Dayna's Thoughts on Today's Episode (she liked it!)

OMG what else can I say about Jeff Branson that I haven't already. I love him as Shayne. He was incredible as Shayne told Lara's story. Broke my heart to pieces listening to it. Gina is such a phenomenal actress as well. I love watching Shaynah play off of each other. That was one Guiding Light Moment for me today

Second moment was Dinah and Reva going at each other. You did not disappoint Thorny. That was an Emmy calibre scene. I was blown away by it.

Tracey you must have been doing a jig with Lizzie telling off Beth. Man on man was Lizzie good today. She said everything I've been reading on the boards.

Loved the boys at Company. Cute moment when Josh and Jeffrey actually agreed and Reva's reaction was priceless.

O.k. what had me ticked? I missed the last segment due to a CBS news report thus I missed a Cyrus promo ( thanks for telling me Tracey. ) Figures GL was good and I get a bloody news report

Thorny's Quick Take for Thursday, January 15

HOLY SMOKES! I am happy to report that our show was off the chain today! What a great show. And that's fantastic - because yesterday's show was great as well.

Today we got some AWESOME performances and great scenes and dialogue.

Beth and Lizzie were amazing. IVN would be so proud!! You all will love their dialogue - and yes, Lizzie called Beth out on boinking her 1st love. She actually called Beth a COUGAR!!! But Beth was not outdone and yes - she said what I was dying to say - She called Lizzie out on being with Bill - her ex husband. (Though I don't quite recall Beth and Bill being married - wasn't that Lorelei? )

Then we had my girl (Reva, natch!) and Dinah going toe to toe. They were blasting each other! Two powerhouse actresses chewing it up.

Great stuff between Coop and Beth, too.

And a revealing scene between Shayne and Dinah...regarding Lara. You all will LOVE that!

To add to the mix, we have a cute scene between Reva, Jeffrey, Josh and Buzz.

And, yes, Alan and Bill are on, too.

Lastly, the kidnapping doesn't happen until the last second of the show, so never fear.

I have actually been enjoying the show lately, as if it is actually good or something...

Also, I cannot wait to see Lizzie LET BETH HAVE IT! Her behavior is just weirder than usual lately. She has a beautiful baby girl and a man who loves her! (In his way) BUT IT IS NEVER ENOUGH FOR THIS SCHLAMPE! Yes I am SCREAMING!!!!!

Instead of concentrating on her lady parts (thank you for the expression, dear Ivn) she should be wondering what the heck happened to James.

LaChamberlin is actually selling this drivel though. Love her and her sexy low voice. I love her rightfully judgemental MAMA and the little squeaky toy Lizzie. Lizzie may not be in the best position to judge Bethy considering her lack of interest in her own child and her BORING OBSESSION with Bill which dominates her every move. Still I love a juicy, soapy confrontation and I love all of the "Raines" women and their recycled love interests.

I just want to say I also love the subtextual lesbians. I wish they were on everyday. I love Emma and her two mommies. CC and JL have soooo much chemistry.

My Eddie is coming back soon. YEAH! I just called the GL hotline to let them know how excited I am for his return. Why does it have to be short term...

I loved today's show.I didn't want it to end.
Great acting and very soapy moments today.
I missed the last the few minutes too.I couldn't get upset over it considering 150 people lives were at stake. Now if it was just the President with nothing to say as usual I would.

I thought Marcy Rylan had one of her best days today. She had perfect reactions and answers to everything. Beth C was great too.
Jeff B is on fire. He broke my heart telling his story.
I saw the Reva that I loved today.Full of fire . She and Gina T. were fantastic.
It was great to go and read other board and see all the praise for GL to last two days.

Go Lizzie! I loved seeing her give Beth what for today. Great acting by both of them. Then I liked how she twisted the knife once Alan showed up. Throwing little references out to Beth to make her feel even more guilty. Great stuff.

I liked seeing Dinah and Reva going toe to toe as well. Dinah actually got the last word in, too!

I really wanted Bill to sign those papers. I want the company back with the Spauldings. Grrr.

I missed the last few minutes because of the special report on the plane tanking into the Hudson River. Like we couldn't wait 3 more minutes to hear about it. Sheesh. I don't like anyone messin' with my GL!!

Two days in a row the shows are darned near perfect-that's something. I loved scenes mentioned by others as well. I also loved the mix of humor, venting, and angst in the show. It was a very good balance. Other things that made this and yesterday's shows above par (the Otalia sl too) is the dialog and that it fit the character's, their history, the story, etc. The scenery was a perfect backdrop to the action and not the only thing worth paying attention to in the scene.

Standout scenes-Beth/Lizzie; Dinah giving Reva what fer, Dinah Shane, and the Buzz boys.

Kudos to all involved with both epis!

Dayna's In-Depth Recap: Episode 15590, January 14, 2009

Secrets Revealed

“ Oh what tangled webs we weave when we first practice to deceive.”

Previously : Dinah asking Shayne to let her help. Dinah heading out and finding out about Shayne’s girlfriend. Buzz warning Beth not to hurt Coop.

At Company, Buzz is working outside when Beth arrives at the boarding house. She smiles at him and heads upstairs. Buzz just shakes his head. Beth enters and sees Coop sitting on the bed. Coop is happy to see Beth. He wanted to tell her something. Beth says that she loves how he taught her to stand up for herself. She ended up winning the case for her client. Coop smiles. It will be one of many wins for her as a lawyer. Brooks, the lawyer, was so impressed. He’s going to recommend Beth to the Dean. Beth laughs. She may just have earned the lawyer’s respect. Beth feels so good when she’s around Coop. Coop is glad. Beth wants to thank Coop properly. Was there something that he wanted to tell her? Coop smirks and says no. It can wait as Beth starts to nuzzle his neck.

At the Spaulding Mansion, Alan walks in with a huge present for Lillian who is sitting on the couch. Lillian looks at Alan as she opens the present. It’s a very large expensive vase. Why? Alan explains that he wants to thank Lillian for giving him a swift kick in the pants the other day where his feelings for Beth are concerned. It made him realize how important Beth is to him. Lillian says that he didn’t need to do this. He did more than enough when he saved Buzz from going under. Alan was happy to do it. Buzz helped him out a bit ago when he was down on his luck. It’s time to return the favour. It also brought a smile to Beth’s face which is just as good.

At Company, Marina arrives and is beyond ticked at the concept that Alan is partners with Buzz. It’s like working for the devil. There has to be another option. Buzz says that there isn’t. What about banks? They turned him down. Buzz heads inside with his granddaughter following him.

At the SPD, Mallet runs into Mel who is working on a case. He has a question for her. Which hat does he need? Lawyer or doctor. Mallet takes Mel to a more secluded place. He wants to give Marina a child, how can he do that?

In the DA’s office, Jeffrey is talking to Dinah. Dinah needs a favour done and Jeffrey is the one that can help. Dinah wants to find Shayne’s girlfriend. Dinah thinks that maybe she can talk to Shayne. She may be behind his problems. Jeffrey says if it will help Shayne’s attitude and take stress off of Reva then he’ll help find her. Maybe she can give Shayne a swift kick in the pants.

At the SPD, Shayne is attempting to rest but the inmate across the way is making a ton of racket. Shayne starts to complain but finds Mommy dearest across from him. Reva says that he wasn’t accepting visitors so she figured this would be the next best way to see him. Getting arrested? Reva just smiles at Shayne.

Only love…..

Beth and Coop are making out in the boarding house. Coop is complaining about the amount of buttons on her shirt. He’s not good with them. Coop says he likes it when Beth wins a case, she has more spunk in her step. Beth just snickers as she nuzzles Coop’s neck. She can even move out of Alan’s place now so they can finally be together. Beth says she can’t do that to Alan. Alan helped out Buzz with Company the other day. Coop knows but he can take care of his family. He doesn’t need her charity. Beth sits back and questions what is wrong. They have the best of everything. She can be with him anytime they want. Why does he want to ruin it with commitment? It’s enough for her. Coop says it isn’t for him. He wants all of her.

Marina and Buzz are talking downstairs at Company about the money situation. Buzz is sorry to hear that Mallet and Marina can’t have kids. Marina says it is fine. She knew it when she married Mallet. It’s just not meant to be for them. There are alternative ways they can be parents. Buzz says that it still must suck. Marina wishes she could help her grandfather. Buzz says he’s fine. Marina says she needs to talk to Coop about the finances. Maybe they can figure out something together. Buzz says she can’t do that. Coop is up working in his room. The fearless writer. Marina starts to head off. Buzz says that Coop is otherwise occupied. He has a girl? Not just a girl. Beth Raines is in Coop’s room. Marina is stunned by the news.

Mallet and Mel are still talking in the courthouse. It should be easy right. People get married and go on their honeymoon then the whispers start about a bun in the oven. Mel laughs. Mallet says all he wants to do is give Marina a child. She would be an incredible mother. Does it matter if the child is not his biologically? Mallet says he would be the dad in all the ways that matter. He would be up at 2am for feedings. He would raise the kid to be a good person. He would be the one to play catch. He would be the lucky one. Mallet loves Marina so much. He wants to give this to her. Can this be done? If so what about if the child wants to see the biological father or the father wants the child back. Can he just do that? Mel says that it’s not so simple. Mallet doesn’t want Marina to have that type of heartbreak. Mel says then he has to think about it long and sincerely.

At the DA’s office, Dinah is wondering if Jeffrey will actually help since he’s so grouchy about Shayne. Jeffrey says he will because he now puts his family first. He’s got more at stake with his sick wife and unborn kid. Why does Dinah want to ? Dinah’s screwed up all her past relationships. This time she wants to help Shayne if she can. Dinah says the girl could be key to everything. Jeffrey says fine as long as it doesn’t stress Reva out.


At the jail, Shayne and Reva are bickering. How did she end up in there? Well she dropped litter by a no litter sign to start the she kicked Officer Diaz in the shins. She did it on purpose? Well he wasn’t going to see her other wise. What is she doing in jail with a high risk pregnancy while she’s fighting cancer? Reva says if chemo can’t hurt the baby then certainly one night in jail won’t either. Shayne is her baby as well. Shayne shouldn’t even be in jail. He was helping a woman who was being accosted by a jerk. Shayne says that he punched the guy and now he’s filing charges against Shayne. Shayne tells his mother to just leave. This is a weird way to spend time together. A little quality time in the clink. Reva looks at Shayne and laughs. It was the only way. Every time she gets close, he takes off as fast as his wheels will allow. Shayne again yells and says that he doesn’t need her. Josh arrives and tells his family to peep down. What the heck are they both doing in prison? Reva just smiles.

In the boarding house, Beth’s comment about Alan has kind of soured the mood. Coop is sitting on the edge of the bed. Beth tells Coop to put his pride aside. Just because she’s with Alan does not mean that she is putting him second. Coop says it sure feels that way. Coop says that she wants to enjoy all the power and prestige it means with the Spaulding name. When the guilt becomes to much she rushes off to be with Coop and offer him money. Beth doesn’t feel guilty about him. She’s trying to protect Coop from what Alan would do if he found out about them. She wants to protect him. Coop can’t do that. He wants to confront Alan so much. Beth says he can’t do that. Beth tries to reason with Coop.

Marina thinks about her uncle and Beth. She looks at Buzz. This can only end really bad if Alan finds out. Does Alan know? Not yet. So Beth is shacked up with her daughter’s ex boyfriend. Just then Alan shows up and Buzz is all nervous. Alan asks if they have seen Beth. No. Alan says he saw Beth’s car outside. Why is Buzz so nervous? Alan can’t have his head chef so nervous. Alan has some menu suggestions. Beth just arrives then. She saw Alan’s car outside. They can head home and have lunch with Cook. She’s done for the day. Alan says he wants to eat at his restaurant. Beth says they should just head home. Beth and Alan leave. Buzz and Marina breath a sigh of relief.

At the courthouse, Mel tells Mallet that there is no easy answer. They are not sure what type of kid he’s going to get with a donor. The kid could be an Einstein or a troublemaker. That’s the joy of kids because you never know. If this bugs Mallet then he really needs to think about putting it aside for now. Is that the lawyer or doctor talking? The mom actually. Kids change everything.

At The DA’s office, Jeffrey tells Dinah that he will call her when he finds out anything from his contacts about Shayne’s girlfriend. Jeffrey says the reason he’s doing it may just help Shayne. Redemption is impossible to find. Take it where you can get it. Jeffrey just doesn’t want his wife or unborn son to get hurt because of Shayne.

Reva, Josh and Shayne are all bickering now at the jail. How did Reva end up there? She got herself arrested. She couldn’t just call him. She had to go to her own extremes again. Reva says she’s not an invalid. She can take care of her sons herself. So she assaults a cop? Shayne needed to talk to his mother. Shayne says he didn’t. Josh warns Shayne about talking to his mother like that. The Lewis clan all starts squabbling as Mallet comes in. He tells them to stop bickering. Josh says why are they disturbing the pimps and prostitutes? Josh says that there is no reason why Shayne should be in jail. He was doing a good deed. Shouldn’t Mallet be arresting criminals instead? Mallet looks at Josh and says he gets to join Shayne and Reva. Shayne questions why he can’t have a private cell. Mallet says sorry this is all they have. Josh questions why he’s in the clink now. Mallet says for being a pain in the butt. Josh says actually may be good then they can all have quality family time and actually talk. Shayne shakes his head. Reva asks Mallet for her prenatal vitamins and a big glass of water. Mallet just shakes his head.

At Company, Buzz sees a dejected Coop walk in. Coop tells Buzz to burn his manuscript. It’s just a fairytale. Burn it. Coop looks over and sees Marina. She knows? Great. He doesn’t need a lecture on bad choices. Marina says who is she to judge with her own record. Marina is more worried about her uncle. Coop hates it that Alan has such a control on this town. Alan is just a big bully. Marina hopes this is not meaning that Coop wants to visit the Spaulding Mansion with a bulldozer like last time. No but he has to do something. Buzz can’t deal with this. Coop leaves. Blake shows up and questions what she missed. She looks down and sees the manuscript. She asks for a coffee and starts reading.

Beth is outside on the Spaulding grounds when Alan arrives. He mentions that she was quiet on the way back from Company. Does she not like the place? She couldn’t wait to get out of there. Beth says it’s nice to see someone who is protective and appreciative. He has such big dreams and ideas. Granted he has ideas but he’s not more than just a cook. Buzz right? Right of course that is who Alan was talking about. Alan knows that Buzz is going through tough times now. He was there for Alan back in the day so Alan is returning the favour. Alan says the added bonus is other than Lillian there is no other Spaulding dating a Cooper this time. Beth shakes her head as tears start to fall. Alan questions what is wrong. She does realize how much he loves and cares for her. She does. It’s just been a long day. She’s tired. Could Alan ask Hilda to make a cup of tea for her? Alan leaves to do just that. Lillian shows up and sees her daughter. Lillian smiles and says “ Oh what a tangled web we weave when we first practice to deceive.”

Josh and Reva are still bickering at the jail when Jeffrey shows up. Reva wants to explain. Jeffrey says he gets it perfectly. Shayne is in trouble again and Josh and Reva both want to help hence the Lewis family reunion in the clink. Is that about it? Jeffrey is going to talk to the judge about bail for his wife. Reva says she’s not leaving her son. Jeffrey says he’s not leaving their son either. Jeffrey says that is the way it’s going to be. She’s going to do this. Josh laughs and says that if Jeffrey thinks he can control Reva, he needs to do some more research. Reva says she’s not going. Jeffrey says he’ll see both Josh and Reva in the courtroom then they will help Shayne find his girlfriend. Shayne reacts in horror. Jeffrey says that Dinah asked him to help. Maybe this girlfriend can knock some sense into Shayne. Jeffrey leaves and Shayne freaks out. He has to get out of the jail now to stop Jeffrey from looking. Dinah is stunned by Shayne’s reaction.

Marina arrives home and opens a beer. She downs it in one gulp much to the surprise of Mallet. A bad day? A scale of 10. It was a 100. Can she tell him? Of course. Beth and Coop are doing the horizontal hula together. Mallet is stunned. It could be really bad if Alan finds out. Buzz has been covering for them and it’s taking a lot out of him. Buzz has had front row seats to this fiasco. Mallet suggests the concept of artificial insemination so they can have a baby. Marina doesn’t want a baby. She wants her husband. Mallet and Marina head upstairs.

Lillian tells Beth that she understands really. She knows how addictive an affair is. She also knows how dangerous it is as well. Just because Lillian had an affair with her best friends…. Lillian tells her daughter not to go there. Beth doesn’t need a lecture. Beth just wants her mother. Lillian hugs her daughter. She’ll always be there for her. Beth wishes her mom could just kiss the hurt and make it go away. Does it ever go away? Beth explains for the last bit how she’s been on the edge of her life but with Coop she feels alive. Alan ? He thinks he knows Beth but he doesn’t . Coop knows her inside and out. Coop believes in her and gives her strength. Coop sees all of her soul. Lillian says that Beth can’t do this. Beth knows it’s wrong but it feels so right when she’s with Coop. It will make all of them suffer in some way. It’s going to hurt one of her men. Alan shows up and sees the tears. What is wrong? Beth is just tired because of everything. Beth just needs to rest. Alan is really worried about her. Lillian leaves. Alan questions if Brooks hurt her? Alan will squish him like a bug if he hurt Beth. Alan explains that Beth is his world. He loves her more than anything she does realize that right? Just then Coop arrives. Beth is terrified that Coop will reveal the affair.

Josh and Reva talk in the courtroom. Jeffrey shows up. He’s arranged bail for both of them. Reva is not leaving without Shayne. Josh says he can call the Lewis family lawyer. Jeffrey says he knows that Shayne is not his son but Reva is his wife. Jeffrey says he’s going to take Reva home and there is no point for her to throw a tantrum. He’s not listening. He’s not going to let Reva or his son get hurt. Jeffrey say he’s just waiting on a fax about Shayne’s girlfriend. He tells Reva not to move.

Shayne is freaking out in the jail. Shayne’s life is private. He doesn’t need his family to bail him out. Dinah says really because Shayne is climbing the walls right now to get out. Shayne asks what the heck Dinah wants? She wants the truth. She told him in Germany now he can return the favour. Did his girlfriend dump him? Is that why she is not there? Dinah says that Shayne’s girlfriend is nowhere to be found but Dinah is. Dinah’s going to help him.

Marina and Mallet are sharing afterglow. Marina wouldn’t trade them for anything. She doesn’t feel her biological clock ticking so lets just drop the baby talk. Mallet agrees.

Blake is at Company. She calls a publisher about Coops manuscript. It’s a gem again. The publisher has 24 hours to call her back with a deal. Blake says the story is a true one about an older woman who nurtures a young writer. Blake lets on a secret or so she thinks. The woman in the story has blonde hair in reality it’s vibrant red like Blake’s. Blake smiles believing she’s the inspiration for Coop’s new book.

Coop says that Alan wanted to look over the financial documents. Coop has the paperwork but does he have a lawyer to read it. Alan says he has a lawyer right beside him now. Beth can look at it if she is not too tired. Beth agrees. Alan leaves. Beth tells Coop she thought for sure he was going to tell Alan the truth. Coop wants to. Beth can be so much more without Alan in her life. Beth’s sorry she can’t do that. She can’t leave Alan. She’s sorry if she’s hurting Coop. Beth and Coop passionately kiss as a disgusted Lizzie looks on.

Jeffrey walks in with the fax. He passes the paper to Reva. She’s heartbroken by what she reads. Shayne and Dinah enter. Shayne looks at his mother. She knows the truth. The picture of Shayne’s girlfriend has the words Deceased on it. Shayne attempts to fight the tears aside.


Preview - Lizzie letting Coop and Beth have it. Beth calling out pleading with Lizzie not to spill the beans to Alan.

Dayna's In-Depth Recap: Episode 15589, January 13, 2009

My Two Mommies

Previously : Marina and Mallet cancer scare and question of kids. Mallet suggests just trying other options. Josh telling Shayne that he is not fine. Something is holding him back. As Josh is saying this, camera flashes with a picture of the woman Shayne lost.


At the farmhouse, Olivia and Natalia are in the kitchen getting everything ready for school for Emma. Olivia is nervous for Emma because her big family presentation is today. She was working so hard. Natalia knows. Emma hid herself in her room practicing. Natalia says she has a special treat of cookies for Emma for a treat. Olivia smiles. Emma shows up. Olivia questions if Emma wants help with her project. Emma says no it's fine. It's a surprise for them. Just then the honk of the car door. Olivia has tears in her eyes as she watches Emma leave. Natalia questions. Olivia says she's not made of stone. She's proud of Emma. Natalia says she is as well. Natalia hands Olivia a cookie as well. Olivia laughs.

Mallet and Marina are at the house preparing for work. Mallet suggests something different than Chinese food tonight. They always get Chinese on Tuesday what about something different. Marina agrees but is distant as she drinks her cup of coffee. Marina says she knew that Mallet couldn't have children when she married him. Mallet gets up and says that they will figure out a way to have a baby. There are other options. They just have try. Marina agrees. She's sad as she heads off to work. Mallet calls out and says he'll bring something else back for dinner. Mallet then pulls out his phone and says that he wants to make an appointment with the doctor to talk fertility tests.

Remy and Shayne are talking in their room. The phone rings. Shayne doesn't even look but says he's not talking to Josh. How ? Remy sees that Josh has called nineteen times already. Maybe if.... Shayne says no way. Josh has to stop going behind his back and using his friends. Remy looks guilty. Remy told Josh that Shayne would figure it out. Remy is sorry for deceiving Shayne. Shayne is fine with how he is. He also doesn't need to work with Christina anymore. Shayne is fine. Remy looks at his friend.

Dinah is working her butt off at the gym when Christina comes in. Christina says that Dinah is going to work her out of a job. Christina explains that she's the trainer at the gym. Dinah continues to pump iron. Christina remarks that she's seen Dinah around with Remy. She had no clue they were so close. Dinah says she's just buddies with Remy. They were roommates a long time ago. How does Christina know Remy? Christina lies and says she's just good friends with Remy. Christina questions who all the work is for? Dinah says that she's doing it for herself. She doesn't have a guy right now. Christina says that Remy has a great friend named Shayne Lewis. Shayne is just starting to work on PT with Christina. Dinah covers her shock. Christina leaves. Dinah continues to pump iron and proceeds to drop a dumb bell on her foot because she's distracted by Shayne's news.

Only love .....

Emma arrives at class in school with her report. The teacher tells all the children to sit down and get ready for their big presentations. If they get scared just take a breath and continue on. Emma smiles at her table as she touches a picture that she drew of herself, Olivia and Natalia in the kitchen together.

Olivia and Natalia are at the farmhouse. Olivia is trying to help Natalia put dishes away. Natalia tells Olivia to go and rest. Natalia is supposed to be doing the hard work around the house. Olivia says that her heart is much better now. She can help out like lifting the laundry bag. Olivia is going to do laundry? No but that is not the point. She could do it which is the point. They are all adjusting to living together. Emma loves it. It's a good home for all of them. Olivia says she has to go to work and check on some stuff. Olivia says she will not tell Natalia I told you so when the plates fall and break on the floor. Olivia did warn her though. Natalia laughs. Natalia says fine then she is not going to mention the fact that Olivia still has toothpaste on her lip. Olivia is aghast and brushes it away. She can't help but laugh. Natalia reminds Olivia to get a warmer jacket if she's heading outside. It's out there.

Remy finds Christina back at the gym. She met his friend Dinah. She seems nice. Remy says enough with the chit chat why is Christina blowing off the MCATs which are today. Christina says she's not ditching them. Remy says hogwash. Christina says she can't very well leave her job. She has to have someone take over her shift. Remy says hogwash again because he just chatted with the assistant manager. Christina has the day off. Why does he care? He knows because she's scared of failing again. She has to have more faith in herself. Christina looks at Remy.

Dinah is grimacing at Cedars as she talks to a nurse. Dinah just needs to rest her foot and put some ice on it. She just sprained her foot with the dumbbell. Dinah thanks the nurse as she hobbles away. She almost falls over because of trying to walk with a sprained foot and high heels. She starts to fall but is caught by Mallet's strong arms.

Shayne is outside the SPD when he sees a guy manhandling his girlfriend. Shayne tells the guy to stop. He tells Shayne to buzz off. This is not the time to be a hero.

The next scene has Marina saying she'll take care of this one. She knows him personally. What is it this time? Disorderly conduct provided he keeps his mouth shut this time. Marina looks down at Shayne sitting in his chair.


At the school, a boy is finishing his presentation. The teacher asks if there is any questions. Nobody puts their hand up. Now it's Emma Spencer's turn. Emma says what makes her family unique is her two mommies. She shows a presentation. All the students and teacher are surprised.

Olivia is at Company with Frank. She challenges him to a friendly game of poker. They can donate all of her winnings to Natalia's charity. Frank says he can see she likes being room mates with Natalia. Olivia says no it's a disaster. Frank says that is hogwash. Olivia says it's horrible. She has to say prayers and grace at dinner. Olivia can barely tolerate it. Frank laughs realizing that Olivia is joking. Olivia says that Emma loves being at the house. She can't take Emma away from Natalia either. Olivia says it gets even better. She's getting better and stronger so she can move out. Frank can see that Olivia does not want to do that at all.

At Cedars, Natalia is picking up Olivia's medication when she sees Rick. She calls him Dr. Bauer. Rick laughs and says that is his dad's name. Natalia can just call him Rick. Rick says he can imagine that Natalia can't wait for Olivia to leave the house since she's getting better. Natalia says no. She loves having Olivia around. Does she want to go? Did she tell Rick something yesterday? Rick says no. Rick says that he's known Olivia for a lot of years. She was married to his best friend Phillip for a lot of years. Olivia likes the finer things in life. She's extremely high maintenance and loves all the baubles. She must hate living the low life on such a small farm. Rick says he remembered when Frank and Olivia were together. Frank is a regular guy and Olivia hated the basic life. Olivia is a high maintenance woman. Rick says of course she will not tell Natalia that because Natalia needs the money for the rent of the farm. Natalia says it's more than that or at least she thought. Rick says it's not right that Natalia is taking advantage of Olivia's generosity. Rick leaves. Natalia is stunned.

Christina is really pumping iron at the gym as Remy looks on. Christina say does this look like a scared woman. Remy says that it's a good front but still a load of hogwash. Christina doesn't want to fail again. She was studying and she had a good to honest panic attack. Remy says that Christina knows the information backwards and forwards. All the good that did last time, she failed right. So what she's not going to do it to spare herself the disappointment? Remy says that his wife is no quitter. Christina says then it's a good thing they are getting divorced right. Remy says wrong. She signed the financial aid papers not the divorce papers. She signed the papers he put in front of her. Right. Christina is beyond furious. Why because he wants his wife to have the money to go to medical school? So what they have to stay married a bit longer. Christina is beyond pissed and leaves with Remy following behind her. She has a test to take care of.

Marina takes the cuffs off of Shayne at the SPD. What is wrong with him? She's known him since they were in diapers. He went away and comes back on the day of her wedding. He doesn't even bother to congratulate her. What is wrong with him? What was he doing? That guy was manhandling his girlfriend. They were having a fight. A discussion. Shayne says it was a lot more than that. Why does he care? Couples have fights. It happens. She can call his family for him. He does have one phone call. Shayne says Marina can call the whole phone book. He's not talking to anyone about this. Marina says that there was more than that fight. Shayne wanted to get into trouble. Marina says she can't deal with this. She starts to leave and tells Shayne not to do anything more stupid. Marina leaves. Shayne puts his stuff in a bag. He pulls out the picture of his girlfriend and looks at it before he puts it in the bag.

Dinah tells Mallet at Cedars that she's sorry for bumping into him. He doesn't have to take care of her. Mallet says that is his job even when it comes to ex wives. Dinah smiles. The nurse comes out and says that the doctor will be seeing Mallet soon. Dinah is stunned because she realizes that Mallet is chatting with a fertility doc which means he and Marina. Mallet tells Dinah that he and Marina are trying to have children. Dinah is stunned.

Frank look at Olivia at Company. This makes no sense. She's getting better but she hates it? Olivia says that she moved in with Natalia so she could take care of her. If she's not sick anymore, it means she and Emma can move out. Is that why she's staying at the farm? The only reason. Emma loves the farm and actually so does Olivia. They like living there. It's a real home. It's the first place where they've felt like they belonged. Frank smiles seeing that it's good changes for Olivia as well living there. Natalia is good at making a home. If that is all she was good at then she'd be married to Frank. Frank really has no clue does he. Natalia is so much more. She isn't just a mother and waitress. She's a smart independent woman. She just needs to be pushed. Natalia is a smart capable woman. Olivia describes how when Natalia first came to work for Olivia all she did was get the dry cleaning. What did Olivia do? She pushed her and said that Natalia was going to do more. Natalia was ticked but she was soon doing staff meetings alone. She's incredible at it. Frank needs to see not what Natalia just is but who she can be which is so much more.

Shayne is close to the jail at the SPD. Marina says that this is his last chance. She can call Josh for him. Shayne again says no way. He would love a pizza though. Marina says funny. He doesn't want anyone there. He's fine. Marina pushes Shayne into his cell. He's going to have her help whether he likes it or not. Marina steps out and locks the door. Shayne looks at her.

It's awkward between Mallet and Dinah at Cedars. Dinah can see that Mallet must really love Marina if....he's going to try to have children with her. Mallet says that Marina will be an incredible mother. He wants to give that to her. Mallet is willing to look at all options to make it happen. Dinah is impressed. Marina wants a family but she still married Mallet knowing he couldn't have kids. They .... It wasn't in the cards for Dinah and Mallet. Dinah will find Mr. Right. He's out there for her as well. The nurse comes out. He can see Mallet now. Mallet heads in. He asks Dinah to wish him luck which she does. Mallet leaves. Dinah's phone rings. It's Marina. Marina needs her help with Shayne. Shayne needs someone here with him at the SPD. Will she come? Marina looks over at Shayne.


Emma shows pictures that she has drawn of her family. The teacher thanks her and tells the children that even though Emma's family life is different they should still be respectful. Do the kids have questions? The kids ask and Emma says she loves having two mommies. It's a lot of fun. Emma smiles at all the questions.

Olivia returns home to the farmhouse. She looks at picture of Natalia and then touches the rosary. She smiles. Just then Natalia comes in. Natalia says she has to say sorry. She's sorry for taking advantage of Emma because Rafe is not home. She shouldn't be doing that. Olivia says she's the one who is sorry. She barged into Natalia's home. Natalia could have just helped her at the hotel but she opened up her home. Natalia is sorry she's keeping Olivia away from her real life. Emma loves living at the farm and so does Olivia. Olivia doesn't want to leave. She wants to stay. Can she stay? Of course. This is her home. Natalia wants both of them to stay. Olivia and Natalia hug.

Christina works on the MCATs. She writes the answers down quickly. Remy paces outside just as nervous for Christina.

Shayne is in jail at the SPD when Dinah shows up. Marina called her? Dinah makes the crack that Shayne must love the SPD. He's there so much. Shayne tells Dinah she needs a hobby other than him. He suggests knitting. Dinah questions why he can't figure out why this is not about him. Can he just let her help him? Shayne looks at Dinah.

Olivia is sitting in the living room when Natalia brings a box of tissue in for both of them. Who would have though that they would both love living together as a family. Olivia has tears in her eyes. What is it? It's not just Emma. It's Olivia as well. She loves having a home. Emma rushes in. The presentation went so great. Everyone loved it. She has a piece of paper for them. It's an invitation to family night at the school. Olivia smiles at Natalia. Natalia suggests hot chocolate to celebrate.

Christina leaves the school pissed off at herself. She just blew through the test and probably failed again. Why did she do that? Remy tells Christina that she passed. She knows that better than anyone. Christina realizes that Remy purposely pissed her off. Well if she's thinking about him then she's not thinking about her nerves for the test? Christina is ticked. Remy suggests something warm since it's so cold outside.

Mallet and Marina are at Cedars. They find out that it's a no go with kids naturally. Mallet can't do the work. Marina say she's fine. Mallet is devastated. Marina says there is other ways right. The doctor says there is. The doctor hands Marina some pamphlets. They both knew it was a long shot. Mallet is fine but it's not over. They are going to find a way to have a baby.

Dinah and Shayne look at each other at the SPD. Shayne tells Dinah to buzz off. Dinah agrees. She heads out. The guard says it's weird that Shayne has not even bothered to call his girlfriend yet. Girlfriend? There is a pretty picture of her in the personal effects. Dinah is stunned. Dinah takes out her phone. She and Josh have to talk.

Preview - Shayne is in jail and Reva is across from him. Josh arrives. Reva says that Shayne wasn't going to talk to him so she figures she can stay across from him until he does. Josh and Reva start arguing. Shayne tells them to stop. Mallet then throws Josh in jail. Why is he doing that? The Lewis clan is a pain in the butt.

Journey To The Truth

Previously - Alan pushing the buyout on Bill. Bill knows what Alan wants. What does Lizzie want? Alan telling Hinkle what he wants. Remy pulling the switcheroo with the divorce and aid papers so Christina can get her grant.

At the Farmhouse, Olivia is touched that Rick is stopping by to do a check up. Rick says that he has great news about her recovery. Recovery? Olivia never thought that she would hear those words. Rick says it's great because then Olivia can move out right. She's only staying with Natalia because of the help right. Olivia and Natalia can finally part ways. Olivia is not to sure by that concept.

Outside Cedars, Remy is on the phone after his shift when Christina shows up. How was his shift? It was fine but long. Christina tells Remy that she needs the papers back. Papers? The divorce papers. No the financial aid papers. They can't stay married so she can get her loan that is not right. Its wrong to do. Christina figures that she mind as well give it to her friend Tonya who is married. She can use them. So where are the papers? Remy questions how he's going to talk his way out of this one.

In his room, Shayne is shooting paper balls using the newspaper as he's drinking a beer.

Shayne stops when he sees the date on the newspaper. It isn't already that time. Shayne heads over and looks at his private journal. There is a picture of a candle with the words remember on January 12th. Shayne shakes his head. He's lost in thought of that day when he hears a knock on the door. It's Josh. Josh wants to come in. Shayne lets his father in. Josh says it's a beautiful day out there. Shayne didn't know that. Josh knows that because Shayne is stuck in his wheelchair. Josh is going to help Shayne with that. Josh drops off a box with a ton of books inside. They figured it out this time and they are going to do it this time. Shayne is fine with the fact that he can't walk. Josh can't believe that. He refuses to believe that. Shayne is just too comfortable being in his wheelchair. Shayne tells his father to buzz off. Josh says that if Shayne wants to toss Josh out, he's going to have to stand up to do it. If not then Josh is not leaving.

Bill and Lizzie are waiting in Spaulding Lewis for Dr. Hinkle to show up. He's late for their appointment. Bill says again that Daisy really thinks this could work. It could help him get his memory back. It's worth the wait. Lizzie agrees. Bill thanks Lizzie for staying around. He knows how hard it must be for her to go through this again. Lizzie says she just hopes that they get an answer rather than more questions. Bill questions about the buy out papers. Lizzie says she has them but they can stay by her side until they are done. Bill agrees. Lizzie says once they are signed.... Bill and Lizzie both understand that this means that it will be final between them. Bill says he's going to call Dr. Hinkle. Lizzie is nervous as Bill calls Dr. Hinkle's number. Dr. Hinkle's phone rings just as he's talking to Alan. Alan explains that Dr. Hinkle would be doing a favour for Lizzie. Bill makes Lizzie's life hell. He would be saving her. Hinkle says that lying is very unethical. Alan says there would be more harm if the truth came out. The truth has to stay locked away. Alan says that he can ease Dr. Hinkle's guilt with a bit of cash. Alan is a very wealthy man who could make Dr. Hinkle's life a lot more easier or.....Dr. Hinkle gets the point. Alan says think about that before he answers the phone. Bill says that it's weird that Dr. Hinkle is not answering him. Bill and Lizzie lie saying that the believe it will be good news. When it's good news then both of them can celebrate together. It's clear neither of them believe that. If it's the other side.... Lizzie is not sure what they will do.

Only Love....

Alan and Dr. Hinkle are still talking. Alan takes the phone away. Dr. Hinkle says he has to answer it. Alan says he can fund all of Dr. Hinkle's practice if he just helps him. Dr. Hinkle says he's can't do that. He takes the phone and tells Bill he's sorry for being late. He'll be there in a bit. Alan warns Dr. Hinkle not to disappoint him or else....Bill tells Lizzie that doctor is on his way. Lizzie questions what is going to happen. Will he put Bill in a trance? Bill says that if he starts clucking like a chicken then wake him up. Bill is nervous because there is a lot at stake. He wants the best answer that he didn't hurt Lizzie but if...it's not that. Lizzie can't hear that. Bill says that he had to have been mental or possessed to do that to Lizzie. Bill knows how much he loves Lizzie so much. Lizzie says the main thing it will be cleared up. It's clear they are hoping for the best answer from the session.

Outside Cedars, Remy is off thinking of what to say when Christina pushes him. She questions if there is something wrong with the papers. Is he paying attention to her ? Of course but the problem is the papers are gone. Remy wanted to do his part to help the environment, so he tossed them in the recycling bin. O.k. so they can just go get them out of the bin. They were already taken away. The divorce papers? Remy is going to take them off to the post office today to file them. They will both be free then. Christina lies and says that is a good thing. Remy lies and agrees saying they will miss all those family fights and problems. It's all for the best. Christina says that marriage is sacred. They shouldn't be married so she can get a loan. Christina questions when the papers will be final? He can call her when that happens. Christina says she can just get some other papers for her friend. Remy says that they should get going.

Rick and Olivia are at the Farmhouse. Rick says that all sounds good. Where is Emma? She's upstairs working on a project for school about her family. Emma loves living in the farmhouse. She gets to run around and play. They laugh all the time together here. Emma really deserves it after the life she had. Rick says he still can't imagine a high maintenance woman like Olivia living in a farmhouse. Olivia says that she didn't grow up rich. Everyone deserves to live in a real home. She would really hate to take this away from Emma.

In Shayne's room, Josh says that there is all sorts of news and new treatments about Shayne's condition. They can even fly around the world if necessary to try out other treatments. Shayne says he's fine with his condition. Josh can't believe that his son is so passive. Shayne is just too comfortable in that wheelchair. Shayne rolls his eyes because he can hear the sermon coming. Shayne makes the crack that should they be passing around the collection plate now. Shayne tells Josh that he is not his next cause. Shayne is fine with it. Josh gives a very passionate speech as to why Shayne should fight to walk again. Josh doesn't understand why Shayne doesn't want to fight. Shayne pushes it aside. Josh says fine if Shayne has a treatment plan in place then tell Josh all about it. If not then Josh is going to help his son whether Shayne likes it or not. Josh says that he's not going to let Shayne waste away in his chair. It gets very heated between Josh and Shayne just as Remy and Christina enter. They could hear the yelling in the hall. Do they need an EMT or a referee? Josh says he wants to get his son out of his chair. Shayne says that is not Josh's job. Josh says that it is because he's Shayne's father. Shayne is not going to do it. Josh questions why Shayne feels like he's such a failure that he will not fight. Shayne bristles at the comment. Remy and Christina intervene saying there is another option rather than Josh and Shayne getting into a complete fight. Christina is a physical therapist. She can work with Shayne. Josh says that is not going to work. It's not enough. They have to do more. Shayne surprises Josh and agrees to Christina's treatment if it means that Josh will get off his back.

Dr. Hinkle arrives at Spaulding Lewis. He greets Bill and Lizzie. Bill says that he's glad that he can help. Lizzie says that she really believes that Bill is innocent. Dr. Hinkle says that he knows what he's read from the newspaper. Can Bill and Lizzie tell him anymore? Bill says that is about it. Bill's drawing a blank on it all. Dr. Hinkle says that they are going to start at the start of the kidnapping saga and move forward. Lizzie is going to help them go in the right direction. Hopefully then they can unlock Bill's memories. Dr. Hinkle has to tell Lizzie something first about Alan. Lizzie can guess what Alan said. Ignore him. While this is happening, Alan sneaks into a room and pulls out a two way radio. He eavesdrops on the session. Alan is not rational when it comes to Lizzie and Bill. They need Dr. Hinkle's help. He's the only way. Dr. Hinkle says that by putting Lizzie close to Bill, they can help trigger memories to come forward. Bill and Lizzie sit down in chairs far apart. Dr. Hinkle says they have to sit much closer. Lizzie reluctantly moves closer to Bill. He says that it's time to begin as Alan listens.

In Shayne's room, Josh continues to huff and puff about the treatment saying it's not enough. Christina says it's time for Josh to leave. It's not going to be easy for Shayne. It's going to be tough and arduous. Josh leaves with Remy. As the door closes, Josh turns to Remy and says thanks. Remy says that is what teamwork is all about. It becomes clear that Josh and Remy were in cahoots. Shayne has no clue what happened. Josh says that if it was obvious then it would never work. Shayne would have stopped it right away. Josh realizes that Dinah was right the other day with her advice at Towers. Josh tells Remy that he needs to buy him that drink to say thanks. Josh and Remy leave.

In Spaulding Lewis, Lizzie looks at Bill sitting still in his chair. Is he in a trance? He's in a complete state of calm right now. Dr. Hinkle directs Bill to go back to the day of the presentation when he was going to get everything. How was he feeling? Bill was angry at Lizzie. Lizzie is ticked by the comment. Why would he be angry at her? There was no way that she could help being kidnapped. Dr. Hinkle presses Bill. What was he angry about? Was it a general anger that would lead to Bill doing something to Lizzie? Bill says that he's looking at his watch and notes. When someone mentioned Lizzie's name, he was furious. What was Bill going to do with this anger? Was he going to go find Lizzie and act on the anger. Bill becomes agitated. He doesn't know. It's blank. Lizzie is ticked by the insinuation by Bill. Lizzie presses Bill. How can he forget such a big moment unless it doesn't matter to him? Dr. Hinkle tries to tell Lizzie that it's a journey towards the truth. They are not there yet. Bill say he can't find Lizzie. She is just out of reach. Where is Lizzie? Bill's not sure. Dr. Hinkle stops that train of thought. The ransom note when it came Bill's family said that he was gone for a long time. Where was he? Alan is smirking listening over the radio. Bill is driving his car fast. He knows that Lizzie is there. Lizzie is stunned. Bill says she's tied up. Lizzie gets agitated now and asks all sorts of questions on where she is. Dr. Hinkle tells Lizzie not to lead Bill on. Bill's not sure what happened. Lizzie asks about the person. Someone was there. The person was nice to her. Bill was there. Bill remembers. He can't quite reach her. Dr. Hinkle says that is not a memory that is a hope. There is a difference. Lizzie pushes Bill does he remember rescuing her. Does he know who the second person was that had her? Bill is getting anxious. Lizzie keeps pushing. Bill says he has to get Lizzie to safety. Does he remember rescuing her and telling her that he loved her? Bill says that they have to escape? Dr. Hinkle pushes. From the police or from the kidnappers? Bill says they have to get out of there. Dr. Hinkle says that Bill is getting to agitated. They have to pull him out of the trance. Dr. Hinkle tells Lizzie that the memories are so far buried that he's not sure if they will be able to get them. Bill wakes up and sees the sadness on Lizzie's face. Was there anything? Lizzie pulls away. She can't look at Bill. Alan smirks. Dr. Hinkle says he can't help. Bill is blocking the memories to come forward. Bill says there has to be a way to pull the memories out. Lizzie says that they are done. Bill looks at Lizzie.

Josh tells Remy thanks for the help as they drink coffee by the lake. Remy says that Shayne is his friend. He just hated lying to him. Josh says that maybe a white lie is not so bad if it means that Shayne is helped. Granted Josh is going to go to hell for it but he has to fight for his son. Josh says that Shayne is refusing to fight. Something is holding him back so strong. Lie is not so bad when then intentions are right. Remy hopes so because he kind of told a fib to Christina about their divorce. Remy didn't send the divorce papers off. Christina has had it so hard. If they stay married, she can get this grant for school. Remy says he has the right intentions but he's probably going to hell as well.

In the gym, Christina is pushing Shayne to lift his legs.

Shayne is fighting against it. Christina counts down from five. Shayne tells her to slow down. Christina continues to one then tells Shayne to rest. She tells Shayne he did a good job. Now they can begin his treatment with smaller weights. Shayne says he can't do more. Christina says if they push this time then the next will be better. Shayne wants to leave. They've only been working for 15 minutes. Shayne needs to keep going. Shayne says he can make a deal with her. He'll tell Josh that Christina made him work his butt off if she will just let him go early. Christina says she's not helping him to make Josh happy. She's trying to help Shayne. When is there next appointment? Next Thursday at the same time. Christina says that Shayne has so much strength in him. He can do this. He can walk again if he wants to.

Alan arrives back at the Mansion all giddy. He calls Jeremy and says he has a job. There is a package that Jeremy needs to grab for Lizzie. It's in the attic.

Bill says they can work on another plan to get his memory back. Lizzie says for what the same results? Lizzie can't do this anymore. Who are they kidding? Lizzie is in tears. Bill hates hurting Lizzie like this. He hates disappointing her. He's sorry. Lizzie says she's tired of him being sorry. Lizzie says there is nothing else to do. She can't do this. Lizzie leaves. Bill pulls out the buy out papers and a pen. He considers signing the papers.

Rick is at the Farmhouse still with Olivia. Is she happy there? She doesn't miss sleeping on satin sheets. He knows her. She wants more than just the farmhouse. Olivia laughs. Rick leaves. Olivia looks around and touches the plates. Is this all she wants?

Remy and Josh continue their talk by the water. Josh wishes Remy good luck with his problem. Remy says he should just tear up the divorce papers. Josh says there is another option. Is Remy wanting to stay married just because of the money or is there more? Remy laughs and questions why everyone is asking that. Josh say that he has some advice since Josh has been married more times then he cares to remember. Josh says really think before you sign those divorce papers. Is it what you want? Be sure first. Josh leaves.

Shayne is in his room and he wheels over to the table. He pulls out the journal and looks at the remember page. He goes to rip it out and tear it up but can't do it. It hurts too much. Shayne puts the page back in the journal. The sadness is clearly evident on his face.

Alan is giddy at the Mansion when Lizzie shows up. Lizzie reams out her grandfather for interfering. Alan tells Lizzie that the pain will pass. He knows this from experience. Lizzie is so tired. She's not sure if she can be strong anymore. Alan says take that pain and focus it elsewhere. Alan unveils the model of Springfield. Lizzie recognizes it. It belonged to Phillip. Phillip was sick but he had dreams and visions for what Springfield could become. Lizzie should focus all that hurt and anger and make herself the most powerful woman in Springfield. She's not sure how. Alan says she can lean on him. He'll teach her and lead her. Alan wraps his arm around his granddaughter. Bill looks down from the study at Bill and Lizzie. Bill wraps up the signed contract. He's not going to give it to Lizzie yet.

Preview - Natalia and Olivia preparing Emma's lunch. They are sending her off to school. Olivia is worried about her daughter. It's a big thing doing a presentation. Does Emma want to show her mother? Emma says no it's a surprise for both of them. Emma goes to school and shows her presentation of her family entitled " My Two Mommies." The teacher looks at the class and asks if there is any questions. All the kids put up their hand.

All About Family

Previously - Lizzie leaves Bill at the press conference. Lizzie tells Cyrus that she and Bill are done. Lizzie hires Cyrus at Spaulding Lewis. Cyrus questions about Bill being innocent. Mallet finding out that he may have melanoma.

At Cedars, Mallet is talking to the doctor while Marina is waiting outside. Reva comes up and sees Marina.

Marina asks if Shayne is OK. Reva asks why? Marina is just worried. Reva congratulates Marina on her wedding to Mallet. Marina says that Shayne seems different since he got home. Marina says she's probably reading too much into it. Reva says that Shayne is not talking to anyone about what happened overseas. Reva questions if Mallet is OK. Marina says it's just some routine tests. Reva knows the feeling. She's had those same types of tests.

Mallet meanwhile is in with the doctor.

He can't have cancer. Mallet says what happens if he does?

The doc says they are going to do a biopsy of the tissue from the mole. Moles on the back are a common spot for melanoma in men. Mallet is scared by the news. Mallet says that he just came in for a regular physical. He can't have cancer. Mallet worries about Marina. The doctor questions if Mallet uses sunscreen. Mallet says sometimes. He usually just tans evenly. The doctor says it's important for people to know the risks about skin cancer.

At Company, Remy comes and sees Christina.

He's surprised to see her. Christina understands. She's sort of been underground studying.

He tried to call her. She knows but she needed to concentrate and study. She didn't want him to distract her with calling. Then she'd be waiting for when he called and it would take up her. Remy smirk so she waits for his phone calls. Christina says of course because of the divorce and stuff. Christina tells Remy that she's going to have another chance at the MCATs. Remy is so excited that he picks Christina up in his arms and twirls her around.


Grady and Daisy are in Ashlee's apartment. Daisy is on the phone.

She tells the person that she will call soon. She just has to talk to him first. Daisy writes down the number. Grady notices. Grady walks over and assumes the phone call was about him. No, It's about Bill. She found this cheesy ad in the newspaper about this hypnotist. He can possibly unlock memories about the kidnapping and help Bill remember if he did it or not. Daisy says she will talk to Grady later. She has to go find Bill.


Alan arrives at Bill's room at the Beacon.

Alan has a buyout contract that he wants Bill to sign.

Lizzie wants him out of Spaulding Lewis?

Alan says it's a fair offer. Bill should be a stand up man and take it. He would save Lizzie a lot of pain. Does Lizzie want this? Alan says that he's given Lizzie the paperwork.


Cyrus arrives for his first day of work at Spaulding Lewis. He walks in and finds Lizzie sitting at her desk looking at the paperwork.

Lizzie looks up and remarks that she likes the suit. Cyrus questions about the paperwork.

Lizzie says it's a buyout deal for Bill. Alan asked her about it. She couldn't do it. If she does it then Bill is out of her life. Cyrus questions if Lizzie wants that even if Bill is not the man who kidnapped her? Lizzie isn't sure.

Christina is really nervous about the MCATs as she and Remy grab coffees at Company.

She is feeling all the stress of the tests, divorce and holidays. Remy offers to pay for the coffee. Christina says she can do that herself. Remy asks if she can buy his as well. He only has two dollars. What is he doing with only two dollars and a bunch of credit cards? It's no big deal there is an ATM across the street. Christina says what if there is an emergency and he needs cash quick. What is he going to do then?. Christina is going a mile a minute. Remy tells her to calm down.

He can see why she failed the MCATS. She's so stressed out about everything. She puts way too much pressure on herself. If she doesn't think about it then she's under even more pressure. Remy says they have to go together. Where? Remy says he wouldn't be a proper husband if he didn't help his wife with her test. He has an idea. Christina looks at Remy and leaves with him.

Marina and Reva are at Cedars still waiting for Mallet.

Marina says that Reva is so brave doing the pregnancy while fighting cancer. Reva says the man that is brave is her son though Shayne would never admit it. The man is brave that runs into a house and saves people.

Reva has no choice. She has to do this. She's so scared some days that she wants to run the other way but she can't because of her baby boy. Marina congrats Reva on her son. Reva didn't want a little girl. Reva says no she's kind of attached to her son. The little guy is helping her fight her cancer. He's bolstering her immune ability. Reva says that it true love. She doesn't even know the kid and he's helping save her life. Is Mallet and Marina planning on having kids? Marina says that probably is not possible. Reva says look at her. Anything is possible. She sure didn't think she'd be pregnant this late in her life. She didn't think that she would have to fight cancer for a second time. She sure didn’t' think that this little guy would be helping her fight her cancer. Miracles do happen. Marina can't give up on those. A miracle can happen. Marina leaves. Reva starts walking.
Mallet has all sorts of questions for the doctor.

What happens now? They will run some tests. And if it's cancer? They will do more tests and x-rays to see how far cancer has spread. If it's just a small spot then they remove that and everything is fine. If it's spread? Then it's chemo and radiation but the doctor tells Mallet not to get that far ahead of himself. Mallet says he can't do that to his wife. He's a newlywed. They were supposed to have a long life together. The doctor again reminds Mallet that it could be nothing. It may not be melanoma.

Mallet looks over and sees Reva. Mallet questions if Reva heard that. She did. Mallet asks Reva not to tell anyone. Reva agrees after all who would she tell. Reva can see that look in Mallet's eye. He can't do that. He has to tell Marina about it. It's a bad idea if he doesn't.


Lizzie and Cyrus are at Spaulding Lewis.


She didn't ask him here to help with the buyout paperwork. She needs help finding out the truth about who kidnapped her. By asking him for his help she admits that she had doubts. She says it was impossible fighting for Bill and against everyone else. Now she finds out that she was fighting for Bill and he had no clue if he did it or not. Cyrus again says it's possible that Bill is innocent. She felt so empty and alone when Bill was in the coma. Now Bill is out of his coma and around. All she feels is pain now. She's not sure which is worse the pain or emptiness. Bill says that is the answer he was regretting to hear from her.

Cyrus looks over and sees Bill at the doorway. Cyrus leaves but stops and looks at Lizzie first. Bill says that he thought the break up would be enough to save her pain but it's not enough. He can't just come to work and see her every day. He should have known that. Bill says that he has the papers. Alan gave them to him. Bill knows what Alan wants. What does Lizzie want?

Lizzie questions if Bill is any closer to getting his memory back about what happened. Bill says no.

Outside in the hallway, Cyrus runs into Daisy.
Daisy is surprised to see him there. Cyrus explains that he works for Lizzie at Spaulding Lewis now. Daisy questions if Bill and Lizzie are both there. Cyrus says they are in the boardroom right now. Daisy can't go in there. Daisy has to. This is something that can't wait. Daisy pushes past Cyrus. Cyrus questions what he missed.


Alan is working in the study in the Spaulding Mansion when Grady shows up.



Grady hands Alan the paperwork with Dr. Winkle's number on it. Alan has to do something about Lizzie. Daisy has this hair brained idea about Bill getting his memory back. That can't happen.

Mallet tells Reva at Cedars that he feels so helpless.


Where is Marina? She's headed to the cafeteria. Reva says she can see the doubt. He has to tell Marina the truth. It's where it starts. You figure you can't tell them about the possibility of cancer to protect them. Then when you find out that it's a reality and you have chemo, you can't tell them still. What happens when you really need them? Does he want to drop that bomb on Marina? Marina would be destroyed by the news. Reva says that Mallet can't give the cancer that power. If he doesn't watch it he could lose his marriage and everything because of the lies. Mallet wants to protect Marina. The possibility will just make him scared. He wants her to be happy and protected. Mallet loves Marina more than life. If he does then he has to respect her. He has to believe that they can deal with it together than apart. Reva reminds Mallet that it may not even be cancer. If he doesn't tell Marina, then he's cheating her of being there for him. If he loves Marina enough then he should hold onto that love with everything inside of him. That's what love is going through the battles together. Marina returns. Reva tells Mallet he has to tell Marina the news. Reva leaves. Mallet says he has to tell Marina something.


Christina and Remy arrive back at his apartment. Christina says what he wants to get her into bed? Remy tells Christina to sit down.

He doesn't know the material either. Remy tells Christina to close her eyes.

He wants her to try visualization. She has to keep quiet. Christina tries to talk. Remy says relax and calm down. She needs to be quiet and go to that place where she can relax in her mind. It's sort of a vacation in your head. She has to make a place where she can go when everything else is in chaos and she gets overwhelmed. Remy can see Christina relaxing.

He tells her to take a couple of deep breaths. Christina lies and says she's there. Remy says she's a liar. Remy stands behind Christina and massages her shoulders.

He tells her to relax and take deep breathes. Christina says she's found the place. She feels a lot better. How did he do that? His mom the shrink. So, what is his place? Christina then sees the divorce papers. He was going to tell her about them. Remy says they are almost finished. They just have sign them then they are divorced.

At the Spaulding Mansion, Grady tells Alan about the hypnotist.

Grady says this could be bad for them. Alan corrects Grady and says it could be worse for Grady not Alan.

Alan is not in this as much as Grady. Alan says he can't help Grady this time either. Alan explains that Cyrus agreed to stop blackmailing Alan if Alan stopped working with Grady. Now it would be very bad for Alan if he started working for Grady again. He can't just do that. It would cost him a lot. Grady reminds Alan that it will cost both of them if Alan does nothing. Grady leaves. Alan picks up the phone and asks his investigator to dig up whatever dirt he can on a Dr. Winkle.


Lizzie and Bill are still talking at Spaulding Lewis.

It's funny you work on a deal and then everything changes in a moment. Lizzie's phone rings. Lizzie says she can go get the papers and drop them off. Lizzie says she has to go. Bill questions if it's the Decker deal? Lizzie can't talk and leaves. Bill looks at the paper questioning if should just sign it. Daisy shows up and asks where Lizzie is?

She just left. What is Daisy doing there? Daisy has a way that Bill can get his memory back.

She has a line on a hypnotist that can help. Bill laughs that is a nice thought. What is he supposed to do count back to 10 then cluck like a chicken? Daisy says that hypnotism has vastly improved in the last couple of years. She called the guy. He saw Lizzie and Bill on TV. He agreed to treat Bill but there is a catch. Lizzie has to be there. Bill says no way he can't ask Lizzie to do that. Daisy says that Lizzie has to be there. It's his best chance to get his memory back. Bill again says no. He can't do that to Lizzie. Daisy says they can know the truth and stop the torture. It's too big of a risk. Daisy says it's hope.

Alan is on the phone getting dirt on the doctor when Lizzie shows up.

She has to deal with the Macau mess. She has to find the press kit and send it to Decker's assistant. She should have just had Cyrus come to the house to get the paperwork. Alan questions again about Cyrus working for Lizzie. Lizzie starts to say that Bill was there. So he saw the paperwork? Did Bill sign it? Just then Lizzie's phone rings.


It's Bill. Bill questions if Lizzie is already coming back to the house. He needs her help with something. He doesn't want to talk about it on the phone. She agrees and leaves. Alan mutters a curse.

In the living room, Cyrus walks in to see Grady lighting candles.

What is he doing there? What is Cyrus doing in the monkey suit?

He works for Lizzie. So she had him put on a suit? Nobody tells Cyrus what to do. Grady says that Alan told him about Cyrus' deal. Alan is not involving Grady in anything now. Cyrus looks at his brother.

Remy and Christina are talking in the apartment about the divorce.

It's what the both want. It was a lot easier then he thought it would be. It's what she wants right? Of course. Christina says it's ironic because she got her paperwork for financial aid if she gets into medical school. She will. Christina says she was thinking ahead. The irony is she doesn't qualify now. She has to be married to get the loan. Remy says that they are married. Christina says not really. It would be wrong to lie to get the loan.


Marina is stunned by Mallet's news at Cedars.

Melanoma? If it is then how far? What happens if it has spread? Mallet reminds Marina not to get too far ahead of herself.

How can Marina not be worried about Mallet? Mallet says let them do the test. Don't get 8 steps ahead. Marina asks where the doctor is. She has a ton of questions. Mallet says they can do it together. They can get through this together. Marina says that she had so many adventures planned for them. She planned on getting old with him. Mallet says that they will do all of them together. Marina loves Mallet so much. Mallet does as well. Marina thanks Mallet for telling her the truth. Mallet says he got some pretty good advice when he saw Reva.

Reva watches Mallet and Marina the smiles. Reva leaves. Marina says she's not sure what she would do without Mallet. He's the one that holds everything together for their family. Just then Mallet and Marina see the doctor. That was fast for the test results. Both Mallet and Marina are nervous. Mallet and Marina go in and see the doctor. He tells Mallet that there was no cancer in the test sample. Mallet is relieved. Marina is in tears.

Mallet has to come in for follow-ups and has to wear sunscreen. He has a very pretty wife to worry about. The doctor tells Marina that Mallet mentioned her a lot.

The nurse will come into see them. Marina laughs a lot of times? Yeah, it was good that he came in for a physical. There were a few moments there that he was thinking what if. What if he died? It's funny since they both work as cops. There is always the threat of death with their work. They have both been through dicey situations before. He just came in on a Friday afternoon to have a test and was faced with this news. Marina says she was just talking to Reva. Mallet thinks about what if he was gone and he had left Marina alone? He wouldn't have a legacy to leave behind. Mallet says that Reva got her miracle baby why can't they have one as well?


Remy and Christina talk in the hallway. What would she have to do for the aid? They are already been married for two months. What is the rush to file for divorce? What if the truth came out? What truth? She likes his family. Loretta likes him. It makes no sense to get divorced now. Remy says maybe this was meant to be. Remy says sometimes little things happen for a reason to show what is most important in life.

Christina says there is a difference between real and fraud. What is not real? They could hang out together for a while longer. It's wrong. Then they should sign the papers. Does he have a pen? Remy shows Christina a pen. They have to both sign the divorce papers. Does he have a pen? She can't seem to find her pen. Remy passes her a pen. Christina does a flimsy signature.

Christina and Remy look at each other unsure about the divorce now.

Cyrus and Grady are walking outside.

Grady is not angry at Cyrus for going to Alan and doing what he did. He went to Alan for a favour.

Cyrus questions what but Grady brushes it off.


It's shouldn't matter. He's got a job and Daisy in his life. Sometimes he is his own worst enemy. Cyrus seems to be the only one that can see that. Cyrus says he can see it because he was there before for a long time. Cyrus says it would be nice if they were not enemies but instead brothers more. Grady says that is a good idea. Cyrus says that he saw Daisy at Spaulding Lewis. Grady says thanks again and leaves.


Daisy hands the report of the hypnosis to Lizzie at Spaulding Lewis.

She knows it sounds crazy but wouldn't you do anything to get the truth. Even though Lizzie should already know it in her heart that Bill didn't do it. This way they can have proof. Hypnosis has come a long way. Winkle can do. Bill says he can do it alone but there is a better chance that he will remember if Lizzie is there as well. Lizzie isn't sure. Daisy leaves. Bill tries to talk to Lizzie.

Bill says he knows it's hard. It's hard waking up not having her there beside him. It's hard doing the daily stuff without her there. They both want an answer. What if it's not the answer they want? Bill says there is still a chance. Lizzie looks at Bill.

Mallet and Marina arrive back at their house.

Mallet now wants to talk to every specialist about finding out about how to have a baby. Before he didn't even want to do a physical. Mallet says after the accident he took it for granted that the doctor was right that he couldn't. He's scared because of what the doctor said. Mallet wants to do this for Marina because he's seen her with Peyton. She would be such a wonderful mother to their child. Marina agrees to take the chance. They will not know unless they try.

Remy and Christina talk outside his room.

He will call when the divorce papers are finalized. He can't wait to return to bachelorhood. Christina and Remy joke then she decides to leave. Remy will call her. Christina's phone will be off because she will be studying. She knows she can do it. Christina leaves then. Remy heads inside and looks at the aid papers. He's got another idea as he looks at the divorce papers.

At Spaulding Lewis, Lizzie questions if Bill stayed there the whole time.

If he did then why didn't he bother to sign the papers. Bill says that they have to know before they do that. Lizzie agrees to hold off while they get the info. She has no clue what is next.


Alan arrive outside Dr. Winkle's office and says he wants to talk to him.
