Beth and Coop just make me scream at the TV. I can't wait for Lizzie to rip Coop to shreds! Sorry folks, but I liked it better when Coop was barely on my radar. I find that I am disliking Beth more and more everyday--does she realize she still has two younger children at home? What does she think Alan is going to have to say about their well-being while she is out, as Lizzie says, "getting banged" by Coop? I so hope Lizzie makes them both pay as well.
The final scenes between Olivia and Nat were so good! Nat not getting it and Olivia trying her best to give her a clue! I actually had that kind of thing happen to me. There was a triangle--three females going at it over one another and I had to explain to a guy I worked with what was going down and he just wasn't getting it! I finally just spelled it out! Crystal did a fantastic job with her material and Jessica is so good at playing the clueless and naive good Catholic girl!
I still love Lillian too. At least she seems to get Alan better than her daughter does. It is almost refreshing to hear another character actually see through it all.

I love that Otalia kiss at the end . My goodness the sparks were flying off my tv. Natalia almost melted into Olivia's arms. Their scenes were so good all around from the teachers talk to Olivia trying to explain it to Natlalia. Obviously their storyline was my moment today. The reaction on the web to them has been incredible today. I've had a bunch of people subscribe my Youtube page ( because I've been posting Otalia clips as well ) and say they've never watched GL before but will now because of Otalia. The press this storyline is getting is incredible.
Some great one liners today as well :
Frank: I'm taking my time.
Buzz : The pyramids were built in quicker time.
Later on ......
Frank : So I kissed her.
Buzz: Yes.
Frank : And she looked like I hit her mouth with a wet mackeral.
They are really writing the show with a sense of humour lately that I love. Bill and Roxie were cute today. Bill's actions taking Roxie in for Lizzie then him saying that the one person that will get hurt is Lizzie actually struck a cord with me. Bill didn't seem as much of a weasel today.

Today was pretty good.
I do not get Lizzie just giving up Roxie. Then in her scene talking in the mirror to talk about all the tears over things and not mention Sarah! I was ready to throw something at the TV. I liked the scene with Lizzie and Lillian and Lizzie/Beth and Lizzie/Billy.
SFan, I can understand the frustration with Beth. BC is doing a good job playing someone running after something that makes her feel good. But the story is just crap and I feel so sorry for her playing the character-she's been like a multi-personality for the past few years. Table-leg woman one day, devoted to Alan the next, running back to her high-school youth with Rick and Coop-I just don't see any consistency with the character. I must admit, I loved her dress!
Coop on the other hand, I'm actually liking. Actually I'm liking JDs acting for once. I think he is doing a good job with his part in this. The story still sucks, but at least he's finally showing some acting potential.
Bill-too little too late.
Little Emma was delightful today with her presentation. The reaction of Nat and O was priceless. I liked the scene before the kiss better than the kiss. What is priceless is the look on Natalia's face after Frank kisses her versus after Olivia kisses her. I am starting to wonder if they plan on going there? I must admit that this sl has people talking and hopefully watching the show. I think the dialog has been positive-no matter which side of the poster want to happen.

I think with Lizzie she feels that if she gives up Roxie then she doesn't have to feel. She can keep her heart locked up and safe from being hurt again. She can just be a business woman with no strings on her heart. Lizzie giving Roxie away shows how much she's trying to detach from love. Lizzie was saying to Billy that she took the risk on love and she got squat out of it. Just heartache in her eyes. Why should she take a chance? She sees Beth making a fool of herself and Alan. Lizzie has become very cynical about love. As for Sarah, blame that on the writers and not Lizzie. It was a typo I believe.

Okay, so the ending of today's show literally made me sit up on the couch and go, "Holy sh**!" In a totally good way! If GL does decide to "go there" with Natalia and Olivia, I think I would be completely on board. I said a few months ago when this was just a rumor that I wouldn't be happy with it if they didn't write it right. And at the time, I didn't think the writing was nearly up to the task for taking it on. But I have to say, this seems to be on the right track of doing it right. I'm going to be very interested to see where this goes. JL and CC are doing a terrific job, and I really didn't see that kiss coming! Can I say it was hot? It was hot!

Dayna, I am liking the parallels being made between Alan and Lizzie right now. Lillian pointed it out well today when she told Lizzie she isn't Alan hiding emotions just because he/she is afraid to get hurt. It will be interesting to see her take on the world right now, much like Alan does.

elisa, Sometimes I wish I didn't read spoilers, I can imagine how much better it would be if I had not have known that kiss was coming.
I thought the "kiss" scenes were very well written.
LOL at the look on Nat's face when Frank kissed her.
Loved Buzz's comments.
Judy, I also think JD is doing a great job in this SL. It's been so long since he's been in a story that I tend to forget how good he can be. It's a shame he's leaving. Just like MRS , and NF, they let them shine right before they are headed out the door.
I may not be crazy over the Beth/Coop thing but I too think BC is doing a wonderful job .
I see the Lizzie/Roxy thing as Lizzie detaching herself from love. I can't remember when she was happy and shown any form of true love.
I knew as soon as Bill was walking toward Lillian, that he was going to take Roxy in.

Beth and Coop just make me scream at the TV. I can't wait for Lizzie to rip Coop to shreds! ... I find that I am disliking Beth more and more everyday--does she realize she still has two younger children at home?
Same here. I don't understand Beth's sudden contempt for Alan. What has the man done except love her. He's trying his best to respect her wishes and give her the independence she wants and overall he's been very good to her. OK, she's found another guy she wants more, but is that a reason to demonize the other? I also think she is a little jealous of the relationship Lizzie has with Alan.
The writers have Beth all over the place. She went back and forth a few times as to whether Bill was the kidnapper or not. Now today she decides he wasn't. Why? Just because he took Roxie? There was no other event that occurred to sway her thinking. I just don't like how her feelings for and about people change at the drop of a hat.
I see the Lizzie/Roxy thing as Lizzie detaching herself from love. I can't remember when she was happy and shown any form of true love.
Oh, that broke my heart. I just love that little dog. I also see another angle there. Roxie is the last gift she got from Phillip. She's really clung to that dog in part because it was her last connection to her father. She sees her father as one other person in her life that hasn't been there for her and by getting rid of Roxie she is severing that connection to her father as well.
As for the Natalia/Olivia stuff today. I found it very contrived and a bit gratuitous. What's with Olivia? She can't just say the L-word? She couldn't just say, they think we're lesbians? It's like the writers just wanted to pull a little stunt to perhaps stir up a little controversy or something. I think it would have been better if they ramped up the comedy of the situation a bit, though it was amusing as it was.

You know, usually I'm a spoiler fanatic, but I really haven't been reading them lately, mostly b/c I haven't had the time. And I really didn't think it mattered much, except I guess it does when something like this comes along! Made it a lot of fun, that's for sure.
Now that I've calmed down about that ending....I've figured out what I love about Natalia and Olivia -theirs is a classic soap story. Think about it if they were a traditional male/female relationship. They couldn't stand each other, threw barbs at each other constantly, but never hurt each other irreparably (like Bill and Lizzie did, and continue to do, which is probably why I don't much care if they're together or not). They slowly became "frienemies" and then grudging friends for a while and now they've got a warm friendship. And now...maybe one or the other or both is thinking that there's possibly something more? Classic soap stuff! The next step will be denying it vehemently. I truly don't know if they intend to pursue this or not, but they've laid the groundwork beautifully if they do. I've complained on numerous occasions how all the romance on GL in the last couple years has seemed so forced and fast, and this relationship has evolved so naturally and organically that it's been a pleasure to watch, wherever it may lead.

I really enjoyed the show as well. I am so loving the Olivia/Natalia story, but I REALLY hope the writers are careful here. I'm not sure where they are going with this, but my temptation is to say that they really do NOT plan to make these to an actual couple. I think that they plan to explore the idea a bit (after all, you can't plant a seed in Olivia's head without her thinking it to death!) but I think they're going to have them realize that they really are just friends.
Now, either way, I don't care, if they keep writing it as well as they are - what I'm afraid of is that someone is playing to fast and free with the whole lesbian idea, and if they don't go down that road, that there is going to be a major backlash from the people who are just starting to watch because they think this is where the show is headed. So - note to writers - do what you want, because either path could be wonderful - but be careful to not be so misleading that you lose a group of viewers along the way. This is one of the most honest storylines I've seen in a while from GL - please keep it that way!
Oh - and I have to say - clearly, Natalia has lost some inhibitions along the way, LOL. Remember when Ava was helping her choose a dress for her dinner with Gus and she was concerned that the dress was too revealing? She's WAY over that, LOL - she almost fell out of that shirt yesterday! I've never actually seen that kind of shirt on a person without a cami underneath!
I don't love the Coop/Beth storyline, but I've actually been enjoying it - now I'm thinking simply because of the intrigue. Because as soon as they sat down to dinner in Towers, I was bored. I really like Coop in this storyline, and I think BC is doing the best she can with what she has to work with, but her character is all over the place. I don't blame her for wanting what Coop offers her (and no, I'm not talking about his young, hot body, LOL!) Alan loves her as best as Alan can love anyone, but that's never going to be good enough for anyone, because it comes with so many strings and restrictions and limitations. He expects too much and too little at the same time, from everyone around him - so I can understand her wanting the faith and support that Coop gives her. But it doesn't change the fact that he's too young. She's talking about her reasons for being a lawyer, and I love that - it's extremely valid to the character. Her comment to Lizzie about how it had always been the two of them - again, very true to the character. Being with Coop just doesn't make sense for Beth.
As far as Bill and Lizzie - still don't trust Bill, and not thrilled to think they are going to try to have MR play an "Alan Jr." role - seems pretty clear that she's not going to be able to pull it off. Also, just once I wish someone would remember that she's not even blood-related to Alan! She may emulate him, but she certainly did NOT "inherit" any of his characteristics! Argh!

This was a great show!
Loved Natalia and Olivia and Emma.
I liked Bill for the first time today in a long time, and how exciting was it when he asked Rick where he could find Phillip! And the look on Ricks face
I am so sorry that Coop will be written out, as the actor is really doing so good. Shame he could not have done this story before. I think we finally see Coop grown up.
