just asks. Was Coop writing a new book? Buzz smiles at the papers in his hand. No it was Buzz’s birthday soon. Coop was writing a toast. “ Dad, my best friend.” Josh holds Buzz’s hands close.

Jeffrey has a gift for Reva. It’s a special occasion. Reva says the box is too big for jewellery. Reva opens and looks at the hat. Jeffrey says this is sort of a graduation for her. No more chemo finally. They can move onto the next phase of their lives. They are going to treasure every moment they have and not take it for granted. It’s the end of Reva’s cancer which is important. Reva toasts to the lives that will soon be here, are here and the ones that are not there anymore.

Bill is in his hotel room. He fakes waking up from a bad dream. Cyrus is there watching him. Bill says the dream was so real. Cyrus says that is just the booze. Bill say he was at the factory fighting with the kidnapper. He was just about to pull off the mask but just couldn’t reach it. Cyrus says that it is just a dream. He’s not getting his memory back. It’s wishful thinking and more likely the booze talking. Cyrus leaves. Bill starts to close the door. Cyrus pulls out his phone and tells Grady to call him now. They need to talk. Bill smirks. The smokescreen is working.

Billy arrives at Spaulding and sees Lizzie. Is he following Bill around? Bill was just there drunk as a skunk. He hurt her more than she thought was possible before yet once again he finds a way to hurt her again. Billy starts to tell Lizzie the truth but stops. Lizzie thinks she should just buy Bill out. Billy tries to stop her from doing that. Lizzie doesn’t want to talk about Bill anymore. Lizzie leaves.

Phillip looks at Alex worried. Does she think that Lizzie is going crazy? What is she saying exactly? She’s out of control and headed down a dark path. What is happening to her? Alex doesn’t have the answers but she’s not going to let her nephew just sit in there. She’s going to get him out and back home.

Buzz reads the note. Josh asks again if there is anything he can do. Buzz says the memorial is tomorrow. Can Josh speak? Josh says that he’s not a minister anymore. Buzz knows his son better. Josh is their friend. Buzz can’t do it. Josh would be honoured to speak for Coop. Buzz and Josh shake hands. Josh leaves. Buzz falls down on the bed crying.

Preview - Memorial. Alan telling Phillip that the Cooper’s blame the Spaulding’s for their problems. Lizzie is at the memorial and says it’s the Spaulding’s fault. Alan says stop right there. Everyone is stunned that Alan showed up.

Life Is Worth It

Lizzie hires Cyrus to be her number one butt kicker. Beth moves out of the Spaulding Mansion. Buzz and the Coopers grieve for Coop. Olivia tries to get up the nerve to say to Phillip.

Previously - Coop saying goodbye. Coop is breathing by a ventilator. Buzz pulls the plug on Coop.

Buzz is still in Coop’s room on the floor. Coop will always be his son. Lillian enters and moves Buzz’s hand. Lillian hugs him as the Coopers watch.

Olivia is answering a phone call outside the farmhouse. She looks over and sees Emma's doll of to the side. She walks over and gets in her car. She drives to the SPD. She parks in the police parking only section. Olivia tries to get up the courage to head inside.

Phillip is inside the jail looking at the bandages on his hand.

Lizzie walks into the Spaulding Mansion. Alan says good. He has something important to tell her. Phillip is back but he's in jail. Lizzie knows. She was the one that called the police. Phillip found her at the crash site. She was scared so she called. Alan is not angry with Lizzie. She's not sure if she can trust her father. While in jail, the family can figure out if Phillip is sane again. Lizzie is always safe with her grandfather. Alan questions if Lizzie has spoken to Beth yet. Beth is very confused right now. The need to avoid judging her for her part in this mess. The phone rings. Alan says more reporters. Lizzie answers and talks to Lilian. Lizzie drops the phone to the ground. Coop died.

Beth walks into Cedars and sees the Cooper clan all dejected. Lillian walks over to her daughter and says that she's so sorry. Beth falls down in tears. He crashed. Coop's brain got no oxygen. Beth says he was stable. If he wasn't she never would have left the hospital. Lillian says there was too much damage. He fought so hard to stay alive. It was just too much. Beth in tears rushes in. Buzz is still with is son. Beth breaks down and pleads over and over to Coop that he has to come back to her.

“ Only Love….”

The Coopers rally around Buzz in the waiting room. Frank hugs Buzz as he realizes that his son is gone for good.

Beth is still in the room when Lillian walks in and tries to comfort her daughter. What can Lillian do? Beth says she has to do this on her own. Lilian leaves. Beth is so sorry. So sorry this happened to Coop.

Alan tries to tell Lizzie that he's sorry. He knows how she cared for Coop. Right now the one thing that Lizzie has is her family. This type of situation can either bring a family closer or tear them apart. Beth needs all the support she can get right now. It was her choice that lead to Coop's death. They don't need to remind Beth of that. Phillip came back at a most awkward time. They have this time to put the pieces of their family back together. Lizzie wants to go over to the Coopers. Alan advises against that. The Coopers are using the Spauldings as a yardstick on how their life is. They envy the close family that the Spaulding's have.

Olivia is now inside the SPD. She's still not sure about going in and talking to Phillip. Mallet walks out and sees her. He says hi. Phillip is in jail. Olivia says she was planning on heading over to the Beacon today but she saw the doll. Phillip is in his cell. He can hear Olivia's voice. She's trying to imagine what he's like now. Mallet offers to get an officer to drive her home. Olivia says she's fine. She can't do this. Olivia leaves the SPD.

Mallet goes to see Philip. Has Mallet heard anything about Coop? Marina calls Mallet then. Mallet tells Phillip that Coop is gone. Mallet rushes off to be with Marina. Phillip slams the bars with his hands.

The Coopers want to help Buzz. Frank tells Buzz that they will get through this some how some way as a family. Buzz tells Frank they need to do what needs to be done.

Mallet, Marina and Daisy are at the house. It’s a new day in Springfield. They are going to head over to Company later. Daisy has no clue what to say to Buzz. Buzz was the rock when everything happened with Gus and then when Harley left. Mallet says there is no right or wrong thing to say. Daisy says that it’s not fair. A kid should not go before their parents. She’s not sure how a parent would get over that loss. Mallet says sometimes they don’t.

Later Beth arrives at the Spaulding Mansion. Alan walks over and asks how she is. He wanted to call her but stopped. He thought that he should give her some space. It's terrible what happened to Coop. Beth says that the only man who got her was Coop.

Buzz is reading Coop’s book in Company when he hears knocking on the window. Buzz walks over and unlocks the door. Frank questions if Buzz even went up to his room last night. Buzz says that he just started walking and kept walking. He eventually ended up at the crash site then walked home. Lillian hugs Buzz and tells him she’s going to go make some coffee. Frank says that he can go and call everyone. They don’t want them to read it in the newspaper. Frank can call Rocky to tell him about his brother’s death. Buzz says he can’t dodge that job. He has to do it himself. Frank says they will get through this.

Daisy hugs Buzz. Buzz is usually the one that gives the hugs but it’s nice he’s getting one from his granddaughter. What can she do to help? What needs to be taken care of? All that matters is all the Coopers are there.

Mallet and Marina sit at a table. Is Marina o.k.? She’s struck by what Daisy said about a kid going before their parent. She never really thought about that before. Mallet says most people don’t but it does happen. Here they are thinking about having their own child and it could happen. They should be excited with the news. Mallet suggests telling the Coopers now about their news. Marina says that this is the worst time.

Lizzie is at Spaulding reading the paper. She first sees the news about Phillip's return then about Coop's death. She looks down at her phone for a second. Cyrus walks in. She asks him if he knows about Coop. He does. Lizzie questions how Cyrus thinks the Cooper's are. Cyrus is not sure. He wanted to call Harley and talk to her but he was unsure about doing it. Does Lizzie need something from him? No, Lizzie is fine. Lizzie says it's just everything with Phillp's return and Coop's death. Then there is Beth and Lizzie has no clue what is up with her mother. Cyrus says she will be fine. She can't do that. She can't just call Bill like that. Cyrus says it's o.k. to want to reach out to someone. She says all it is she's hit rock bottom and she's trying to dig a bigger hole. Not Cyrus job. She needs him to do something extra. He's going to be her official butt kicker. When she's felling low, he has the right to give her a swift kick in the pants to get back to doing her job. Cyrus can do that. Cyrus gets up and looks at Lizzie. He lightly touches her shoulder and then leaves.

Beth and Alan continue to talk. He knows from experience that it's wise to make decisions when you are feeling like this. They should probably wait to reschedule the wedding. Beth laughs. There is not going to be a wedding. She said I do. Well not anymore. She can't after Coop died while trying to save her from Alan. Coop believed that she deserved something better. Alan says that Beth can blame herself. Alan says that Coop was not a hero. He tried to sneak around with. He was a coward. Beth said that Coop hid their relationship because she asked him to. He had faith that she could do more. He wanted to tell the world of their love. Alan says that this is a joke. Coop was not some paragon of virtue. He hide his feelings about Beth in a trashy book. She's not even that person in the book. Beth can't believe the venom that Alan is saying. Coop just died. Alan admits that it's sad that he was young and died. Death does not wash away his sins that he did.. Beth laughs and says Alan better hope for his sake that the sins are washed away from when a person dies. Alan's got ton of them. Beth leaves.

Frank gathers the Cooper kids around and tells them to start making calls. They need to phone Harley and tell her the news. It’s not good for Harley to come home with Phillip on the loose. Buzz questions if there is a chance that Phillip will make bail. Frank says it’s up to the DA. Frank doesn’t think it will happen. Buzz heads into the kitchen. Frank follows him in there. What exactly did Buzz and Phillip talk about at the jail? Justice.

Frank tells Buzz to stop cleaning. The kitchen is clean enough. What type of justice? What did they exactly say? Taking Alan out and using Phillip as a weapon. Frank tells his father he has to let this anger go. It was an accident. Alan is to blame for a lot of stuff but the brakes were not tampered with. He’s the reason that a lot of them are hurting. Buzz yells that he’s so tired of being the one to keep the peace. He wishes he could have done more for Coop. Buzz did do a lot. Buzz says that he gave Coop the keys that lead to his death. Buzz grabs his coat and leaves. Where is he going? He needs to be alone.

Beth walks down the stairs. She called James in boarding school to tell him the news. She'll have the rest of Payton's stuff sent later on. Alan questions what Beth had with Coop other than tawdry sex. Beth says it was real. Something Alan will never understand. Alan is tired of this sanctimonious crap. Coop wasn't inspiring. He was just a common writer. Beth was not living a fairytale with Coop. She was trying ot finish her story with Phillip. Beth slaps Alan for that comment. Alan says it was a game with Coop nothing more. A deranged game she was playing pitting Coop against Alan. Beth says it was never a competition.

Lillian shows up. Lizzie is so happy to see her Nana. Lillian just wanted to check on her. Lizzie is thankful she heard it from Lillian and not the newspaper. Is Lillian heading back to Company? Lizzie wants to see Buzz and tell him how sorry she is. Lillian says that is not a good idea. Lizzie loved Coop. Buzz treated her like family. Lizzie is not family. But Lillian and Beth...Lizzie gets that since she's a Spaulding. She's not . Lillian says stay away for today. Lizzie was on their side. She may not have liked Beth and Coop. Lillian says life is not fair. Lizzie is not in the mood for that speech today. Lillian will call Lizzie when it's the right time. Lizzie will be fine. Lillian leaves. Lizzie picks up her phone. She needs Cyrus and now.

Olivia walks into the courthouse and sees a judge. He's the one that saw the Phillip Spaulding arraignment therefore he's also going to do the case as well. The judge says that this is not appropriate conversation. Olivia says she was one the mother's victimized by Phillip. She wants to testify against him. She should go to talk to the prosecutor then. Olivia says she knows how that will work. She knows that it may not work either. She wants to make sure that Phillip doesn't come out no matter what the cost. The judge hopes that that was not a bribe. If it was then Olivia would be facing a trial of her own. The judge leaves.

Buzz walks up to Coops car that is still parked in front of Mallet and Marina’s house. Buzz looks at the stuff in the back. He picks up a CD and walks to the front. He sits down and turns on the car. He puts the CD in. The words “ Not Guilty” start playing. Buzz takes off fast in the car.

Lizzie tells Cyrus that she almost called Bill and her official butt kicker was no where to be found. Cyrus say sorry about that. Lizzie gets that Cyrus is not happy with his job. He wants more to do. It's not Lizzie's job to make his job more interesting. Lizzie has enough to deal with right now. Lizzie agrees and she has nobody to bounce her ideas off of right now. Lizzie feels like she keeps losing people. The one person that Lizzie can rely on ( Cyrus ) she keeps shutting out. Cyrus says she's not going to lose him anytime soon. Lizzie doesn't need reassurances what she needs is someone she can trust. She needs an ally at this company. What that new job would entail would be more responsibility , bigger projects. Essentially it would be more time stuck with Lizzie. Can he deal with that? Cyrus can handle that. Lizzie really wants to make sure that Cyrus can step up to the plate. Be Lizzie's number one person at Spaulding. Cyrus is in.

Mallet and Marina are at the house. There is a lot of people to phone. Mallet pulls out a photo album. Is he trying to make her sadder? Mallet says the pictures are of Marina when she was younger - first pony ride, marina and Eleni, swimming with Frank, riding a huge bike. Why are they looking at the pictures? They are looking at a life not how it is today but on most days. What happened to Coop was horrible thing. He’s not sure if they will get over it but they will get through it. What is the lesson from today? That life is not worth all the pain. He knows it’s hard to stomach but death is a part of it. Life is great there are a lot of beautiful moments, sweet really simple moments that you would never want to change. Parts of life that you do not want to miss out on. They can make their own memories with their own child. Don’t give up on that dream. Marina asks if their baby is a boy can they name them Henry. Yes of course.

Beth arrives at the SPD jail to find Phillip reading his newspaper. Phillip walks over. He's sorry about what happened to Coop. Beth wants to thank Phillip for saving Coop even if it meant that Beth had a just a couple more hours with him. Beth told Alan that she's moving out of the house. She's not sure where she's going from here. She's not sure why she came down to the jail. Phillip holds Beth's hand. He really wishes he could do something for her but he can't do much while he's stuck behind these bars. Beth leaves. Phillip watches her.

Alan is outside on the phone. He wants to talk to Chief Wolfe. Alan says they need to make the rules slide. A father should not be kept away from hs son. Buzz watches with anger in his eyes.

Preview - Josh telling Buzz to hold on. Coop made a will. Buzz trashes a picture when he finds that out. Bill tells Phillip he loves Lizzie. Phillip heard more than that like Bill kidnapped Lizzie. Bill says he didn’t but he has an idea who did. Phillip is willing to listen. Cyrus answers the phone at Spaulding Lewis.

A Light In The Window

Buzz and the Coopers find out about Coop’s accident. Phillip rescues Coop then Beth. Beth finds out about Coop. Bill continues to lie to Lizzie.

Previously - Beth arguing with Alan to let her be happy. Alan saying he made her happy once before. He can do it again. Alan taunt Coop on the phone. Coop crashes his car and Phillip rescues him.

Buzz and Frank are at Company waiting for the fireworks to happen. Frank questions how long it takes to break up a wedding. Buzz says whatever Coop does it will change everything for this family. Coop needs to be happy. Frank suggests another glass of wine for his dad. Buzz questions if Frank has read the book. Frank says he hasn’t had time. Buzz has already finished it. Buzz says his son has a real talent for writing a book. Frank questions what Buzz would call his own book. Today? What the hell happen or cautiously optimistic. Daisy shows up. What is up? Coop is bringing home a new bride today. Coop got married. Daisy says she’d love a happy ending after Bill and Lizzie mess. They need to celebrate and the place is not ready. Daisy tries to take a sip of beer but Buzz stops her. Buzz says go ahead one sip but don’t tell Harley. Daisy asks if they want to know how she is doing with Grady. Not really. Daisy says they are great. Buzz says good. He’ll take happiness wherever he can get it.

Mallet and Marina arrive at the adoption agency. Marina knew they would call especially since Mallet and Marina were planning on getting away. They’ve been so stressed out the last bit. Marina questions if something is wrong. Mallet says it’s probably just extra paperwork. It was fine when she stood up for him. It showed how much they love each other and want to have a family. Marina wants a baby so much. The counsellor calls them into the office.

Lizzie is at the chapel in a black dress waiting for the wedding to start. Lillian walks over with the flowers. Lizzie has to do something. She talked to both Beth and Alan. They want to get married. Lillian can’t believe that her daughter wants to marry Alan. Lizzie says that love is not a given for happiness. Alan has the right idea to take it where you can get it. Look at Beth’s record. She was married to Rick but he lied to her. Edmund locked Beth up in a tower. Phillip well they know how that ended. Beth is going with what she knows. You make the best of a bad situation with what you have. The programs for the wedding are really beautiful. Bill is brought more ginger ale by the waiter. Keep them coming in the champagne glasses. Lillian tries to reason with Rick. Why is he standing up for Alan? The old saying. Keep your friends close and you enemies closer ring a bell. Alan walks over and asks if Rick has the rings. He does. Lillian is pissed at Alan. He can’t want this. Someone has to save Beth. Beth meanwhile is stoically putting on her wedding veil. She has to do this to save Coop.

Meanwhile Phillip is trying to break into Coop’s car. He hears a hiss as the fires continue to rage and get hotter. He doesn’t have much time. Phillip breaks down the door and pulls Coop out. Phillip drags him far enough away as the car explodes into a fireball. Phillip looks down at Coop.

“ Only love ….”

Daisy looks at the book Coop wrote at Company. She always liked Beth but Beth and Coop? She never would have put that together. Frank knows the feeling. He never would have put Grady and Daisy together either. This is good stuff. It’s like a fairytale moment for him. He’s going to rush in and rescue the damsel in distress from the evil king and bring her back to the castle. This does not scream castle. Buzz says that is because it’s a fortress because they just took the first shot at the Spauldings. They need to bunker down. It may be better to build a moat around them. Daisy asks for just a castle for today and a fortress tomorrow. This is a very romantic moment for Beth and Coop. It could be the most romantic for them. Buzz says that his kids are hopeless romantics. Even Frank is since he’s taking Natalia away for the weekend. Daisy is impressed. Frank asks if any secret is sacred. Daisy says they have to get going and make this place magical.

The counsellor tells Mallet and Marina this is their official notification. They are going to be added to the waitlist. Marina is so excited this means they will be able to have a baby. She hast to tell her family. Marina thanks the counsellor for believing in them. Mallet looks at the counsellor realizing the real story. Marina is going to go call her family. Mallet will wait to get the paperwork. Marina leaves. Mallet wants the truth. They are never going to get a baby. If it’s his paperwork. No actually it’s Marina’s pass association with the Santos Crime Family. Danny Santos? She doesn’t even talk to him anymore. The counsellor says that is a very huge red flag when a prospective parent is linked with organized crime. Mallet says that is hogwash. She put them on the list so Mallet and Marina could not sue for discrimination. The counsellor says for a person to be associated with the Santos Crime Family and what they did to Springfield. Mallet says that this is not over by a long shot. Mallet heads out. Marina is on the phone. There has been a single car crash. It’s a major accident and Mallet and Marina have been called in as backup. Mallet and Marina head off unaware of what they will find.

Phillip rushes a bleeding Coop into Cedars. Phillip asks if Rick is on call. This man needs a doctor. Phillip pulls out his phone and dials directory assistance. He needs the number for Company. Phillip leaves as Coop bleeds profusely on the table with no doctor around him.

Beth is stoically standing at the top of the aisle ready to meet her fate. Lillian says that her daughter does not have to do this. Beth has to protect the man she loves, his future and the future of his family. Lillian says that Beth is still Alan’s victim then. Beth says she needs her bouquet now. The music starts. Beth has to do this. Bill is at the top of the aisle smelling a flower as he looks at Lizzie. Lizzie walks up. The wedding is starting soon. He really needs to sit down before he falls down drunk. Bill says that wedding make him sick. There is nothing to see her. Bill leaves with Lizzie following him. Rick walks beside Beth. She doesn’t have to do this. She can just turn around and walk out the door. She can’t walk away. She can’t think of herself now. She has to think of her family and Coop. Either Rick walks her down the aisle or she does it herself. Beth starts walking her death march.

Mallet and Marina arrive at the crash and are horrified by the looks. The paramedic walks up and says no victims were found in the car. That is not possible. The other officer has to go and call the chief. Mallet and Marina says this makes no sense. As they walk closer Marina is horrified when she realizes that the car belongs to Buzz.

The phone rings inside of Company but Daisy is still puttering around. The room looks beautiful. Buzz walks out and asks if they heard a car pull up. The phone rings again. Buzz answers. Marina is so relieved to hear her grandfather’s voice. There has been a car accident. The car was totalled and in flames. Frank reacts to the news as Buzz lets the shock sit in. Marina asks who was in the car. Coop was in the car. It’s Coop. Marina is horrified to realize her uncle was inside. Is he o.k. ? Nobody was found at the car. He walked away. He must be heading to the wedding on foot. Mallet questions how anyone could have walked away. Mallet takes the phone from Marina. Frank asks for the specifics as it sinks in with Buzz and Daisy. There was a single car collision. It burst into flames. The fire department finally put out the flames. It’s a horrible mess. It’s not looking good. Marina is in tears.

Coop is still bleeding profusely on his stretcher as doctors run around oblivious to him being there. Coop mumbles Beth’s name.

Bill is on the phone outside the wedding. He’s talking to Billy. The plan to smoke out Cyrus is working perfectly. Cyrus thinks he’s won. Even Lizzie believes his drunken lie. Bill says he has to go. Lizzie is walking over. Bill closes his phone. Lizzie says hand over his keys. He’s too drunk to drive back to the Beacon. He’s just going to walk back. Can he make it there by himself? Bill says that Lizzie should head back in. She may be able to catch the bouquet for her wedding with Cyrus. Lizzie is not marrying Cyrus or anyone else. Doesn’t he get that? Bill kisses Lizzie. She pulls back disgusted.

The wedding begins and Beth walks up the aisle towards Alan. Rick is by her side. He can’t talk her out of it. Alan says sorry that didn’t work. Now Beth will sleep beside him when all is said and done. Beth looks beautiful. The minister starts. Alan says get past the pomp. He wants to say some stuff to his bride. Alan does his vows for his blushing bride. Rick tells Beth to stop this farce. Alan says they have been tested in the past but he’s seen Beth for the real woman she is. He still loves her even still. Alan forgives her for her indiscretions. He still loves her very much. Alan will be her constant when everything in her life hangs in a balance. He will always be watching her. The minister asks if Beth wants to say anything to Alan. I do. The minister say she can say that soon enough. Now if there is anyone who objects to this wedding. Speak now. The door opens to Phillip walking in.

Bill feels sorry for himself. Lizzie agrees. She feels sorry she fell for his drivel again. She thought she knew who he was. Does she? She had no clue. If he ever wants to see her again, he can talk to Cyrus. She’s going to call a cab for him to head home. She’s given Bill enough chances. Is there anything else because they are done for good.

Marina is freaking out at the crime scene. There is no way. It doesn’t make sense. How can anyone walk away from that? Mallet reassures his shell shocked wife. The police are looking for Coop right now. Marina can’t remember her last words to Coop. Mallet starts to look for answers. Marina finds Coop’s cell phone. Is it working? Pull up the call display. The last call out was to Beth. The final call in was from Alan. Oh my God. Marina is horrified by the implications.

Daisy tries to reassure Buzz and Frank that Coop got out. He probably walked to the wedding. They can go to Cedars and check. Buzz says that is good he was there a bit ago for his heart. It all turned out fine. They can go over together. Daisy will stay behind in case Beth and Coop show up. Daisy feels that it will be fine. Buzz calls Frank’s name. Frank is coming. Daisy will be fine alone. Daisy picks up a candle and puts it in the window.

Coop is in an examination room. There is still no doctor around him as he bleeds profusely. He groans then mumbles Beth’s name.

Phillip walks up to Beth in the church. It’s surreal seeing his father marrying his first love. Beth moves towards Phillip unsure if it’s another hallucination. She goes to touch Phillip’s face but faints when she realizes that he is real. Lillian and Rick rush to her. Rick has to go to his car and get his medical bag. Alan says call 911. Phillip holds Beth and tells her to awaken. She slowly does. Alan says it’s good to have his son home. Phillip shakes his head and looks at Beth. Lillian is horrified assuming that Beth is bleeding from the blood on her dress. Phillip says no. That’s him. There was a horrible accident.

Lizzie tries to get a faux drunk Bill up. The cab is almost there. How was the wedding? Lizzie has no clue since she was outside taking care of his sorry butt. Bill says that Lizzie is soft and warm like Roxie. Lizzie says she hopes that Bill is taking care of Roxie better than himself. Lizzie turns and leaves.

Mallet and Marina arrive at Company to find Daisy. Is there any news? Coop isn’t there. Buzz and Frank went over to Cedars just in case. Daisy says that Buzz made the ominous remark that Company was more of a fortress than a castle like he knew. Coop was going to break up the wedding and bring Beth back there. He would have called if something happened. He was on the way to stop the wedding. Marina is horrified and leaves. Daisy looks out the window where the candle is.

Buzz and Frank arrive at Cedars. Frank will try and find out if Coop has been brought in. Buzz walks around and sees his son laying on a gurney alone bleeding. Buzz rushes in. Oh my God Coop. Frank walks over he found a nurse. He sees his brother on the gurney.

Phillip explains that he got to the house and the servants said everyone was here. On the way here Phillip heard the car crash. He was the only one around so he rescued the guy before the car blew up. Alan says that was very brave of his son. He could have been hurt. Phillip says it was Coop. Beth looks at him. Say that again. Not Coop. What happened to him? Beth has to go to him. She has to go. Beth rushes off with Alan following right behind. Phillip is confused what this means. Rick asks if anyone else knows that Phillip is back. Just the servants and the people at the wedding. What happened? Phillip walks out. Alan is telling Beth that he will drive her. What the hell did he do to Coop? Stay away from her. She never wants to see him. Beth rushes off. Lillian looks at Phillip. He should be checked out. He’s fine. Go be with Beth. What is Phillip going to do? Talk to Big Al. Alone? Phillip will be fine. Phillip looks at his father and says lets take a walk.

Lizzie walks back into the abandoned church. All she sees is the bouquet and veil on the ground.

Daisy looks at the candle as Bill enters Company. What is up with t the candle? There was an accident. The car was totalled. They are not sure if Coop ….Bill calms his niece down. Coop will be fine. What is all the fuss about with the restaurant? Daisy asks if her uncle wants a coffee. He can pour one himself. Coop will be fine. Bill will stay with his niece till she gets news.

Frank and Buzz are with Coop. Buzz reassures his son that he is there. Buzz rushes out and calls a doctor. They had no clue who he was. That matters. He is somebody’s son or husband. He’s a person and has a home. What is the doctor thinking. The doctor tells Buzz to leave. He can’t. Frank says it will be fine. Buzz is furious that they just left his son on the gurney like that. They just left him there to die. Mallet and Marina show up. Marina hugs her grandfather. Frank tells Mallet they have no clue how Coop got there. Mallet says they found Coop’s cell phone. The last call was from Alan at the time of the crash. Lillian, Beth and Rick arrive. Buzz tells them to go in and help Coop. Lillian and Rick head in and start to work on Coop. Beth is shell shocked and shivering uncontrollably as everyone waits for news.

Phillip and Alan arrive at Phillip’s grave. It’s good that Phillip is home. Alan has done a lovely job taking care of the grave site or was that his servants. Did Alan ever bring flowers? Alan still can’t believe that his son is back. Phillip looks good. For a dead man. Alan never thought that Phillip would come back. Phillip says he never thought he would see Alan marrying Beth. Alan says a lot has changed in the last couple of years. Phillip says it doesn’t hurt. What ? Where Alan shot him. Phillip looks straight at his father.

Time To Say Goodbye

A weak Coop doesn’t have much time. He has a heartfelt goodbye with everyone in his life. Olivia has an unexpected confession for Bill.

Previously - Natalia telling Olivia that Phillip is back in Springfield. Natalia is reassuring Olivia who is freaking out. Lizzie has Phillip arrested. Coop is awake.

Opening scene at the farmhouse Natalia reassuring Olivia. Olivia says that Natalia is strong and loyal. She believes that Natalia will help her. She does trust her with her life.

Bill is at the SPD when he sees Frank. Bill questions if Phillip is back. Frank says he is. Bill needs to talk to him. Bill says that is not going to happen.

Coop is lying in his hospital bed gasping for breaths when Lizzie enters. Lizzie was mad about Beth and Coop but she didn’t want anything to happen to him. Coop knows she’s just trying to act strong. Lizzie tells Coop she’s sorry for all the stuff she pulled while they were together. She was selfish with what she did with Sarah. She was awful to Coop. He tells her that she has nothing to be sorry about. She knew that this thing with Beth and Coop was going to end badly. Coop is not sorry about Alan. Beth didn’t marry him. Coop go the girl finally.

Lillian walks into the lounge and sees Beth sleeping on a couch. Beth awakens. Lillian says that Coop is in stable condition. Beth needs to get some sleep. Lillian has booked a room at the Beacon since Beth can’t return to the mansion. Beth would never go home to Alan. Coop is fighting for his life because he wanted to protect Beth. Beth does not regret loving Coop. Buzz is the same way. He loves with his whole heart. Lillian gets up. She knows where Buzz is .

Buzz is asleep on Jenna’s grave. He awakens saying it’s crazy what he said to Coop. He can’t believe he told Coop to go after Beth. Buzz is furious with himself. He was not thinking straight. Buzz was supposed to protect his son and Coop is in the hospital fighting for his life. Buzz yells at Jenna and asks where her advice is now. No dreams. No advice. Buzz needs Jenna now. Where is she ?

“ Only love….”

At the farmhouse, Emma is working on her project. Olivia tells Emma to be careful with her stuff. Emma questions if Olivia is mad at her. Natalia says no. She just has a lot on her mind since there is a visitor back in town. Emma says that her Valentines are ready to send off. Olivia says they can’t go today. Emma is confused. Natalia pulls Olivia aside. She can’t keep Emma locked in the house. Phillip has been arrested. He will get out soon enough. it’s a Spaulding specialty. Natalia can go and talk to Frank. Olivia gets all snappy and says that if Natalia wants to go see Frank she doesn’t need an excuse. Just go. Natalia questions where that comment came from. It’s not helping the situation. Olivia is sorry. Let’s go.

Lizzie tells Coop to get better. He will. Coop says that Lizzie will be fine too. Lizzie fudges and says she’s fine. She has no attachments. Coop is not blind. He’s seen the way she looks at Bill. It doesn’t matter. Beth enters. She’s glad that Lizzie is there. Lizzie says they can have some time alone now. Coop says rasping that Beth and Lizzie need to talk and forgive and forget. Beth tells Coop to rest. Coop tells Beth and Lizzie not to let Alan come between them. Lizzie leaves. Coop calls out to her. Beth says she’s sorry. She tells him not to go. Coop lies and says he’s not going anywhere.

Buzz is at the grave. Who is he kidding? He’s not mad at Jenna. He’s mad at himself. It’s easier to be mad at her then himself. Buzz remembers holding Coop as a baby. He felt so much love. Buzz wanted to protect his son. Coop is in a hospital bed now fighting for his life. Buzz did a lousy job. He can’t lose Coop like he lost Jenna. Buzz begs his wife to do something so their son can stay with him. Lillian shows up. She says hi to Buzz and to Jenna. They need to go back to Cedars now. Coop has been asking for his father. He’s awake? He’s talking. Buzz is so happy he hugs Lillian. They head off for Cedars.

Beth walks outside of Cedars. She pleads with God not to take Coop away from her. He’s a good man. They were going to go away together and have a life. She begs God not to do this. Please. Lizzie walks up and sees her mother. She saw Phillip at the crash site. He was sorry. It felt like the Phillip before he took her. He gave her the old toy panda “ Sammy “ for Sarah. How is he? Was he good or scary? He acted good to her but she couldn’t take the chance. She called the police. Beth can’t believe that Lizzie did that. Phillip was a good man when they were married. Lizzie wasn’t sure if it was a trick. Lizzie says that Beth is a joke. She was all about Coop in the hospital now she’s gushing about Phillip again. She never changes. Alan, Coop and Phillip. Beth is so fickle. Did Lizzie forget the last time that Alan saw him he shot Phillip. Alan was blackmailing her into marrying him. Beth doesn’t want to argue with her daughter. They need each other right now.

Bill shows up at Olivia’s place. She’s drinking a glass of wine. He knows that she’s freaked out about Phillip being back. He is not going to touch Emma. Bill is not going to let anything happen. Olivia has Bill and Natalia on her side. Olivia impulsively kisses Bill.

Frank walks in and sees Coop. He looks good. Coop says that the doctors are talking about making him bionic. Frank says that Coop should see his bedroom at home. There are flowers and cards everywhere. He’s a very popular man. Coop asks where Buzz is. Buzz is somewhere harassing the doctors. Coop tells his brother to look after Buzz. Frank says that Buzz may appear soft but he’s a rock on the inside. Coop again pleads with Frank to watch over Buzz. He’s going to need to turn to Frank. Frank says that is a two man job so Coop is just going to have to stay around. He is going to get better. Buzz shows up with Lillian and smiles. Coop can’t go and scare them again. Coop questions why his father looks more stressed out than he does? Coop asks what is going on.

Lizzie and Beth are outside. Lizzie tells her mother to wake up. Phillip kidnapped her children. How can she forgive Phillip? Beth remembers the good times. Lizzie calls her mother fickle. No wonder Lizzie is so messed up look at who she has for a mother. Lizzie says that her mother is weak and starry eyed in love. Phillip loves her. He wants to make it o.k. Lizzie says that love is a delusion. It’s a frivolous thing. All that happens is you get hurt but the people you care about. Beth tells her daughter not to give up on love. If Beth had she never would have found Coop. Lizzie says great example. Look how that turned out. Lizzie says both of the men she has loved failed her miserably.

Olivia pulls back from her kiss with Bill. Wow that was a blast from the past. Olivia just wants to feel close to someone. It wasn’t good? Bill says the kiss was great. She wants all of this to be o.k. Phillip is back because of her. Why does Olivia say that? Emma’s life at the farmhouse. Bill says that Emma looks happy and lives with Olivia and her friend Natalia. “ Friend “ is the problem because not everyone sees it that way. Emma did a project about her family and their living arrangement entitled My Two Mommies. Bill gets it now. Alan lashed out at them after then and then sent Doris after them. Now Phillip is back. Bill says that would be a new low even for Alan. Bill says that it will be fine. She’ll have to explain to Phillip but what would she say. It’s nothing. It’s just a misunderstanding or is it …. Olivia says she never looked at Natalia that way before until now. Olivia says she never saw this relationship coming. They click on so many levels and it scares the heck out of Olivia. Bill’s not saying anything. He’s not bothered. Surprised maybe. She’s not really sure what their relationship is and where it’s going. Olivia can’t believe she just said that out loud. She laughs. It must be the wine talking. Bill should just forget they ever had that conversation. Olivia leaves the room and calls Bill. He says sure.

Buzz tells Coop he was out at Jenna’s grave. Buzz told her to watch over him. Buzz is fine. Coop winces in pain. Coop tells his father to slow down. They don’t have time for stories. They can’t waste time because Coop is not sure how much he has left. Coop tells his father they should talk just in case. Buzz says that Coop is not a quitter. Coop knows that but he needs to do this. What Buzz needs to do is find a doctor. Coop has to tell him this before…Coop loves his father. Most of his life Buzz was just this man who sent him a card at Christmas. Buzz says he should have been there more. Buzz was always there even if not in person. Coop is glad he came over from England. He got to know his father finally. Coop is very proud of his father. Buzz can’t do it. He can’t say goodbye to his son. Coop loved their own little Cooper family. Buzz is in tears. Coop will be fine. Buzz says he has to go get a doctor now.

Olivia is at home drinking a tea when Natalia shows up. She could have stayed at the hospital. Olivia is just relaxing. Phillip is in jail. How is Frank? Natalia brought the Coopers some sandwiches. It was hard to be there. Olivia realizes it was nearly a year ago that Gus died. Olivia shouldn’t have let Natalia go to the hospital alone. It was another person in a car crash this time. It was a year ago that she let Olivia have Gus’ heart. Natalia wanted to come home and be with Olivia. Olivia is not going anywhere. How is she? Scared and confused. What can Natalia make her for lunch to keep her strength up? Olivia questions why. She has to face Phillip eventually right.

Lizzie is in tears when Bill shows up. She tells him to just go away. Bill hugs Lizzie close trying to soothe her tears. What is she supposed to do? Find a way to open her heart and forgive the people who hurt her. Bill says that Lizzie can do that. She has to just stop fighting Bill then they can be together again.

Buzz says they need to call Rick Bauer now. They need a doctor to see Coop. Frank tells his father to calm down. Coop is not acting like himself at all. What does Buzz mean? Coop is saying that his time is up. It’s just the exhaustion from the surgery nothing more. Coop was trying to say goodbye. Buzz can’t say goodbye yet.

Beth walks in and sees Coop in his bed. She tried to reach Lizzie. Coop says it will take time. He can’t give up on her. Lizzie is so angry that she’s guarding her heart. Beth tells coop to rest. Beth smiles. Did he ever tell her how thankful he was for what she brought into his life? He never saw her coming. She has to promise Coop to never forget who she is inside. She can be whomever she wants to be. She needs to do this if he is not around to tell her. Beth refuses to listen. He is going to beat this and be fine. Coop says that he has to tell Beth what Buzz couldn’t hear. Sometimes you can just feel things that are coming. Some things you never expect to find. She glad she went for it. Coop taught her so much. All he did was tell her to follow her heart. Beth tells Coop not to go yet. He has to stay with her. Beth is so much stronger than she realizes. Beth says she’s always played the victim but through Coop’s eyes she got a huge gift. He tells her to promise him she will never go back to Alan. How could she when she loves Coop? Coop questions what that last thing was. Beth loves Coop. Could she say that one more time? She’s not going to regret anything with him other than the next smile, kiss. Coop has a note for Beth. He wants her to read it after…. Coop winces in pain. He fights to hold on. Coop tells Beth she has to find Buzz now. She has to hurry. He has to say goodbye to his father. Beth heads outside and finds Frank. He has to find Buzz now. Coop needs him. Beth sits and sees the note. Lillian comes up. Coop is stable. Beth says he’s saying goodbye. He knows that he’s dying. Lillian says she got a call from Payton’s nanny. Beth needs to call the Nanny back. Lillian is going to go get Rick. Beth looks at the note and breaks down sobbing.

Olivia is at the house. Lunch smells good but there is way too much salt in it. Is Natalia trying to kill her? Yes, she needs the rent money. Natalia can go with Olivia when she sees Phillip. Olivia says that is not good. Phillip can turn nasty on people that cross him. Natalia has dealt with the Spauldings before. What are they going to tell Phillip about Emma and their life together? They are two people who love Emma. Olivia pushes two people who are what to each other? Natalia is taken aback and says that Olivia is just worried. If Olivia needs her all she has to do is ask. Olivia hugs Natalia.

Lizzie is not happy that Phillip is back. Bill says that Phillip can help her through all of this. Lizzie says everything is screwed up. Bill and Lizzie, Beth and Coop, Phillip even Alan. Bill says that Lizzie has to stay away from Alan when she is so vulnerable. She should probably also stay away from Cyrus. Lizzie can’t believe that Bill would bring that up now. He’s not comforting her. He trying to turn her against the two people who she can trust. Bill has hurt her before. Cyrus and Alan have protected her throughout this. Alan really? Go take a look at Coop. Lizzie tells Bill to leave her alone or else she will calls security. She tells him to take a cab after he heads to the bar again. There have been enough car crashes today. Lizzie leaves.

Buzz goes into Coops room. Coop is not going anywhere. Coop says that Buzz told him stories when he was little. Can he do it again? Buzz starts telling the story of Coop’s life. Twenty years ago Jenna brought him back a gift. A little miracle. When Buzz lost her he went a bit crazy and he couldn’t appreciate the miracle that he had. Coop tells his father to finish the story soon please. A few years later Buzz had a heart attack and despite everything he had done. He was blessed by a beautiful son who came and rescued him. He had Coop back in his life. Coop rescued him. He will always be grateful of the miracle of his son. Coop says that was a great story. He thanks his father. Coop passes out. Buzz says no. Coop can’t go yet. Coop can’t go. Coop wake up and says that he always wanted to be just like his father. Coop passes out and the machine alarm rings as Coop’s heart stops. Buzz yells out No. He yells for a doctor. The doctors rush in. Lillian tries to comfort Buzz. Buzz is shaking as he watches the doctors try to bring Coop back to life.

Olivia Finds Out Phillip Is Back

Phillip tries to reassure a very nervous Lizzie. She ends up calling the cops on him. Phillip gives her a baby present for Sarah. Olivia’s worst fears come true when she finds out that Phillip is back. Natalia reassures Olivia that everything will be fine. Marina has a Valentine’s gift for Mallet. Frank is looking everywhere for Buzz. The Coopers and Beth all have a chance to talk to Coop.

Previously - Lizzie sees the pictures of herself and Phillip. She finds out that Bill found Phillip. Frank offers to take Natalia away for Valentines. Lizzie says she doesn’t need nor want her father. Bill doesn’t have to save her.


Olivia walks down the stairs to the living room in the farmhouse. She sees Natalia with a large bag. Olivia asks if she is going somewhere. She’s going away with Frank for Valentines. Frank’s friend has a house in the mountains. Olivia bluffs and says she’s fine with the idea. She’ll help Emma with her Valentine’s project. She doesn’t need Natalia’s help this weekend. Natalia is mad that she forgot about Emma’s project. She was going to help Emma drop off Valentines.

Daisy is sitting with Ashlee in the hospital. She has no clue what time it is. Does Mallet? They are not sure why they are keeping Coop in postop for so long. Frank shows up. Has anyone seen Buzz? Daisy says not since Buzz brought the food to the hospital.

Mallet walks over to Marina who is waiting on news. He has to be o.k. He got her a Valentine’s card. She smiles and opens it up. She reads the message inside. This is a get well card. It’s all they had in the gift shop. He did take the time to write the message inside. Marina loves Mallet so much.

Lillian sees Beth and offers her a cup of coffee. Can she get her something to eat? Lillian reassures her daughter saying that Coop will be fine. He’s young and strong and made it through surgery. Beth tells Lillian that she saw Phillip at the house. He didn’t say much. She did a lot of the talking. He seemed like himself. He seemed like the man that she loved all those years ago. Lillian says a lot has changed since then. Beth is so scared for Coop. Lillian holds Beth as she breaks down into tears. She shaking like a leaf. She was willing to marry Alan to save Coop. Coop has to be fine. Lillian will go check on him. Beth is shaking grasping her hands pleading that Coop will be alright.


Lizzie walks up to the crash site. She looks at the damage. Phillip arrives . Lizzie sees him. He says hi sweetheart. It’s o.k. Was he stalking her? He tried to call her but she changed her number. Why is he here? He couldn’t stay away from his family anymore. He had to see her again. Lizzie tells her father to stay away from her. She starts to walk away.

“ Only love…”

Phillip touches Lizzie’s arm and tells her not to leave. She’s terrified of him. He tried to kidnap her last time. Coop was the one that saved her. That used to be his car. How did Phillip know where she was? Was he following her? Did he come back for the wedding? Did he do something? Where is her family? He acts like it’s nothing. He turned on her. Phillip knows that and regrets it more than he can say. He doesn’t expect Lizzie to forgive him. Lizzie knew what was happening the last time. The other children didn’t understand. The day she was born he promised he would be the one to protect her and he was the one that turned on her. Phillip tells Lizzie he’s not there to say sorry. He wants to prove to her that he has changed. Lizzie tells her father how after he died she had these nightmares that he was coming after her. When she found out that he was alive, she was terrified. She wished he was dead. She wishes he was still dead.

Emma and Olivia are working on Valentine cards. They are very nice. Where is Natalia ? Natalia is going on a trip. Without them? She was going to help with Valentines. It will be more fun just the two of them. Emma wants Natalia to stay. Olivia says she wants to keep this felt heart. Olivia shows Emma that he heart is beating strong. She loves her daughter so much.

Frank checks all over the hospital for Buzz. Daisy says he probably just wanted some alone time. Frank is going to keep looking. This was left at the front desk for Daisy. It’s a present from Grady. Why did he not come inside and give it to her? Daisy puts the gift aside. She will open it up later. Daisy is shutting Grady out just like Ashlee did with Coop. Daisy doesn’t want to cause anymore trouble with her family. They are asking for trouble if Grady shows up. Ashlee leaves for a moment.

Marina tells Mallet she didn’t get him a card. She got him a gift instead. Mallet is impressed. She was passing the gift shop and saw it. It reminded her that they did get some good news today. The mug says “ Kiss me I’m a new dad.” They are on the list for their baby. It’s the bright spot in all of this. It’s what is keeping her going. Mallet says it must be pretty popular in the maternity ward. Mallet and Marina kiss. Mallet hugs his wife but it’s obvious he’s worried about Marina.

Lillian questions if Beth has talked to Lizzie or James about their father being back. They should hear it from Beth rather than being shocked. Beth is only worried about Coop right now. She loves him. Did she tell Phillip? They didn’t talk that much. All that matters is Coop. Frank walks in. How is Coop? There is no change in his condition. Frank asks if Beth has seen Buzz. She did see him. He said he had to take care of something earlier. Frank thanks her as he continues to look for his father.

Lizzie looks at her father and asks what he thinks she was going to do. Give him a big hug and go back to where they were before. Phillip asks what he needs to do so he can be part of his daughter’s life. Why now? Phillip was sick before. He needed to time to get well so he could take care of his family. He knows she’s had a rough time. He would not get it. She doesn’t understand why he came back. He wanted to come back a million times. He wants to make it right now. Lizzie is the best part of him. Nothing hurts him more than what he did to her. He knows he’s asking a lot for a second chance. He has not clue where to start to make it up to her.

Olivia and Emma are working when Natalia comes in. The cards look great. She can help for a bit and make the fringe again. She has a couple of minutes before she has to meet Frank. Emma says she wants to make something special for Stephen. Who is he? She met him at school. She gets this weird butterfly feeling when she sees him. Olivia knows that type of feeling as she looks over at Natalia. Natalia suggests drawing a butterfly on the card. She can help Emma. Just then Natalia’s phone rings. Natalia says hi. She will be right out the door in a moment. Frank says he’s at the hospital. Is he alright? Coop was in a horrible car accident.

Frank is worried because this is what Buzz did last time when it got hard. He just left. It’s what he does. Daisy calls out to the family and tells them that Coop is being wheeled out of post op. They all watch him.


Lizzie pulls out he cell phone discreetly and makes a phone call. Where is Beth? She’s at the hospital. Beth and Coop? Beth and Alan? It’s a lot to take in. Lizzie doesn’t feel sorry for him. Phillip doesn’t expect her to be. Phillip said that Beth did mention that Lizzie was kidnapped a bit ago. Phillip didn’t screw it up this time. Someone took care of the job this time. Does she know who? Lizzie doesn’t want to talk about it. Phillip is not going to let his daughter get hurt again. Lizzie tells her father to just leave her alone. Phillip walks to the back of the car and pulls out a box. He hands it over to Lizzie. Just look at it. Phillip leaves.

Phillip is at the gazebo. Lizzie finds him there. How does he still have the bear? She had it when she was little. It was still in the attic. Why did he give it to her? It’s for Sarah. Beth told him that he has a granddaughter that Lizzie had to send away. Phillip is so sorry that she had to do that. He wasn’t there to keep his daughter and granddaughter safe. Maybe she would want him to try and find her. How old is she? She’s almost 2 years old. Does she look like Lizzie? No she looks more like Jonathon but Lizzie hasn’t see Sarah in over a year. He saved that for her. Lizzie used to sleep with the bear and take it everywhere. He remembers he was so broken hearted when Lizzie came to him and said she was to old for a bear. Phillip put it away along with some other stuff. Phillip asks if he could find Sarah for Lizzie? He would do that for her? Of course. He knows what it is like to be kept away from his daughter. Just then Frank calls out and tells Phillip to put his hands in the air. He’s under arrest. Phillip looks at Lizzie.

Everyone is waiting for news on Coop at the hospital. Lillian says he made it out of surgery and he’s stable which is good news. He hasn’t awaken yet. They are waiting for him to awaken so they can do more work. Until he awakens there is nothing they can do. They can see Coop now. Two people at a time. Beth says that family should go first. Daisy and Ashlee head in to the room with Coop. he’s such a hero to Daisy. He broke up a wedding to save the woman who he loves. He will always be a hero to Ashlee he protected her while she was in juvie. Daisy says he’s good at flying under the radar with his family. Ashlee is puzzled. Daisy says that Coop was always the one who was just there for her. Buzz and Frank had rules. Harley well she was Harley. Marina was like an older sister. Coop was just there for her. He would do anything. Daisy tells her uncle to wake up. The all want him to wake up. Ashlee says that Coop told her once that you write your own happy ending. Now is Coop’s time to do that himself. Daisy says it’s time to let Mallet and Marina see Coop. They turn to leave and Coop calls their names. Hey.

Natalia is on the phone with Frank. Coop was in a horrible car accident. That is really bad. Can she do something to help? Olivia is right there. Natalia will tell her. Frank is at the hospital because Coop was in an accident. He had to leave to make an arrest. Phillip Spaulding is back in town.

Ashlee and Daisy come out and say that Coop is awake and talking. They are going to go find the doctors. Beth says she can wait. Mallet and Marina can see Coop next. Mallet and Marina walk into Coop’s room. Marina walks over and kisses Coop on the forehead. Hey, how is he felling? Like a truck is sitting on his chest. He had to have surgery but he made it through. Where is Buzz? Buzz just stepped out for a bit. Marina jokingly says that when Coop gets out the hospital he’s going to have some heavy traffic citations to deal with. Marina and Mallet may just keep the money aside to go on a big trip to Malibu. Marina says actually the whole family should go on the trip they were talking about last year. They should do it for real. Coop will have time off on Spring break. Buzz hasn’t had a vacation in forever. They can make it a family trip. It would really be great. Mallet can even take Frank surfing. Does Mallet know how? Not really. They can do the trip when Coop is ready to. Marina can’t wait to tell Coop the good news. He’s the first in the family to know. They made the adoption list. Coop says that is great. The two of them will be great parents. He says congratulations. Marina says he may not be saying that when he gets to babysit. They are going to let him get some sleep now. Coop tells Marina to make sure to take that trip. Marina says it will be all of them. Coop is going to make it. Coop loves Marina. She loves him as well. They will see him soon. Coop asks about Beth. Marina agrees to go get Beth. Beth is in the waiting room. Coop just went back to sleep but he did say Beth’s name before. She can go see him now. Beth thanks Marina for letting her. Beth heads off. Beth enters the room.

Daisy and Ashlee are looking around Lillian said she was going to get Coop’s doctor. Ashlee says that Coop woke to her voice right. Daisy says they were both talking to him. He woke up to Ashlee’s voice right. What is going on with Ashlee. It takes a moment like this to make you realize how much of a fool you have been. The best part of Ashlee’s life was with Coop. She was a fool to break it off with him. She always assumed that they would find their way back to each other. Daisy realizes that Ashlee is talking not just about regret but also a future. Ashlee spent so much time pushing Coop away. Does Ashlee still love Coop? She never stopped.

Olivia is freaking out. She has to get Emma out of town. Phillip kidnapped her before. Olivia thought she was never going to see Emma again. Now he’s back. Frank arrested him. Like that matters. He will get a way with it just like Alan always does. Phillip is not only ruthless but also dangerous. He bulldozed down the house where his son was living. It’s why Gus was rebuilding Harley’s house. He believed that none of the mothers of his children were fit to raise them. It’s no coincidence that Alan comes to the farmhouse and judge their life and now Phillip is back. He’s going to try and take Emma away. Olivia is not going to let that happen again. She would sooner kill Phillip for real.

Phillip tells Frank he must have been waiting a long time to do this. Coop is in surgery right now. They have no clue how Coop made it to the hospital. Lizzie looks at her father. Phillip was just driving by. Frank realizes that it was Phillip that pulled his brother out of that burning car and take to the hospital. Phillip tells Frank to move on with the arrest. Lizzie doesn’t have to see this. Phillip doesn’t blame Lizzie for calling the police. He understands why she did it. Frank says that Phillip is under the arrest of Emma Spencer, Jude Bauer, Zach Spaulding, James Spaulding and Lizzie Spaulding. Lizzie is in tears. Phillip says he loves his daughter as he’s being hauled away.

Beth sees Coop in bed. Is it still Valentines Day? Good then he can send her some flowers still. All she wants is right here. He’s a crazy man. Beth is worth it. Beth kisses Coop.

Olivia is upstairs with Natalia right behind her. Natalia’s bags are already packed. She can take Emma out of the country. She can then call Olivia to come and meet them. She has to get a gun first. She has no clue what to do. She’s just so scared. Natalia knows. She lightly touches Olivia’s hands and grasps them. She looks at her and says that she is working her heart up. She has to be careful with that. She’s going to scare Emma. She can’t make a right decision right now. Natalia lovingly touches Olivia’s face. Natalia will take care of them. They are not going anywhere. They have Natalia now. She’ll be strong for them. She promises that neither of them are going to get hurt. Olivia just has to trust her. Just take a deep breath and trust her.

Lizzie is sitting in her bedroom. She looks over at the panda bear. She hugs it close and falls on her bed. She starts crying.

Phillip walks into his cell with Frank behind him. Frank leaves. Phillip looks around and smirks welcome Home Phillip.

Bill and Billy are in the Beacon. Bill questions if there is any news on Coop. Coop is still in surgery. The Coopers are pretty torn up by the news. Bill says it’s a shock. One minute everything is fine then the next it’s not. Billy tells Bill that Coop was going to stop Beth’s wedding with Alan. Billy says that Coop and Beth had something going. Bill says that Lizzie must be shocked. Lizzie’s mom with her ex boyfriend. It would be a lot of her to find out.

Lizzie walks into Company and sees Daisy working. She seems to have lost her family at Alan and Beth’s wedding. She can’t find anyone. Where is Buzz? He’s probably at the hospital. Lizzie is shocked. Is Buzz alright? Was Lizzie at the wedding at all? Lizzie says that Bill was there drunk as a skunk. She followed him outside. Daisy doesn’t think that Beth married Alan. Why not? Coop must have done something stupid. Lizzie knew that this was going to happen. Lizzie has no clue then. Coop was on the way to break up the wedding in Buzz’s car. He was driving erratically and lost control. He was in a horrible car crash. Lizzie is stunned by the news. How bad is Coop? He’s in surgery right now.

Beth attempts to blot the blood off of her wedding dress. Rick arrives. He tells her to head home and rest. Beth says she can’t seem to get the stain out. It just looks worse. Coop is still in surgery. He will be there for a while. Beth is going to stay put and wait. Beth says this was not supposed to happen. She was going to marry Alan to protect Coop and his family. He wasn’t supposed to get hurt. Rick says it was an accident. Beth is not so sure. It was good that Phillip rescued Coop. Why is Phillip back? Rick is not sure. He hasn’t been in contact with Phillip for a long time. Beth doesn’t believe Rick.

Buzz tries to attack Alan but Phillip stops him. Phillip tells Buzz to calm down. Buzz is not surprised that Phillip is there defending his father. He always does. Why is Phillip even there? Is he part of the reason behind the accident. Is he Alan’s alibi? Buzz looks down and sees blood on Phillip’s hands. He was the one that saved Coop. Coop said it was a person in a red shirt. Was it Phillip ? Did he save Coop?

“ Only love ….”


Billy walks around Bill’s room and sees the big bottle of booze. He’s not drinking this. It’s just for show. He always pours it down the drain. Bill needs it just in case Lizzie’s shows up. They have to keep thinking he’s a worthless drunk so he can get the evidence that Cyrus was behind Lizzie’s kidnapping. Why not tell Lizzie his plan? She would never believe him. She would never understand why he went to the mountain to find Phillip but instead found his memory? It sounds like a crock. He can’t ask her to trust him. He has to prove that she can. He has to prove that Cyrus was the kidnapper. Bill says he was the main suspect until the building with the evidence went up in smoke. Billy says this is a dangerous idea making people think he’s a drunk. Billy still has not lived down that reputation in work. Bill says he’s going to keep doing it. He’s pretty stubborn. Must make him a Lewis.

Rick tells Beth that he has not seen Phillip in a very long time. They have no clue why he came back to town. Is he normal? Rick is not his doctor but he’s not the same as he was last time. He seems better which would be incredible. He only chatted with Phillip for 5 minutes. Beth no clue how she feels about Phillip being home. He tried to kidnap the kids before. Rick knows because the same thing happened to Jude. Rick says that he helped Phillip after he got shot because he believed that his friend had changed. Rick says that Phillip is still their best friend and they love him.

Buzz pulls back and sees the blood on Phillip’s hands. Phillip did what any person should have. He had no clue it was Coop till he pulled him out of the car. Is Phillip hurt? The car was burning. Phillip is fine. Alan says that it’s Coop’s own fault that he is in the hospital. He was foolish and reckless to try and come after Alan and his wife. Coop was a fool to think he could have changed things. Phillip should have just kept driving and let Coop burn. Phillip looks at his father and steps back. Buzz walks up and punches Alan in the mouth.

Buzz tells Alan that there is no way that he will get away with Coop’s accident. Phillip tells Buzz to back off. Phillip tells his father to leave. Alan will head inside. He would call the cops since Buzz is trespassing but all the Coopers are cops. Phillip again tells his father to leave. Phillip will take care of it. Buzz says it’s not over. What is Phillip doing back in Springfield? Phillip knows he was gone a long time. Phillip knows he was off track the last time. Off track? Buzz chuckles at the understatement. Phillip is not the same man he was last time when he left. Who is he then? Phillip tells Buzz to go back to the hospital and be with his son. Phillip asks if Harley is o.k. He wants Buzz to tell her that he’s not going to hurt her. He just wants to see Zach again. Buzz laughs and says that Harley is gone. She’s halfway around the world. Buzz is glad that Harley missed this reunion. Buzz warns Phillip that Alan can’t hide forever.

Daisy is working at Company when Ashlee shows up. It’s awful news. Thank Daisy for calling her. How is Coop? He’s in surgery. They can close Company and head over. Daisy just wants to wait and take care of the place. Ashlee realizes that Daisy is avoiding her going over. Ashlee knew that Coop had moved on with a new woman. She is probably over there worried about Coop. It’s probably not the best spot to meet at the hospital. Daisy says that she needs to tell Ashlee who it is since Ashlee knows her. It’s Beth. Beth? Ashlee doesn’t know any Beth. Daisy says it’s Lizzie’s mother Beth. It sounds weird but Coop seemed really happy with her. Ashlee read about Beth and Alan’s wedding in the newspaper. Coop was on his way to break it up when he had his car accident. Daisy had this romantic table for two set up for them. It was supposed to be so romantic now Coop is in surgery. Nothing is turning out right. Bill and Lizzie are a mess. Lizzie won’t even talk to him. Ashlee questions where is Grady? Daisy didn’t have a chance to call him. She called Ashlee. Ashlee was connected to Coop just like Daisy is connected to Grady. Daisy says it would be too hard for her family to deal with him as well as Coop. It’s way too familiar with the accident last year that killed Tammy. Alan is involved again. It’s not really good for Grady to be around.


Phillip walks into the mansion and looks around. He smiles. He walks over and sees an old picture of himself, Beth and Lizzie. He picks it up for a second then puts it back on the mantle. He walks upstairs to the study. He looks over the balcony at the whole living room.

Lizzie arrives at Cyrus’ place. She calls out his name. Is he home? Just then she hears a sound and sees Bill falling out an open window on the side of the house. What the heck is Bill doing inside Cyrus’ place?

Beth walks into the house still in her wedding dress. She walks over and pours a glass of scotch. She takes a long sip then feels someone watching her. She looks up and sees Phillip.

Ashlee is helping Daisy work at Company. Ashlee wants to help. Daisy says she doesn’t have to do it. She can go and check on Coop. Daisy can go instead. Daisy promised Buzz she would watch over the place. Ashlee doesn’t want it to be weird between her and Beth. Ashlee says she’s the reason that it ended with Coop. She always thought that maybe down the line….Daisy says that a lot changed with the surgery. Coop will be fine. Maybe this thing with Beth will not work out and Ashlee can have a second chance. Coop will be fine. Buzz walks in and says that Coop is fine. He has to go and make some food. Ashlee is going to go over to the hospital. Daisy is going to watch over her grandfather. Buzz works in the kitchen. He pulls out some potatoes and starts working. People are not going to expect him to feed them. Buzz says what about the people who are waiting over at Company. They have to eat. Buzz could have stopped the accident. He didn’t have to let Coop go. He told Coop to go. Buzz gave him his damn keys. He told him to follow his heart and reach out to the woman he loved. Daisy thinks that is very romantic. Buzz isn’t so sure now.

Alan walks into Cedars. Rick can’t believe that Alan would have the nerve to show his face around there. Is he coming to rub it in Coop’s face. No Alan wants to talk about Phillip. Phillip always turns to Rick first. Rick has no clue why Phillip is back. Did he come back to crash the wedding? Rick has only talked to Phillip for a couple of minutes. Alan wants to know everything that Phillip told him. Rick and Phillip have been through a lot together. He is still his best friend. Alan asks if Phillip is sane again? Rick is not his doctor but so he can’t say for sure. Rick leaves and Alan follows.

Beth sees Phillip as he walks down the stairs. She doesn’t have to be afraid of him. She’s not. Why did she take off at the hospital then? She wasn’t ready to see him yet. She even knew back then that he was alive. She knew he would come back. He just never expected to come back on the day she was marrying his father. Beth says that Phillip has no right to judge her. A lot has changed since he left. Phillip heard. Beth and Coop? Beth and Alan along with Payton? Beth and Rick? She’s not ready to talk about that yet. Does Lizzie know that she’s involved with her ex boyfriend? Lizzie knows. Beth needed him. She did what she had the last couple of years to survive and protect their children. They needed Phillip. She knows she’s made a lot of wrong choices. Phillip says after what he put Beth through he’s got no reason got judge her. Phillip tells Beth she can’t take all the blame. Alan has always wanted her. Phillip says that is wrong on so many levels yet it is very Alan at the same time. Beth says she was going to marry Alan to save Coop. She never meant to hurt him. She has made a lot of mistakes. Was Coop a mistake? No not at all. He made her feel alive and happy and now he’s in the hospital fighting for his life. How is James? He’s been sent away. We … Alan decided it was best. He’s at Lincoln Prep School. Phillip says he should have been there to protect Lizzie. Beth says that Lizzie really needed him. Beth tried to do the right thing with her daughter and reign Alan in. When Lizzie had the baby…. Phillip gets up. Lizzie had a baby. He’s a grandfather. How did the baby die? They thought the baby was dead but Sarah is alive. Who is the father? Jonathon Randall, one of Reva’s sons. Jonathon took Sarah away to protect her from Alan. Beth didn’t do a good job at all while he was gone. Beth tries to leave but Phillip stops her. She never has to apologize to him about anything. He’s sorry he left her to deal with everything after what he did. Phillip pulls Beth into his arms and comforts her. He lightly strokes her hair. Phillip wants to take Beth somewhere. He takes her up the stairs. She still has blood on her dress.


Lizzie asks Bill what he stole from Cyrus’ place. He didn’t steal anything. Why was he there then? To plant evidence on Cyrus. He wants Lizzie to find it so she will doubt Cyrus. She trusts Cyrus right now more than anyone. Bill can’t seem to get why she trusts Cyrus more than Bill. Bill starts to say something but stops. Lizzie starts rummaging through Bill’s pockets to make sure he didn’t steal anything. She instead find the pic of herself and Phillip when she was younger. Where did he get this? Bill leaves. Lizzie runs after him. She asked him a question . Where did he get the pictures? Has he been in contact with Phillip? Phillip left it behind at the cabin. Bill thought it was a good idea to find Phillip with the way that Alan was controlling Lizzie. Maybe Phillip could knock some sense into his daughter. Bill found out where Phillip was living but just missed him. He found the pictures instead. Lizzie didn’t ask him to do that. Bill was desperate. He though it was a good idea. Bill says that Lizzie has been different since the kidnapping. He doesn’t have to save her. She’s fine. He can go back to his drinking and stay the heck out of her life. Lizzie turns and leaves.

Buzz walks out of the kitchen with a box of food. Daisy asks if he meant what he said about doubting if he did the right thing by telling Coop to follow his heart. Coop is in surgery now because of it. He encouraged him to go after the woman he loved. Buzz keeps on seeing his face so alive so proud now… Buzz picks up the box of food and leaves for Cedars.

Alan walks after Rick at Cedars. Alan asks what exactly Phillip told him. Phillip pulled a gun on Alan at the grave site. He looked like he was going to shoot Alan. Rick quips it’s not the first time someone has tried to kill Alan on his wedding day. Alan wants to know if Phillip is all there. Rick says that Phillip may have brought the gun for self defence since Alan did shoot him the last time they saw each other. Alan says Phillip actually thanked him for doing it. What has Phillip been doing? Rick would know more than anyone else. Rick says they have spoken for a couple of times. Phillip had to finish some things. Why did he come home on Alan’s wedding to Beth? Is that a chance happening? No it was because of Lizzie. Bill came to Rick asking about Phillip. Rick suggested a couple of places where Phillip could be. If Bill is the reason that Phillip is home. It’s a good thing so far. Phillip saved Coop and Beth from marrying Alan on the same day. He’s there to clean up some mistakes. Rick says that is enough so far that his friend is back.

Phillip leads Beth to her bedroom. He wants to help her. There is still blood on her dress. She can take care of herself. Phillip knows that. He just wants to help her. Phillip starts to undo the wedding dress. He thought about all of his kids while he was gone. Rick kept giving him updates but it became too painful after a bit. James must be a man now. He looks so much like his father. Phillip still can’t believe that his daughter had a baby. He can’t wrap his head around that concept. She’s been through a lot. She was kidnapped a couple of months ago. She wasn’t hurt physically. There were no people captured though Bill was a prime suspect. Does Beth think that Bill could have done it? Beth doesn’t think so. Phillip should have been there to protect his daughter. He pulls out a lavender robe for Beth. He helps her pull it on. Is he going to stay this time? Phillip pulls back. She should get back to the hospital. He will hope for the best for Coop. Phillip leaves and Beth breaks down sobbing.

Buzz is at the hospital with the food. He’s lost. Beth calls his name. There is no news yet. Is Buzz all alone? No, Marina Mallet and Frank are all in the cafeteria. Rick comes out. Coop is out of surgery and in recover. He’s resting. There was a lot of damage to his liver and internal bleeding. They tried to stop as much of the bleeding as they could. Coop is in critical condition. When will he wake up? Rick is not sure. He will try to stop in and check on Buzz. All they can do is wait now. Buzz turns to leave. Where is he going? What is Beth supposed to say to his family.

Alan is walking down the street and sees Bill. Bill is sorry he missed the wedding. It was eventful. Beth came to her senses and not marry Alan. Not yet. No, Bill got what he wanted. Phillip is back.

Lizzie looks over the crash site. Phillip walks behind her. He looks at his daughter and says hi sweetheart. Lizzie is stunned to see her father standing across from her.

Preview: Phillip saying hi sweetheart again. Olivia finds out that Phillip is back. Olivia vows to kill Phillip for real this time. Lizzie tells her father she wishes he was still dead.
