Dayna's In-Depth Recap: Episode 15584, January 6, 2009

Dinah's In Danger

Previously : Lizzie furious at Doris. Vanessa and Dinah talking about Shayne. Dinah phoning Shayne about her crappy day. Bill telling Lizzie the truth.

Out by the lake, Jeffrey is running flat out. He stops and gasps air. He notices something shiny in the mud and finds Shayne's medal.

At Remy's place, Shayne is over pushing himself while pumping iron. He stops and grimaces in pain the starts up again.

Reva, Jeffrey and Buzz are at Company. Jeffrey is all soaking wet from his shower. Reva doesn't want to get wet. Billy gets a phone call and leaves. Reva and Jeffrey continue talking. Reva says she's fine. Shayne is around a corner. She can feel it after Christmas. Jeffrey questions if Reva is really sure about that.

At Remy's place, Shayne continues to pump iron when there is a knock on the door. It's Dinah. Dinah questions if Shayne heard her. Shayne did. She's thought about him since his kiss. Shayne pulls off his shirt for a second to wipe off the sweat then puts it back on again.

At the Spaulding Mansion, Lizzie comes downstairs and sits at Alan's desk. She looks again at the disaster of a press conference. She turns off the video and shakes her head. She heads outside with a cup of coffee. Bill is still fast asleep in his car outside the gate. He's awoken by Daisy with some coffee for him. It's a double shot. Just what is required. Bill feels his hangover. Bill says she's good at helping. Can she help him get his memory back? Nope. Bill gets out and is woozy from his hangover. He questions if Daisy stayed the whole night with him. She's a designated driver. It's what's required of her. Bill thanks his niece for putting up with him. Lizzie meanwhile is sitting outside on the terrace with her coffee. Bill looks at the house from the gate. Bill tries to look awake with not much success. Daisy says she wants to be there. Why? Daisy believes in the true love of Bill and Lizzie. Bill should to. Daisy saw Bill at the accident scene. All he cared about was Lizzie's safety even though he was badly hurt. Bill questions why that matters. Daisy says that love is all that matters. Bill loves Lizzie. That is enough. Daisy says that the man that kidnapped Lizzie is probably the same guy she saw at the crash scene. Bill didn't do it. Bill questions again why that matters. It does. He stayed the whole night just to be close to her. Bill not sure what he can remember from the kidnapping. Is he just going to give up on Lizzie then? No. He's just giving her space. He appreciates Daisy sticking up for him. Bill gets back into his SUV. Does he want her to drive him somewhere? Daisy is fine as she looks at the Mansion. Bill thanks Daisy and drives off.



Reva tells Jeffrey at Company that they should head home and take down Christmas decorations. Jeffrey suggests that his pregnant wife should just relax. Just then Roc Hoover shows up. Reva remembers him right. Of course. Roc says that Reva is beautiful. Jeffrey is taking good care of her. Jeffrey says it's the new and improved Jeffrey. Jeffrey introduces Roc to Billy who has come back. Jeffery says that he has to go. It's that work thing. Reva can start the decorations alone. Jeffrey and Roc leave. Reva looks at Billy and tells him that Jeffrey is up to no good.

Lizzie is outside the Mansion when she's ambushed by Daisy. Daisy tells Lizzie about Bill staying the whole night just outside the gates. What does Daisy want Lizzie to do after that confession? Stand by Bill's side no matter what. She should fight for their love. She should believe in Bill. Lizzie knows that Bill didn't do it. Lizzie leaves not wanting to hear anymore of Daisy's guilt trip.

Outside Company, Roc says he got Jeffrey's message. What is up? Jeffrey says he has a plan but it could blow up on him big time if it backfires. Jeffrey and Roc leave.

Shayne and Dinah look at each other in Remy's room. Dinah questions what is wrong with Shayne. She thought that they got each other. Shayne snickers. He wheels over and grabs a bottle of water. Does she think that he needs fixing? He's not her little pet project. He's just fine without her around him. Dinah can just look somewhere else for a pity party.

Dinah is taken aback by Shayne's venom. She thought they were getting close. So, that gives her reason to just walk into his room. Dinah knows that Shayne is putting up a good front with everyone but why the heck is he doing it with her. She doesn't need this. Dinah leaves.

Outside Company, Dinah runs into Billy who is just coming out. Billy takes it that Dinah heard the news. Dinah had front row seats with Vanessa for the show. Does Dinah know where Bill is? No, but he let her have it when she found him at a bar. Dinah tells Billy that Bill can't remember anything about what happened to Lizzie during the kidnapping. Bill thinks he did it just like everyone else but Dinah knows that her brother is innocent. Billy messed up big time. Dinah heads into Company and runs into Reva. Reva is all mama bear and asks what Dinah's intention is towards Shayne. Dinah shakes her head as if her day can't get any worse.

Billy finds Bill in the convenience store. Billy says that Bill is making the right choice with the Pepto. It's what Billy used for his hangovers. Billy questions how it is with Lizzie. Bill says it's over. Did Lizzie say that? No Bill did.

Shayne is in his room when he hears another knock on the door. Shayne's trying to grab a glass from a high shelf. Shayne tells Dinah to buzz off. Jeffrey walks right in. Jeffrey starts to help but stops. Shayne questions what his stepfather is doing there. Jeffrey has a job offer for Shayne whether he likes it or not. Shayne looks at Jeffrey.

Outside the Spaulding Mansion, Daisy continues with the guilt trip on Lizzie. Daisy says that Uncle Bill is a good guy. An upstanding guy. He would never have kidnapped her. Lizzie knows that. That is what is real. Lizzie finally questions what the heck Daisy is thinking. Lizzie says that what is real is that she was kidnapped. It was terrifying. Lizzie doesn't have a clue who did it to her. It terrifies her. Daisy again questions how Lizzie can think that Bill did it. Bill doesn't know if he did. Daisy pushes through and says that if Lizzie lets Bill go, she's letting the best thing that has happened in her life go. Lizzie wants to believe in Bill but the doubts are not new. She's wondered for a bit but she pushed them down. Daisy says that Lizzie should keep fighting for Bill. Lizzie says she can't. She's tired of carrying the weight. She pushed the thoughts away. She covered them up. She was the only one that believed that Bill was innocent. She went against everybody then Bill tells her that he doesn't remember if he did it. Lizzie hates the guilt that she is feeling. Daisy knows that Lizzie can't stop thinking about Bill. Of course. Lizzie still thinks about him. Bill does as well. Bill is just beyond those gates. He stayed the whole night. He was in his car. Daisy stayed with him because he was in bad shape. He didn't want to leave Lizzie alone. Lizzie misses Bill. Daisy says that both Bill and Lizzie are more miserable apart so they have to work this out. Lizzie can't do that until she knows the truth. Daisy tells Lizzie to listen to her heart. Lizzie's sorry it's not that easy. Lizzie leaves. Daisy finally leaves.

Bill and Billy are still at the convenience store. Bill says that Billy maybe right. He could have done this. It is possible. Billy says that Bill can't think like that if he doesn't remember. What did he tell Lizzie? Bill says it doesn't matter. Lizzie stranded up to everyone. It was too much for her. Bill still loves Lizzie. Then Bill has to tell Lizzie that. Bill says it's not that easy. They can get past this. Lizzie still loves him. Bill has to show Lizzie how much he loves her. Billy says that Lizzie is worried about the what ifs and what's next. Bill just has to tell her that he's sorry.

At Company, Reva in mama bear mode tells Dinah that she was hoping Dinah was off her radar for once. Dinah and Cassie were able to deal with the past and move on. Dinah tells Reva that she misses Cassie being around sometimes. Reva figured that Dinah had moved on to someone else to make miserable. Dinah sarcastically thanks Reva for the compliment. Reva then says she realized that wait a second the next person for Dinah to make miserable might just be Reva. Dinah tells Reva to hold on because that is even a stretch for Reva to jump to. Reva says she's still puzzled by how Shayne and Dinah ended up together at Marina's wedding. It was Marina's wedding. Shayne and Marina were involved a long time ago right? Reva says cut the bull it was Mallet's wedding. Dinah wanted to use Shayne to break up the wedding. Dinah says nice. Reva's not giving Shayne any credit at all. What Shayne did that night was Shayne's choice. Dinah didn't manipulate him. Dinah can't make Shayne do anything he doesn't want to do. Reva says that Shayne is vulnerable because of everything that has happened to him. And Dinah isn't ? Reva tells Dinah to back off of Shayne. Dinah says that is actually easier said than done. Reva should have a lot more serious things to worry about then Dinah's involvement with Shayne. Dinah bites her tongue and tries to leave. Reva stops Dinah in her tracks. Reva says that Dinah and her are a lot alike. No one can tell us what to do. Dinah's still biting her tongue. If people try to tell Reva and Dinah what to do, heck they still would do it. Dinah says suffice to say then Reva did not take the safest approach with her today. Reva was hoping that direct might just do the job in cluing in Dinah how serious Reva is about this. Dinah says okey dokey. Reva is crystal clear. Dinah says that Reva is trying to bring a baby to term while fighting cancer. Dinah should be the last thing on Reva's mind. Dinah says Reva's focus should be on her unborn son. Does Dinah need to really be the person to spell that out for Reva? Dinah leaves questioning once again if her day can get any worse.

Shayne and Jeffrey arrive at the McEvoy House for troubled kids. This is going to be Shayne's new home if he wants it. Jeffrey can help him get in. Jeffrey says that Shayne needs to make a difference like he did overseas. This is where he can pick up where he left off. He can help problem kids. He can give them some guidance. Shayne questions why Jeffrey brought him there. Jeffrey cares about his stepson. Reva also has a lot on her plate right now. She doesn't need to worry about Shayne as well. If Shayne doesn't do this then Jeffrey is going to keep going and going until Shayne is finally worn down. Reva has to worry about her unborn son and her life. She has enough. Jeffrey will keep on pushing. Jeffrey says he can just let Shayne sulk or Shayne can choose to actually do something with his life. He can give these kids a person to look up to. Shayne relents and agrees. Jeffrey says that is a start. These kids are really troubled and it's very difficult. They need volunteers to talk to.

Bill arrives at the Mansion ready to talk to Lizzie. He's giving himself a pep talk in the study when he overhears Lizzie on the couch downstairs. She's lamenting her problems to Roxie. Lizzie isn't trying to say that Bill did it. She knows that is all he wants her to say to him. She wants to say that but the pressure is getting too much. She's so tired and exhausted from the fighting. Lizzie doesn't have a clue what to do. She knows she should pull herself up by her bootstraps and keep fighting but she doesn't have the strength anymore. Bill is saddened by the words. Lizzie heads upstairs and is surprised to see Bill. Bill stayed outside last night. Lizzie knows and wonders what he is doing there. Bill is just coming to get his things.

Jeffrey arrives at Towers and finds Dinah drinking a Caesar and trying to forget her bad day. Dinah tells Jeffrey that Reva needs to focus on something more than Shayne. Jeffrey knows. He's helped Shayne get a job at the community center. He's going to work as volunteer. Dinah is surprised. He was willing to do it? He changed his mind. Those kids need direction. Shayne can help them. Jeffrey leaves. Dinah decides to go see how Shayne is doing.

Shayne is going over paperwork at the desk. Just then a tough looking kid enters. What is Shayne doing there? He's the new counsellor. What a cripple is going to help them? Shayne smirks and says nice . Is the boy Byron? The boy gets all angry. What does it matter to Shayne? Shayne cares and that is the name on the file. Byron says to heck what is in the fine. He's getting out of there. Shayne gets it. He's seen people like Byron before when he was overseas. Shayne questions is Byron going to work up and do something stupid. The kid is getting ticked and tells Shayne to stop calling him Byron. Shayne says it again. Is the kid going to what threaten him? Shayne says that Byron is all show. Byron shows Shayne a knife. Is that more clear? What is Byron going to do something with that?

Daisy runs into Grandpa Billy at Company. He really needs to see Bill. Bill needs to find his way back to Lizzie and quick. Daisy says she was starting to make progress with Lizzie today. Billy says the same thing with Bill. Looks like the two of them were working opposite sides of the same problem. Daisy says that Bill and Lizzie have to be together. She saw the love that Bill had at the accident. If Bill and Lizzie can't make it then.... the message is clear. Daisy says that is silly. Billy disagrees with his granddaughter.

At the Spaulding Mansion, Bill arrives with his bags. That's all of it. Lizzie says that was fast. Bill says not to worry if he forgot anything. Lizzie says right she should just get back to work. Bill starts to say something but leaves. Lizzie looks at him ( Simple Machine by Kyler England plays )

Jeffrey arrives home at Cross Creek to find Reva fiddling with a camcorder. She found it in a drawer. She had completely forgotten about it. Jeffrey says it's not working. She has to add some new batteries. Reva says she should change it before their son arrives. What has Jeffrey been up to? Jeffrey looks at his wife.

Shayne and Byron are facing off at the community center.

Shayne says that Byron has a mouth but is he going to do anything with it. Dinah arrives. Shayne tells her to leave right now and Byron grabs her. He puts the knife to Dinah's throat and holds her hostage. Dinah is terrified.
