Cyrus rescues Lizzie

Previously - Olivia telling Frank how the farm feels like a home for her and Emma. Bill snooping in Lizzie’s diary. Olivia, Natalia and Emma all invited to go to Family Day together. Lizzie is kidnapped again.

At the SPD, Frank is attempting to get up the courage to ask Natalia out. Buzz walks in and sees his son’s attempt. Coop arrives. Frank questions what is up. It’s family day at the school. Shouldn’t Coop be there with the rest of the teachers? Coop says that he wanted to help out his father today at Company. Frank says this is great the Cooper boys can all chat and hang out. When is the last time they did that? Coop asks if Frank and Natalia have gone out on a date yet. Coop says they really need to fix Frank up on a date. Buzz agrees. Buzz still hates that he has Alan Spaulding as a partner. Coop doesn’t want Alan Spaulding to be part of his vocabulary in any way. He says lets worry about setting Frank up on a date with Natalia.

At the Farmhouse, It’s the day of the presentation and the house is abuzz. Olivia is freaking out. She wants to check Emma’s reports for spelling errors. Emma says not until the presentation. It’s a secret. Natalia says that is fine. She likes secrets. Olivia asks for just a little hint as to what makes their family unique. Emma says no and leaves to get changed. Why is Olivia so worried? She knows how smug and arrogant other families can be. Olivia doesn’t exactly have the white picket family history. Natalia laughs and says she just realized that Emma is the grown up and Olivia is the kid. Emma is a lot more adjusted.


Ashlee chats with Doris on the phone. Daisy is still her friend but she and Grady needed a place. No Ashlee has not see Grady in the buff yet. Ashlee walks in on Grady muscling a guy who works in City Contracting. He doesn’t have the right mentality when it comes to what Doris needs. The contractor needs to change his point of view. How can Grady help him do that? Ashlee attempt to hide. She is stunned by what she sees.

At the Spaulding Mansion, Cyrus is lounging out while working on files. He gets a frantic call from Alan. Where is Cyrus? He’s at the house. He’s going over the new investments. Alan says that they have departments for that. Does Cyrus have a clue where Lizzie is? No. Cyrus is visibly worried. Alan says that Lizzie was supposed to see him in New York today for meetings. She was going to meet him later on. She hasn’t showed up. Has Alan left Lizzie messages? Of course. If Cyrus values his job at Spaulding-Lewis then he better find Lizzie and fast. Cyrus gets up. He’s visibly worried about Lizzie.

Bill is outside the white van and looking around at his watch nervously. Where the heck is Daisy? Daisy shows up. Is that the white van from the kidnapping? It is. She can step back now. Bill says he’s not kidnapping Lizzie again but rather this is an intervention. Lizzie was supposed to head off with Alan to New York. Bill needs Daisy to head off Alan in case he calls. Daisy needs to tell Alan that Lizzie is delayed for a couple of days. Bill thank Daisy for not thinking he’s a nut. Daisy says he’s doing it for love. She can see that. Daisy leaves with Lizzie’s phone. Bill opens the door and finds a very pissed off Lizzie. Is she alright? Does she look alright? When he is done with her, she is going to make him pay. Bill tries to say he didn’t take Lizzie before. How can he explain and make her see that? Alan is at the airport waiting for her. He’ll be fine. Bill has that taken care of. Bill closes the door. Lizzie is furious.

Only love…..

Olivia and Natalia are still talking about the presentation at the farmhouse. What is Emma going to say about Rafe? Rafe sees her like a baby sister. He’s not there because right he’s in prison for shooting the DA. The other families are not going to see that as good. Why is Olivia so embarrassed? People can be cruel and she doesn’t want Emma to feel that. Natalia understands just like people have treated Olivia. Emma comes down the stairs. They have to close her eyes. Emma says they can open them now. Emma looks beautiful. Emma says she has something from both of them. Emma questions what is wrong with Olivia. She’s fine really. They can all go to Family Day together.

The Cooper boys are in the courthouse tossing stuff and shooting the breeze. They can fix Frank up with that blonde girl… the one that he had all the trouble with last year. No thanks. Any woman that gets close to him runs in the other direction. Coop says then it’s good that Natalia has bought her own house in Springfield. She’s stuck. What about going on a double date with Buzz and Lillian? Right and Natalia will fall for Buzz. Nope, Frank’s been there and done that before. Frank says instead of finding him a date why not do it for Coop. Coop bristles at the comment. Coop says he’s fine. Really he hasn’t been on a date since he broke up with Ashlee? Why doesn’t he ask her out again or find another girl. Coop is a great find. Coop bristles at the comment and tells Frank to back off. Buzz just sighs and thinks about Coop and Beth. Coop says he will find the right woman. He wants true love like Frank had with Eleni or what Buzz had with Jenna. Coop wants true love. Frank says then he is definitely a Cooper then. They want true love and nothing less. Coop says nothing neither does Buzz. Frank looks at Coop questioning what he missed.

Grady is muscling the planner still as Ashlee watches. She attempts to hide behind a mail box. Grady tells the guy to make a donation to Doris’ campaign. She would prefer that. The guy leaves. Grady walks over and says hi to Ashlee. Now is she all aghast at what he did. Grady is a bad boy. Ashlee says no. How much did she see? More than she probably should but she’s fine with it. She’s not going to tell anyone. Just then Cyrus shows up ticked off at Grady aside. Cyrus roughly pulls his brother aside and asks where the heck Lizzie is. Grady has no clue.

Alan is attempting to call Lizzie. Daisy looks down at the phone nervously. She can just let it ring right. No she has to say something. Daisy fakes her voice and lies to Alan saying that Lizzie is caught at work. She’ll meet him later on. Alan says right Bill probably created something so Lizzie could not have been there. Alan questions what is wrong with Lizzie’s voice. Daisy lies and says it’s just a bad connection. Alan says he will see his granddaughter soon. Daisy sighs in relief believing Alan fell for the line hook, line and sinker.


In the field close to the ransom drop, Bill is trying to reason with Lizzie. He wants to figure out if she was there. No he wants to figure out if he was there. Why would he just take the money and head home? Lizzie says she can’t do this. She wants Bill to just take her home. This is torture for both of them to have to relive this. It was horrible being tied to a chair there. Chair? She never mentioned that before. Where was she? She was in a warehouse or building somewhere. She was in a basement because it was cold. She heard voices outside and tried to knock on the pipes to get people’s attention. She couldn’t see anything more though because she was blindfolded. How did she feel? How does he think she felt ? She was terrified. When the kidnapper was there? How did she feel then? Lizzie wants to go and stop remembering. She felt like she knew him. How? She would talk about the Spauldings and he wouldn’t react. No questions. Did he hurt her? He had her wrists tied a bit hard but other than that no. Did he put her in danger in anyway? He shook her chair to scare her a bit. Did she feel like he could kill her? Yes. Doesn’t that tell Lizzie something then. Bill would never hurt or kill Lizzie. He doesn’t have it in him. He would gladly give his life before hurting Lizzie. Lizzie knows that right. Lizzie pulls back flinching at Bill’s touch. Bill tells Lizzie to stay. Lizzie says that Bill was a weasel when they first met. He read her diary to get her into bed so he could get her family fortune. Bill was a weasel. He could have just pretended to be scary. What about the kidnappers voice? It was gravely and low. He was disguising it. Has Bill ever sounded like that? He could have just disguised it. It frightens her that she doesn’t know the truth. She’s afraid of him.

Cyrus lashes out at Grady as Ashlee watches. Did Grady kidnap Lizzie again? Why not shout it out to the world. Cyrus would have no problem doing that if Lizzie is in trouble again. If Grady did something to her…. Grady has a good life with Daisy and a new job. Why would he screw it up and kidnap Lizzie again? Nobody has seen Lizzie or know what happened to her. Ashlee and Daisy both act surprised that Lizzie is missing again. Daisy attempts to cover for Bill saying that Alan talked to Lizzie. She’s fine. Cyrus is not falling for that line of hogwash. Ashlee suggests that they all go to look for Lizzie. They can cover more ground if they split up. Cyrus agrees to do it and leaves with Daisy. He tells Ashlee and Grady to call if they hear anything. Grady looks at his brother and also questions where Lizzie is.

It’s Family Day at the school. Emma arrives with her mommies and says hi to her friend. Olivia is nervous. She can feel the eyes on her. Natalia tells her to relax. The teacher walks over and says that Emma is an exceptional student. She so proud, funny and insightful about things. She wrote a beautiful presentation that has inspired all of them. Olivia and Natalia must inspire Emma a lot. The teacher leaves and Olivia is shocked by the nice words. Just then Natalia’s phone rings. It’s the doctor from Rafe’s prison. He’s o.k. now. Now? He didn’t get his medication in time so he went into shock. They got to him in time. Natalia is freaking out. She always makes sure his son gets his medication. Sometimes people steal the medication. Why not say anything? It just doesn’t happen. The doctor again reassures Natalia. Olivia walks over .What is the matter? Rafe is sick. Natalia has to go but she wants to be there for Emma. Olivia can watch alone. Emma comes by and asks what is wrong? Rafe is sick. Olivia says she’s going with Natalia. They will be right back. Natalia is not driving like this. Olivia takes the keys and they leave.

At the prison, Natalia arrives and attempts to see Rafe but a burly guard tells her no. He will arrest her if she comes close again since she doesn’t have a permit. Her son is sick. She is going to see him. He gets all burly. Olivia can give as good as she gets and puts the guy in his place. Does he really want to hurt Natalia? Olivia has not problem suing his butt after she gets him fired. He threatens to cuff Olivia now. The doctor comes out and says that Rafe is fine. Natalia wants to see her son. The doctor says fine. Meanwhile, Emma is at the school waiting for her mommies to return. She gives a pep talk to her friend as he tells a story of a typical family.

Grady and Ashlee arrive at a bar. It’s not likely that Lizzie is in there. Grady realizes that. He wants a drink. Ashlee agrees. Two beers. No, she will have a diet soda. Just then an older lady comes in and starts blasting Grady. She’ll kill him for scaring her boy. The boy turns out to be the contractor that Grady muscled earlier. The mom says she has connections and Grady is as good as dead. Ashlee introduces herself and states that she is the mayor’s daughter. Grady works for the mayor. If the lady does not want a suit against her that will clean her out then she better apologize. Grady is impressed. The kid apologizes and Ashlee boots them out. Grady says this deserves a toast. He toasts Ashlee for helping him out. Ashlee breaks out laughing.


Cyrus and Daisy are at the cannery. Daisy says they just have to go. There is no way that Lizzie would be there. Daisy then fakes being faint. Cyrus tells her to sit in the car. He’s going to look for Lizzie. He’s still worried about her. Cyrus says that Bill Lewis left Spaulding right around the time that Lizzie disappeared. What if Bill has her again? Bill is not a kidnapper. Daisy knows that Bill cares for Lizzie. It was all he was worried about after the accident. Bill loves Lizzie. Love can make you do crazy things. Daisy tries to stop Cyrus again. Cyrus is not listening.

Bill and Lizzie are in a basement. She heard noises outside. Voices? Could be. Bill could have just had a tape recorder outside for all she knows. He could have just faked that. Why no call if he had the money? Lizzie doesn’t know. Does Lizzie remember when she was hiding from the kidnapper and Bill found her? Remember he had a helper. Lizzie threw her arms around Bill because she felt safe with him. Lizzie is safe now. All that matters is the love between them. They can make this experience beautiful. Lizzie bristles and turns around and slaps Bill.

At the school, the teacher says thanks to another student. Emma anxiously waits for her parents. She is then called up by the teacher. Olivia and Natalia arrive then. Rafe? He’s fine. They are both cheering for her. Natalia and Olivia sit down. Natalia touches Olivia’s hand. She looks around feeling the looks from the other parents.

Grady and Ashlee are laughing and eating cookies back at the apartment when Daisy shows up. Daisy says it’s a good thing that Lizzie is missing. It’s good? Yes. She wasn’t kidnapped this time. She was found.

Lizzie is furious at Bill. She let him do it again. He read her diary to use her. He wanted to know what was in her heart. He could have asked her instead of reading her diary. Bill wanted this to be a good experience. Lizzie says that is a lie. He’s lying to her like he did when he first came to Springfield. Bill tries to reason with Lizzie. Bill says she has to believe in what he says. She has to trust him. Trust is earned. Actions speak louder than words to her. It’s how they treat each other. He was horrible to her when they first met. Just then Bill’s phone rings. The person wants to talk to Lizzie. Lizzie is beyond relieved when she hears Cyrus’ voice. Cyrus asks if Lizzie is alright. Can he come and get her out of there? She’s at the factory. Lizzie rushes off to wait for Cyrus with Bill following her. Cyrus hops in his car to take off to get Lizzie.

Lizzie and Bill are waiting outside. Cyrus shows up and rushes to Lizzie. Is she alright? Bill didn’t hurt her. No. Bill says of course not. Cyrus says they can go now. Cyrus and Lizzie walk off together. Bill says this has to be a joke right. Bill realizes how bad his plan backfired on him.

Coop, Frank and Buzz are back in the squad room. The Coopers just have to stick together. It will get better eventually. They will get Company back. Alan is just a temporary solution. Buzz gets all mushy and says how much he loves his boys. Frank tells Coop to flee back to Family day before it gets even more mushy. Frank questions if something is up with Coop. He seemed to bristle at the comment of a woman. Buzz doesn’t say anything. Frank looks at his father.

At the Family Day, Olivia and Natalia hold hands. Natalia says that Emma is so confident up there. Emma says that her project is called My Two Mommies. Olivia looks around and sees the looks. She thinks this could be trouble.

Presentation : Emma does her presentation on her two mommies. Natalia is so moved by the words. Olivia is just wigged out when she sees other people’s reactions. The teacher say she can’t wait to talk to both of them.
