Dayna's In-depth Recap: Episode 15729, Tuesday, August 4, 2009

Bill Lizzie Part 1



Bill and Lizzie are looking around at their new house. Bill says that they are going to have to get central air because it's so hot. They will have to use fans for now. Lizzie works on a list of jobs that needs to get done. They knew what they were getting themselves into right. It will be a perfect place for their family. Bill walks in and shows Lizzie the fan on the floor. That will do for now. Lizzie and Bill sigh at the cool air. Bill says that all newlyweds need something when they buy a house. A bed. Bill pulls out their bed: an air mattress. Lizzie asks what the heck that is. Bill says that he can figure it out. He turns on the fan but it's still soft. Bill will figure it out. He adjusts the fan and blows a fuse so there is no power.

Beth is at the mini mart shopping for Lizzie and Bill when she runs into Matt. He asks where she is going. Beth mentions about the old house. Matt knows. Beth is helping out the kids since they are ambitious and want to do the work while staying there. Staying there? There is a lot of problems with that old house like no running water. The boiler room is a disaster. Beth drops her stuff in worry. Matt will help her pick the stuff up.

Bill and Lizzie are hot so they sit in the bathroom. What are they going to do with a place with no electricity. They can call an electrician. They will be able to handle it. Lizzie says she can handle no TV or other luxuries but not having a fan in August is a whole other thing. Lizzie suggests staying somewhere else while they work on the house. Bill says he has a way to cool off his wife. He cools her down with a wet cloth as the temperature rises.

Bill Lizzie Part 2



Beth and Matt arrive at the old house and call out Bill and Lizzie's name. Bill and Lizzie blush as they walk out wearing robes. Matt and Beth realizes that they interrupted the newlyweds. Lizzie attempts to explain but fuddles with her words. Bill tells his bride to stop while she's ahead of releasing too much information. What are they doing there? Matt and Beth were bringing supplies. There is more for them in the car. Matt came to offer his contracting skills to help put the place back on it's feet. Bill and Lizzie ask to be given a second to make themselves presentable. Bill asks since Matt is there could he turn the power back on for them. Matt and Beth look at each other.

Matt tells Bill sorry for the awkward timing. Is Matt ready to take on a project? He wants something happy to work on. Bill and Lizzie will be staying put while the renovations happen. It will be messy. This is their home. Bill wants to do some of the work as well. Matt is impressed. This will be a lot of fun.

Beth and Lizzie chat as Lizzie asks about Phillip. Beth says that nothing is happening there. Lizzie says it's clear that Phillip still loves Beth. Beth says that he may but he's clearly told her that they are not going there. He has called once from his road trip with Alan. They were at a baseball park eating crackerjacks. Lizzie laughs. She knows that her mother spoke English but it didn't sound right. Lizzie doesn't get the meaning of the trip. Beth says that they will know more when Alan and Phillip return.

Bill and Lizzie are relaxing in their chairs. It will be spectacular when they have the house finished. It's going to take a long time. Does Lizzie really want to stay? She does if he does. It's going to be an adventure for them. Just then Lizzie and Bill hear water dripping. A lot of water dripping. Bill walks into the bedroom and sees a leak from the ceiling where the bathroom is upstairs. Bill comes out all wet and tells Lizzie. She can't help but laugh. Bill says he will call Matt to fix it up.

Alan Part 1



Phillip is standing on the balcony of the study in the living room of the Spaulding Mansion. He laughs as Lizzie and Bill negotiate how many kids they are going to have. Bill says ten. Lizzie says eight. Bill says nine but that includes Sarah as well. Bill asks about the housewarming party. Lizzie wants the whole town there since everyone threw them the wedding. Phillip then sees Alan talking to James about a new picture. Alan is very impressed with his grandson. This is exactly what the company needs. Alan then walks over to a picture of Phillip. Phillip realizes in horror that this is his wake as Alan reminds everyone why they are there. Phillip wakes up then in his car.

Alan walks into the motel room and sees a phone call from Ed Bauer. Ed assumes that it's Phillip but just with a bad connection. Ed tells Phillip to tell him if he misses anything. Ed tells Alan he got the latest blood tests back. There may not be time for the new experimental treatment Ed suggested. Ed knows that Phillip doesn't want to talk about that. Ed knows that Phillip got his hopes up but the disease is progressing. They are still on the same time line. Ed promises to make Phillip comfortable in his final time. They will treat the symptoms. Alan is stunned and heartbroken by the news. Ed says that Phillip should cut the trip short and come home. He needs to tell the family the news. Ed asks how Alan is. Alan just mumbles. Alan ends the phone call as Phillip walks in. The heartbreak is obvious on Alan's face as he looks at his son.

Phillip casually asks his dad how it went with the Pierce family. It went alright. Alan did what he could for now. Phillip says he knows that this is hard for his dad. Phillip is very proud of his dad. Alan asks Phillip why he decided to do this trip now. Phillip wanted his dad to feel better. He knows that the secret has been a source of pain and guilt for Alan. So Phillip assumes that they can have this perfect father son time now and make up for lost time. Alan then asks his son how much time he has left. Phillip acts like he doesn't know what his father is saying. Alan presses saying that Ed called. He left a message saying that the disease has progressed and they have the same time line still. Phillip looks at his dad realizing he can't cover it. Alan is horrified as he says that his son is still dying right.

Alan Part 2



Alan asks his son what is wrong? Phillip muddles for an answer saying that Ed is just making it worse than it sounds. Alan says that is a load of hogwash. Ed assumed he was talking to Phillip. Phillip attempts to change the subject by asking why his dad picked up the phone. Alan presses and says that Phillip can't deny it anymore. Phillip finally admits that he's sick. Alan asks how long his son has known. For a while. Phillip explains that he caught an infection while he was gone. It was dormant and now it's not. Alan presses about the time line. Phillip then admits that he's dying from the disease. Its a progressive infection that has no cure. Alan says that there has to be a cure. Phillip say that there isn't. Ed has been looking and searching for one. How much time does Phillip have? Phillip dodges the question until Alan presses his son harder. Phillip admits maybe only months or shorter. Phillip is dying. Phillip says that his dad can understand the urgency of why he wanted to make everything right. Phillip moves closer but Alan bristles and moves away. Alan accuses his son of being selfish. These were all lies. Alan thought that he was getting ..... the baseball clip, seeing the family all lies. Alan asks why he didn't tell him. Phillip admits he's not ready. Alan rages through his despair saying that Phillip was doing this trip to check off things before he dies. It was all lies between them. None of it was real. Alan rushes out.

Phillip calls out to his father. Alan doesn't want to hear anything more of what Phillip has to say. Phillip says what does it matter that he is sick. Phillip can ask his father a question like that. Phillip says that they are all dying. Life is short. They could get hit by a bus crossing the street tomorrow. Why did he want to do this? He wanted Alan to face the past. Phillip believes that it can change his dad for the better and help the family as well in the end. It can stop this cycle of fighting between father and son once and for all. Phillip really believes that. Alan says it's a load of crap. He's not there to help him. He's there to save them be the great hero so he can die in peace. Alan is done with this. Phillip tells his dad to stop. Alan says sorry Phillip doesn't get the right to fix him then just die on him. Alan says that will not happen. He will find his own ride home. Alan walks away.

Alan walks into the diner and is greeted by Charlie. Charlie again thanks Alan for the stories about his father Gerald. Charlie didn't know much about his dad. Alan says he's sorry for what happened to his dad. Charley says thank you. Gerald would have loved this place. Charlie is so proud of his dad. Charlie leaves. Alan walks out and looks out to the heavens. He mutters Phillip's name. The heartbreak and sadness evident in his voice.

Phillip sits in his bed organizing his next dose of pills. He bashes a bottle till it opens. He then tosses the pills away clearly angry and heartbroken at the same time.

Shayne Dinah Part 1



Marina brings out the mop and bucket and starts cleaning the floor. Marina looks over at a picture of her son. She then looks at a picture of herself and Mallet. Marina tosses it against the wall shattering it. She walks upstairs to the bedroom.

Dinah presses Mallet saying that he can't arrest Marina. Marina didn't murder the John Doe. Dinah did it. She's the one he is looking for. Why is she saying this? Dinah really wished she didn't have to say anything. She made a choice before she got married to Shayne to be happy but she's sick and tired of seeing Mallet hound Marina. She can't let Mallet do that to his family. Mallet doesn't believe what Dinah is telling him. She's just doing this so he won't turn in Marina. Mallet tells Dinah not to tell him this in a public place. A lot of people could overhear. Dinah tells Mallet that day she saw Marina and Henry over by the shopping center. They looked so beautiful together. She should have been watching her back because Edmund or whomever that person was walked up and said he knew that Henry was his grandson. Edmund was going to go after Henry and Marina. Dinah had no clue what to do but she had to stop him. Henry's stroller was outside the store. Marina had taken Henry to the park. Mallet knows the rest. Dinah is not sure how she had the strength to do it. Afterwords she put the body in the water and walked away. She went home and had a shower. Dinah didn't want anyone to pay for it. She was gong to sit on it and let it blow over. She never thought that Mallet would turn on his own wife. Dinah couldn't let that happen. Frank watches from a distance as an emotional Dinah says she did it.

Mallet tells Dinah that it's done. This conversation is over and it's not to be repeated again. He didn't hear her. He heard her loud and clear. Now they are going to bury it. Frank is shocked by the body language. Dinah is going to let it go. The case will die on the vine. Jeffrey is dead. It doesn't matter what people believe happened. It will just all go away. Dinah is confused. So Mallet is going to let her go but he was going to turn Marina in for it? Mallet tells Dinah to go have her happy life with Shayne. Mallet points out Shayne who is walking towards them. Go be with her husband and have that happy life.

Shayne Dinah Part 2



Shayne watches as Mallet and Dinah talk. How are they doing? Mallet says that he is very happy for Shayne and Dinah. Mallet tells Shayne to take good care of his bride. They need to go celebrate. Dinah thanks Mallet. Mallet leaves. Shayne asks if his bride is ready to start her new life. She is. Shayne and Dinah walk away. Shayne looks back at Mallet.

Mallet arrives home to find the shattered picture. Marina is there. So is he going to haul her down to the SPD now? Mallet says that is not going to happen. Mallet says that he needs to talk to his wife. Marina asks what now. Mallet says he's so sorry for doubting his wife. He should have believed her. He's so sorry. It was this stupid case. Mallet was not acting like himself. He will make it up to her for the rest of her life. Marina really wants to believe that but she's waiting for the other shoe to drop. Whenever this case got better invariably bad is bound to happen soon after. What changed his mind? Did he see Dinah? Marina says she reflected on their marriage when she watched Shayne and Dinah get married. Mallet did the same thing.

Shayne and Dinah arrive at the Beacon. Shayne asks if his bride is alright. She's just thinking. Not bad things right. She wants to live in the moment and be with Shayne. This is their wedding night. Where else would she be? Shayne and Dinah kiss. Shayne laughs saying the man she met in Europe was not whole. This man is and now he can carry his bride across the threshold. Dinah laughs.

Dinah Shayne Part 3



Shayne toasts to the happiest day of their lives. He asks Dinah again what is wrong. She's afraid. Of what? She's not all he thinks she is. Dinah doesn't want to let Shayne down. She doesn't want to fail him. He doesn't believe that will happen. Dinah says everyone else expects it from her. Dinah says his vows today meant so much to her. The way that the Lewis family took her in today. Shayne says that she is part of that family now. Dinah loves the idea of being part of a family now. She's always wanted that. Shayne says that they are going to have an amazing life together. Dinah wants to believe it but is not sure. They are going to have a surprising exciting life together. They are going to travel and help a lot of people. They are going to do crazy things but still take Henry to the zoo. Dinah wants to believe it all. Dinah believes that they are going to have a happy and long life together.

Mallet and Marina are cleaning up with Frank walks in. He needs to talk to Mallet about the case. Marina leaves. Frank knows that Dinah confessed to killing John Doe to Mallet. Mallet and Frank walk outside. So was Mallet just going to let Dinah walk and let Jeffrey take the fall? Mallet says that Dinah just told him the truth. He wanted to verify her story first. It's her wedding night. Dinah and Shayne just got married. Frank says fine but tomorrow Dinah will be arrested because she is a flight risk. Frank presses and Mallet say that he is handling it.

Shayne and Dinah start to make love but Dinah's rings fall off. Shayne says that they need to get the settings fixed. He can keep an eye on them for now. Shayne puts the rings in his pocket. Shayne starts to remove Dinah's dress but has to take care of something. Mallet calls then telling Dinah that Frank knows that she killed John Doe. He overheard the confession. They have a huge problem. Dinah says she's not dealing with it tonight. It's her wedding night. Dinah walks around scared. Shayne comes back in. Shayne asks where they were. Dinah kisses her husband then holds him close.

Dinah arrives at the SPD to confess but Mallet tells her that they can fix this. Josh asks how Reva is since it's only been a couple days since Jeffrey's funeral. Reva says today is a good day. The day after their wedding night. Dinah tells Shayne she doesn't want to leave Springfield on an extended honeymoon, she wants to leave because the cops are after her. Dinah tells Mallet that there is no point. She wants to confess. Dinah shows her hands to be handcuffed.

Dayna's In-depth Recap: Episode 15729, Monday, August 3, 2009

Alan watches Phillip make another phone call. Alan says that these are awfully mysterious. Phillip explains that he was talking to Ed. Alan wants to get some food. Phillip says that is a good idea. There is a little cafe halfway to the next ball park. They make the best pancakes in Ohio. Alan grumbles but Phillip tells him to get going.



Phillip and Alan arrive at the cafe. Alan says that they sure came a long way to eat. Joanne comes out and gives them the pancakes. Alan is impressed. They are really good. Phillip asks his father if this trip was so bad. Alan says it was fine but he knows that his son is hiding something. Phillip says they can almost go home. He's almost done what he planned on doing. Alan wants the real reason why Phillip brought him all this way. He knows it's not about ballparks. Alan tells his son no more riddles. Phillip says he's going to give it straight to his dad like Alan did that day at the campsite. Alan says that Phillip is reading too much into the story. Phillip explains that this has to do with the lady they just met. The waitress? She actually owns the place with her son Charlie. How does Phillip know them? Phillip doesn't . Alan does. Phillip explains to Alan that Joanne is the widow of Gerald Pierce, the man that Brandon sent to Vietnam in his place. Alan is ticked off that Phillip set him up like this. Phillip says that this is a chance for Alan to make peace with the past. Alan leaves the restaurant.

Phillip finds his dad outside. It's clear that the news has affected Alan. Phillip tells his dad to go inside and talk to Joanne. How can Alan do that after the terrible thing he did to that family? Phillip says that is not true. The money made it so Joanne could buy the place. Alan says so money makes up for no father and husband. Phillip says no but Alan can't carry this burden anymore. He needs to face what happened. He needs to walk up and ask for forgiveness. When he does that then he will be free. What does Alan have to lose? Alan walks away.



Phillip is lying on his bed back in the motel room when Alan comes back. Did Alan have a good walk? Alan says that all he saw were cars and trucks. They are in the middle of nowhere. Did he go back to the restaurant? No. Alan gets why Phillip did what he did. Alan can't do it. He can't go back in there. He's afraid. He wants to but can't. Phillip says that Alan needs to face his demons. They are just people there. It's just Joanne and Charlie. People just like him.

Alan walks into the cafe and looks around. Joanne comes out and asks if she can get Alan anything. She can go get him a cup of coffee. Alan walks over and sees a medal. Joanne walks over and says that belonged to her husband. They were all just boys back then. The big boy over in the corner is her son Charlie. He's the reason that she keeps the silver star around. He's proud of his dad. It's the one connection he has. He's proud of his dad. Alan walks over and introduces himself to Charlie. Alan says that he knew Gerald.

Phillip is on his phone leaving a message for Ed. They are going to be returning soon. Can Ed call him back? Phillip is starting to feel the ill effects of his disease. They will be heading back soon. Phillip asks Ed to call him with the blood work results. Phillip leaves.

Alan returns just as Ed returns his call. Alan questions what his wrong with his son.



Shayne is getting ready for the wedding in his hotel room when he calls his bride. Dinah missed him last night. Shayne said that she booted him out of the room. Dinah says that she's superstitious. Is Josh there? Shayne says that he was with his dad earlier. Shayne had to leave because Josh was going on about marital advice. Dinah says that his dad just wanted her to be happy. Shayne says that he is happy. Is Dinah happy? Dinah's so happy it scares her. Shayne tells her to marry him and she'll never be scared again. Vanessa calls out to Dinah. Dinah tells Shayne that she needs to get ready. Vanessa and Ashlee are there. She will see Shayne at the courthouse. Shayne says no. He wants to meet at their gazebo at noon. He wants to see her before. Dinah looks over at her mom. Vanessa helps her with the necklace. Vanessa is so happy she will not have to worry about her daughter anymore. Dinah is beyond happy. She's getting married.

Reva walks around Cross Creek. She's really trying to be happy. She thinks she has everyone convinced that she actually is. She questions if it is ever going to stop hurting. She's not sure how she is going to get through this. Shayne and Dinah are getting married today. Dinah makes Shayne so happy just like Jeffrey did for her. Reva will put on a good show but she still misses him. Reva says that Blake is going to watch over Colin today. Knock at the door and it's Billy. Reva asks Jeffrey to wish her luck. Billy says they should get going because Shayne is getting married.. Reva is fine with that. She's beyond happy for them.

Bill and Lizzie are moving stuff into their new house. Lizzie says that they need to get changed for the wedding. Bill can't be late for his sisters wedding. Vanessa is very happy that two of her kids got married. Lizzie misses her dad. He will be back tomorrow. Lizzie tells her husband to get changed. Billy agrees a happy wife makes his life happy.

Mallet says that the lies have to stop as he looks at the trust. Marina asks him to help her tie her dress. Marina is so happy for today. They have finally put the trouble of the last couple of days behind them. They have a fresh start. They have told all and put it out there. Mallet says that they really need to do that for Henry. They need to be honest with each other. Honesty is more important than money right. Marina agrees look where it got Alan and Edmund. It doesn't work out. They have to leave and take Henry to Company. Marina is happy that Shayne and Dinah are getting married. She's happy that she and Mallet get a new start.

Dinah is at the gazebo playing with her engagement ring when Shayne sees her from behind. She takes his breathe away. Shayne has a bouquet for his bride. He almost got caught picking them out. Dinah says that she's allergic to them. Does she have flowers? Lilacs. They don't seem to bother her. Shayne says that the flowers can not be as beautiful as his bride. She looks stunning. Dinah questions no carriage today? No. She can't ride a bike. Shayne suggests that they walk to their wedding. Dinah says it's a perfect day for a walk. Shayne and Dinah grasp hands as they walk to their wedding.



Shayne and Dinah are on the bridge looking at the pond. A pair of swans start honking. Dinah says that is good luck. Shayne says that they should do what swans do and mate for life. Dinah smiles as the swans keep honking. Is she ready? Dinah is so ready to get married. She wants to land somewhere and be happy, loved and appreciated. Shayne says that she picked a pretty good spot then to land. Dinah asks if they are going to have walks like this after they get married. Are they going to fly kites still? Shayne says for the rest of their lives. They will do it with their kids. Kids? Shayne wants so much to have a little girl who looks as beautiful as her mother. Dinah can't believe that she is finally making plans. She is thinking of a future. She's never had something like that. Shayne says before they do that they should go and get married. Dinah asks if anyone is going to show up at their wedding. Remy will because there is free food. They have their families. Shayne asks if they are doing this too fast. Does Dinah want a big wedding? Dinah wants to marry him now. She wants to know what everyone to know what an amazing man she is marrying. Dinah offers her arm. Shayne says he's supposed to do that. Dinah says he should get his bride to the courthouse on time.

Everyone is at the courthouse waiting for Shayne and Dinah. Reva asks where they are. Josh says that Shayne and Dinah wanted to walk to their wedding. Mallet says he has to head inside. Christina walks over to Marina. They are so happy for Shayne and Dinah. Marina is as well. She can tell how much Shayne loves Dinah. Dinah has been a really good friend to them. She helped them find Henry. She's the reason that they do have him. Marina loves talking about her son.

Mallet is working on the paperwork in the SPD when Remy walks in. Remy tells Mallet today is not the day to work on the case. Mallet says that he thought he knew Marina but he can't trust her. She lied about Henry. He has no clue if she lied about John Doe as well. She could have murdered him. They have been keeping a lot of secrets. Mallet shows Remy the trust papers. Remy is impressed. Henry will be a wealthy little boy. Why did Marina hide this from him? Remy tells Mallet to put it on hold. This is Shayne and Dinah's wedding day.

Everyone is there as Shayne and Dinah arrive at the courthouse. All congratulate Shayne and Dinah. Shayne and Dinah head inside.



Remy sees Dinah with Ashlee in the hallway. Remy says he's checking on Dinah for Shayne. Dinah can't do this. Remy says she can't leave Shayne like that. Ashlee explains that Dinah has nobody to walk her down the aisle. Since it's not a church, it's not that big of a deal. Remy says that the problem is solved. He will do it for her. Dinah is beyond happy that her best friend would do that for her. Ashlee goes to tell everyone that it's almost ready. Dinah thanks her best friend for doing this. Bill and Lizzie arrive outside the courthouse. How can she run in those shoes? Not very quickly. Lizzie hates rushing into Dinah's wedding. Lizzie Spaulding would have no problem with that but she is Lizzie Lewis now. She's more refined. Lizzie is really happy for Dinah. She's turned her life around and made up for her past.

Bill and Lizzie rush in and see Dinah with Remy. Remy says he's giving Dinah away. Bill is visibly heartbroken. Is he in the doghouse? Dinah says he is with their mom but today all the focus is on Dinah. Bill and Lizzie head in. Remy asks if Dinah is ready. Dinah says that she wants to be happy. She doesn't deserve it but she wants it so much. Remy says then they should get going.

Everyone is waiting in the courthouse when Remy brings Dinah in ( Kyler England's " If you want me to" ) Shayne says that his bride looks beautiful. Doris begins the ceremony. She's happy that everyone is there for Shayne and Dinah today. Doris says that they are ready to be each others best friends, confidantes, husband and wife. Shayne and Dinah both have vows. Shayne tells Dinah he wants to tell everyone that they love again how she saved his life. He was wreck in Germany when she found him. Dinah knows. Dinah taught him to live again. Since that day they have developed a relationship based on honesty and trust which is huge for him. Shayne always believed that you only get one love in this life. They both have had loves before and lost them. Dinah has taught Shayne that love doesn't die. Love goes on for the rest of our lives. Shayne promise to fight for that love to keep it going on. Dinah through tears tells Shayne that he never tried to change her which she appreciated more than anything. He accepted her. She is going to be the best person she can be from now on. She's going to deserve the love. She's such a lucky lucky woman to have found him. Doris asks if anyone has rings. Josh passes rings to Shayne. Doris holds off and tells Shayne to say after her. Shayne takes Dinah's hand and says with this ring I thee wed. Dinah looks at her wedding ring. Doris pronounces them husband and wife. Shayne may kiss his wife. Shayne kisses Dinah passionately as everyone cheers. Doris tells Ashlee that they are so happy. Doris hopes her daughter finds that type of happiness. Ashlee hopes the same thing for her mom. Reva and Josh are so happy for Shayne and Dinah. Josh hopes that Shayne and Dinah are as happy as they look. Shayne says happier. Shayne says that they should all head over to Towers. He doesn't want to tick off his new mother in law. Everyone leaves.



Reva and Josh watch as Shayne and Dinah hug each other close at Towers. Josh smiles saying they got something right this time. Reva says that they have good kids. Josh says that their son is happy. It shows you that you need to grab that type of love when you find it. Reva says that they are very lucky. Josh says sorry. Reva says she had it for a bit while she was married to Jeffrey. She hopes that Shayne and Dinah's love last longer.

Mallet sees Remy. Mallet is going to give Marina one more chance to confess. Remy tells Mallet to drop it. She was a mom protecting her kid. Mallet gets that but he's not sure if his wife is capable of telling the truth. The truth always catches up when you lie. It can wreck the life that you have. If Marina can't see that then she needs some mental help. Mallet walks over to Marina. Henry is doing good. Marina says that Mallet is such a good dad. Henry has all he needs right. Mallet thinks he may get a second job. Why? They are better off then most families. They can put money away for expenses later on. It's not as if Henry has some buried treasure right. Marina agrees. Mallet says that they need to talk outside now. Marina agrees.

Bill pulls up his wine glass and tells everyone he wants to make a toast to Shayne and Dinah. Bill is so happy for them that they found each other. They did it right. They had the good sense to realize that when you find the perfect person that you don't wait. You get it done. Shayne and Dinah laugh. Bill tells Shayne to take care of his sister. Bill loves them both very much. He wishes them all the happiness in the world.

Mallet and Marina are outside. Mallet thrusts the paper in Marina's face. What is this? It came in box from Edmund. The box she burned. She didn't burn it because it's money. Why did she hide it from him? Mallet was busy. She was going to show it to Jeffrey when she had the chance. Why is he so suspicious of her? Mallet wants the truth for all of them. Marina lashes out at her husband. Nothing has changed. No matter what she does. He still thinks that she killed John Doe. She's not lying about that. Marina was a cop once she knows how this looks. He has grilled her harder than any of his other suspects. He doesn't believe in her. Mallet pushes about the money. Marina runs away.

Dinah tells Shayne that she got Baked Alaska for their wedding. Is she going to light it? Dinah laughs. She's put that all behind her. She's an old married woman. Shayne disagrees with that. She's still his beautiful bride.



Mallet is outside when Remy finds him. Both are unaware that Dinah is standing above looking down at them. Mallet says he showed Marina the trust and she had no good excuse to hide it from him. Mallet wonders what else Marina has lied to him about. Marina could have done this for the money. Remy can't believe that Mallet believes that. Mallet says it doesn't look good. Remy again says that if Marina did it she saved all of them from Edmund. Mallet says he's going to bring Marina in for questioning. She needs to get help. He has to protect Henry. Mallet asks why Marina never told the truth. She would have saved everyone so much hurt.

Shayne is inside searching for his bride which give Josh and Billy a good chuckle. Looking for his wife. How does that sound? Shayne likes the sound of it. It feels good and right. Josh says that Dinah will be back.

Mallet is walking away when Dinah calls out to him. Dinah says Mallet can't do this. She heard him talking to Remy. He can't do this. Mallet tried to be happy. It's Dinah's wedding. She should go back to her husband and be happy. She wants to be happy but Mallet is making it damn hard. Dinah wants to deserve her happiness but she can't keep this secret anymore. Mallet can't turn in Marina because she didn't do it. Dinah did.
